Collected my order to item missing rang the store he said go back down (10 minutes away), i went back down to be told the item wasn't even added on my order after me asking for the item, so i could have been told this on the phone when i rang. Absolutely waste of time. Got back home to cold food. Pizza is over done that over done it cut the top of my mouth while eating the crust! Not the best customer service either. Nothing like it use to be. Definitely won't be going back.

Had smokey and chips, was fine, would come again.

I went earlier this evening and ordered food the food was tasty however the inside of the place was disgusting and disappointing there was Kebab on the fooor

We got fish and chips, the batter was soggy and borderline inedible, we needed to peel the batter off to be able to enjoy the fish inside. The staff were also arguing among themselves about the price of the food that I ordered. Not an enjoyable experience. The food was relatively cheap compared to our regular but we will only return when Bell's is closed.

Phoned an order in and Collected two 14” pizzas from here at 1315hrs today and the pizzas were amazing Looked great and tasted great and the price was very very good, we also got a garlic and a chilli dip which were both good size portion and again tasted great Staff seemed friendly, polite and well organised If you ain’t tried Ritz for pizzas then you should really give them a go Thanks Support the small business

Ordered food. Only half showed up. Unable to get ahold of anybody, tried calling multiple times. Nothing. Second time I’ve had issues when ordering from them, gave them the benefit of the doubt first time but after this I’d say don’t bother.

Shop was empty, but about 10 staff were buzzing around behind the counter, had to wait a few minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there, when they did the service was OK. I had donner kebab with salad and chips The kebab was rubbery and didn't taste of lamb or meat at all. The chilli sauce was ok but was so small, approx 40ml, you couldn't cover the salad never mind the donner meat. The salad had big brown lumps of old cabbage and onion in it, not fresh and the pitta bread was so stale it crumbled into pieces when trying to open it. The chips were awful too, old and hard and tasted of battered sausage. Won't be going back here again, got to be the worst food I've had from a takeaway ever!

We are repeat customers, having gone for years. We were very disappointed that tonight the large fish we ordered was almost all batter with no fish. When we called to explain we received no apology and were offered no replacement when we returned to the shop. Very poor customer service and very disappointed.

Ordered last night 7pm no response no nothing. Tried calling message fb nothing. Ordered elsewhere.

Placed order here 6pm.....8:30pm still waiting for food, no communication and won't answer phone, very poor service won't be using again.

Quick and easy order and queuing system resulting in freshly cooked fish. Absolutely delicious fish and chips. Went for the medium size fish. More than enough. 2 of us shared 1 lot of chips - again, more than enough. Curry sauce on the side - best we've had. Will definitely be back, soon.

Awful lack of service ordered a take away did not arrive after 70 minutes. Rang to ask where it was and was told they had not even made it never mind sent it for delivery. Bitterly disappointed at the lack of care and service !!!! Never received our FOOD AT ALL! AVOID AT BUSY TIMES POOR SERVICE RISQ!!

The wrap was falling aparat too much sauce was put in and wasn't tasty. The lady at the till was impolite and bad attitude to serve people

This is a good place for your food .....Good quality and reasonable price....boss very pleasant. Kebabs are massive....mince pies are very nice.. Good portion sizes.

I've been going to this chippy for 8 years now. Best fish in washington chips beautiful also peas lovely. My children love the wraps and pizzas. I wouldn't use any other chippy apart from RITZ CHIPPY MANI IS EXCELLENT

Good food but when the web site says open till 9.30 and went at 9.10 and closing up shop ,bad needs to improve updating web sites

If I could give this zero stars I would, very disappointed. Ordered meal deal which consisted of fish and chips and kebab pizza. Fish dry and tasteless, kebab meat burnt . Bottom of pizza soggy . Waste of money . Avoid, avoid , avoid!!!

Feeling a little blue and not knowing where to go to, I thought I'd go to where fashion sits. Careful if you walk with sticks in your mitts, you have to tred a stair on the way in.

While the food is good I tried to use the 10% off on Monday - Thursday. The code did not work so I rang up. Apparently it says in their t&cs fish does not count on the 10% off. I read their t&cs and it does not mention anything of the sort. So they need to update it instead of promoting false advertisement

Poor service lack of staff waited over half hour to be served then served a local before me.

Wrong order delivered, sent back with driver but driver palmed off on one of the kids to bring it back. unbeleivably the shop refused to answer the phone. Never ever again from that tip of a shop.

Easily the worst chip butty I’ve ever seen or bought from any takeaway ever!! The bun looked like it had been twisted and rung out before they put the chips in? Wouldn’t even feed it to me dog! Disgraceful.

Fresh food cooked to order - perfect everything

Got large fish & chips and one large fish today, nearly every Friday we get fish & chips for Tea, always recommended this fish shop, BUT tonight our fish and chips were just warm and not very nice at all, was very disappointed.

Ordered a chicken kebab, expecting it to be cooked to order, what I got was greasy pre heated chicken thigh meat kebab, absolutely disgusting, i suspected something when it was ready in a couple of minutes and the grill had not been turned on. Cutting costs at the expense of the quality of food.

Absolutely discusting ordered a 1/2 1/2 pizza one 1/2 was donner kebab with tomato base turned up and had chilli, phoned to complain and owner doesn’t care that his menu doesn’t mention chilli in the kebab meat, mouth was on fire and going to be very poorly as can’t eat chilli hence the tomato version. Considering we have ordered donner meat in the past and never had an issue with chilli in the meat seemed to be a poor excuse. Doesn’t comply with allergy legislation. Seriously don’t go here if you have any food allergies as the owner really doesn’t care.

Had a takeaway from ritz on Monday, it was disgusting, chips were like mash and cold, fish like rubber, and chicken wrap was swimming in garlic sauce with cabbage and one piece lettuce, terrible for £15, will never go back.

I have a lush fish & chips twice over the last couple of weeks. Last night I bought a cornbeef pattie which I really enjoyed and a chips & gravy. The gravy on my chips had no flavour so I was a little bit disappointed so I didn't eat much of that. However it hasn't put me off returning especially for their fish which is delicious. Also the potion size is really big and the staff are very polite.

Ordered a takeaway from here after hearing some good reviews, wish I hadn’t!!! The mixed chicken tikka wrap, it was nice but was basically a kebab wrap with a couple bits of chicken in, now for their “large” fish and chips..it was like a child’s portion of cod bites! Literally the smallest portion of fish and chips I have ever seen! Menu states they do a “whale” of a cod, no option to buy this on website? But judging by the “large” fish we received I’m guessing the “whale” is just a normal sized fish! Don’t bother ordering from here if ya want value for money..or if ya hungry!!

Ordered the chicken kebab. Was a mountain of food worth sharing between 2, especially for a lunch, but managed it myself somehow and I’ll be back very very soon as it was top notch!

I love the chicken tikka pizza, and the chips are always cooked to perfection. The staff are so polite, and the delivery man is always polite. Love Ritz.

Nice cod and a good portion of chips.

Overall a bit tasteless, Bolognese pizza bland, needs more tomatoe flavour, Chicken kebab had no flavour, plenty meat but tasteless. Even the garlic sauce was pretty bland. Won't be ordering again. Left most of it.

I order here all the time, the delivery time is a bit over average but it's worth it. I'd recommend anyone looking to order from here to do it.

Ordered a mixed kerbs and salad, chips extra garlic sauce and pitta. Kerbs salad consists of only lettuce and onions. Tried to phone no, no luck. Had to drive and get rest of salad. Not Good, got home food cold. Really not happy. First time this has happened. All I can think I got someone else order. Still not good enough.

I don't go anywhere else but here for our fish and chips they make you welcome

First time here fish was far to oily and I order 2 cartons of mushy peas and 1 curry got it the other way round. And for the mushy peas they were really slopping. Very disappointed as I heard good things about here

Please do be carful when ordering online as they will tell you 30mins but what they really mean is nearly 2 hrs, When your order does not arrive and you call them they just do not answer then take it off the hook, However once it was answered and put straight on to mute ? They maybe polite to customers in the shop but online orders are really slow in arriving and customer service is shocking??? I do not think for one min that they care about what people say and write just as long as the money is coming in.

Tasty, friendly service best to phone up to place order for collection

I asked if they sold pensioner fish and chips - No. I asked for small fish and chips but told, abruptly, 'only got large'. I'll have large then. I was told it would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, I'm still waiting but noticed in the shop, whilst someone else was being served, the server handling the food without food tongs or gloves on. Then, as I was still waiting but next in the queue, I noticed another server really going for it - handling the food as if it was putty - without gloves or food tongs. I shouted at everyone in the shop that surely they should be using food tongs, but I got no response at all. I left the queue in disgust to buy fish and chips from a shop where staff sanitise their hands after every transaction. This isn't done at the Ritz. Buyers beware - their hygiene is not 5 star. It's disgusting, especially at this particular time. I will not be returning.

Usually an easy 4 star but I've been waiting over 2 hours and still no food, shame on you.

The worst fish and chips we have ever had! They were all batter and hardly any fish. Not freshly cooked.... they had obviously been standing for a while. We will not be returning.

Ordered some food tonight for 7pm we were told delivery maybe 15 mins either side. At 7.30pm we called to see if they were on the way. We were told the driver left at 7.05pm, at 7.50pm we get our delivery and yes they were cold. I called to the driver to inform him and he shrugged his shoulders and told me he left at 7.30pm and delivery is 15 mins to an hour. When I explained I was not told this and told him it was not acceptable and they were cold he got in his car and drove off. I appreciate you were busy but Good Friday we got some and they were hot and delicious but tonight they were horrid. Don’t think I’ll be going back especially after the rude driver..

The last 3 times I have had fish from here it's been fish bites not a fish that I had ordered they seem to think they can get away with giving you what's left I'll have to think seriously before I go back went right down hill

The food is always lovely however trying to place an order via telephone is awful , I rang 11 times trying to place an order for delivery and they still didn’t answer.

Bit to many orders to keep up with said straight away for collection it was more like 25 minutes. Foods always decent though.
