The chips were cold and all deadends …Battered Burger was over cooked and batter burnt ….Looks like food had stood too long

This was gills 2nd chance from us, though the food is ok they just can’t pack an order and always forget something and we decided to give them another chance but again they forgot an item leavin one of our party without food no more chances, useless!

Really disappointed with tonight’s delivery, garlic sauce was missing, pitta salad came made up it has never been like that before,and portion size on kebab chip buttie was shocking

my order came with half of the things i ordered missing and when i rang they refused to send out the missing items and had bad customer service

well done for gills of concord for accepting payment by cash .as others done ..they should take note ...especially if people have no money on cards etc ...come on other shops pull ya finger out and follow gills ...we shall see in future .

Chips were dark brown and tasted burnt. went in bin. After leaving a note to ensure this was not the case after past similar experience. They took no notice of the note.

Ordered a kebab with garlic sauce, order came.. no garlic. Rang the restaurant straight away and they said it would be sent out. An hour later it finally arrived, whilst my food is now freezing and won’t be eaten. Waste of money

I was led to believe the fish shop was taken over by the chap that had fish shop Donwell ..i have just been & got fish bites & chips ..i am so sorry but they were disgusting chips cold & fish bits 2 out of 3 was dry ...i used to go to Donwell chippy they were perfect so don't know what happened..at Gillies so sorry..so hope if i do go back be better ..my friend had fish & chios from you the other day said they were lovely ..so sorry don 't know what happened to our tonight so so disapointed.....

The sausage and chips came fine exept for 2 curry came when 1 was meant to be gravy and one of the spam fritters smelled funny and was thrown out after the first bite as it tasted sour

Disgusting attitude and rip off food. Charging 16 pound for a meal deal that has only half of the contents .got it through Uber. But shop says it's not their fault

received a bottle of coke instead of bottle villa ..and the bottles are only 1.5 litre . not 2litres as advertised on menu but still get charged 2.25 ...out of order dont you agree ..needs to be looked at asap bad for business aswell ..

Delivered to incorrect address supplied by just eat, went to address it was delivered too only to find no one home but Gill says it has been delivered. They gave me no help at all took my money no one at the delivery address and say it was delivered, keep away from this place for delivery

The batter on the fish was uncooked on the underside, not nice.

Food was delicious and came earlier than it was expected however the delivery driver was so rude braying on my door like he was the police trying to get in. Woke my kids up and my youngest got a scare and he had no manners

⚠️ don't even bother spending your money here. i spent £30+ and all that came was a kebab, pizza n cans of pop, rest was missing and what did come was freezing!!! the delivery person was rude as well, didn't help that they had to come a second time to give us the food we didn't get the first time round! everything was inedible, won't give me a refund, DO NOT GO HERE

Great food and the place is always busy. Fish is fried to order usually so you couldn't ask for any fresher. Keep in mind though, this shop is CASH ONLY. I've been caught out when I've ordered food over the phone, have went to pick it up and only had my mobile to pay for something... Can't pay and can't use a cash machine. Ooops.

I did not receive my order at al, but I received Kebab meat and chips. So No Cod, No Jumbo sausage, No Cheese pattie, No Corned beef pattie, No Fish cake and NoGarlic bread with Cheese and Mushroom 10"

Usually rate this place but today’s was inedible and went in the bin, if had been a restaurant you get he bill after the food I wouldn’t have paid that’s for sure! Gross!

Tonight I ordered X2 Pizzas 🍕 X1 portion of large donner meat with Garlic and X1 chips with garlic for me and my partner. The delivery was on time but unfortunately the food was not up to standard. The Pizzas 🍕 where dry and my partner was disappointed with his donner meat it was cold and rubbery. The chips 🍟 were okay and the garlic dip was really nice. Gill fisheries usually do extremely nice Pizzas 🍕 and Donner Meat so I hope tonight was just a one off unfortunate circumstance otherwise I will have to go elsewhere which will be sadly disappointing. 😔😥😞

I would not recommend the food from here as I found a long black hair in my chips and the food was undercooked, the portion of salt and vinegar put on my chips was so minimal that we could not taste it. Of all the chippy's I have been to in my life, considering I am 37 years old, this has been the most horrific experience in all eternity.

Chips were like rubber & cold. Pizza was also cold. I imagine they were made and then sat there while waiting to go out for delivery. Delivery was on time. It's the first time this has happened when ordering from here so wondering if it's because it's a weekend so they might be busier.

Was alright kebab was greasy small portion of chips and short changed me £1.50 ano it’s only £1.50 but it’s not the point.

Used to be mint. Please go back to original sausage you were using, as one you are using has no meat ask my dog's may as well be a vegetarian

Asked for no sauce to be added onto kebabs in collection notes, both were swimming in garlic sauce. Food was binned.

Had a lot of different things from the menu and everything we've had has been very nice. Also, delivery staff are a pleasure to deal with.

Food was dreadful. Chips tasted like they were off and the fish was that greasy that it stuck to the paper. Also asked for salt, vinegar and batter which was not put on... not that it would have made mich difference. Lifting!

3rd time in a row I've used this and the chips are disgusting....all ends.dry as sticks ..old potatoes and not one decent chip amongst the lot. You really need to think about your potatoe supplier Mr Fish Shop.....worst ever....yuk... Fish was OK but expensive...sport by the worst chips ever....

Requested fresh Cooked chips as my last delivery they were warmed up and badly burnt. Once again they were warmed up and burnt so won't be ordering again.
