Really enjoyed my visit, food spot on and as expected in a spoons all good

All ages in for the cheap drink and the craic

Food has deteriorated massively, portion size for a child , steak cooked extra well done when supposed to be medium and all eggs are always over cooked and food cold

3 out of 4 meals returned to kitchen as they were cold coming out. I don't think this is acceptable. I know it is all prepackaged and then microwaved but even so. The girls serving were very polite and quick to take them away and get them exchanged.

Typical Wetherspoons cheap beers off the shelf meals but still a place to go to spread your money as far as possible.

Still the cheapest place in Washington other than a club. As for the food, well you get what you pay for really. Breakfasts are still good though.

Just had breakfast (cold) plate cold bacon egg hash brown black pudding warm mushrooms not cooked this was our 1st and last time staff are canny shame about the food Hexham pub is much better

The new shawarma is a complete NO NO. Supposed to be 12" actually about 5". Told that it is a 12" but rolled up - keg! Who's kidding who, a rip off should have asked for money back.

Just what you'd expect from a Weatherspoon in Concord - but it's probably the best priced pub on the high street, worth a visit. Food served most of the day too.

My husband and i always pick this WS over the others within surrounding areas. The food is always spot on, and you definitely get it served hot and presentable. Whilst the WS in Sunderland is the complete opposite! Everyone is friendly. The punters are respectful to others. We've never encountered loud, swearing, or abusive punters. Unlike Sunderland! There is a large seating area that is perfect for families with children 😀

Food unknown, but sitting here drinking a Stella Artois and Bus coming to less than £7, when just coming back from the City Centre Newcastle paying £6.05 for Bierra Moretti, am speechless on prices. Will come back for food reviews, next, but shows the price deferences.

Called in for an early breakfast £4.99 Coffee about £1.60 with free refills, From a machine , not a coffee pot. So good quality. Staff pleasant and helpful

The disabled toilet was in need of a major overhaul. The toilet seat was falling off the toilet systern was completely cracked i reported this to staff and nothing was done. I hope the next time i visit this is fixed

This place wasn't really busy when we went. The food was nice and staff were friendly.

Brought out 3 dirty glasses, and went to change them. The manager got me another glass. And guess what it was dirty 🤣

Don’t order the Wiltshire ham and cheese panini as you will be very disappointed. As a cover chef, I would be embarrassed to serve this rock hard, inedible panini. Needless to say it was returned untouched.

Breakfast was very poor from here I lije the weatherspooms breakfast but this one was well below par may be a off day but a nice pint

Food was bland, had full English. Eggs were florescent yellow and like play dough.

Understaffed/underwhelming/non festive/manager less venue. Vaping commonplace/swearing obligatory. Thankfully saved by some overstretched contentious staff. No doubt good profit margins however.

One night had steak meal which was very good, next day had Christmas meal with piece of frozen parsnip. Didn't reckon the Christmas meal much.

Went for a full English breakfast. Ordered using the app, and the food arrived pretty quickly. Will definitely go again.

Terrible. Stay at home or go somewhere else. They have a bell push if you are in a wheel chair. To gain access as it’s impossible otherwise. When the bell is pressed it rings a bell around the pub. You cannot pretend you haven’t heard it if you’re a worker. More often than not the staff ignore it. After multiple presses one of the customers comes out to open the doors for a wheelchair user. Not good the staff don’t care. Even with a manager sitting in the pub drinking coffee even the manager ignored the bell. Breakfast on Friday was terrible. Two meals both fried eggs were freezing cold. This was after we waiting over 30 minutes to be served The chips were tepid. No one to complain to as the staff either ignore customers or disappear. A really terrible place. If you can go somewhere else go there. They don’t care.

A relatively pleasant branch of Wetherspoon in a sadly rather run-down town. There is limited parking outside or residential streets a couple of minutes walk away.

Lovely breakfast and very pleasant staff. The only downside is the toilets are upstairs. There is plenty of parking outside or around the corner too. Fairly quiet with decent seating too. Must have a sale on the app as it was really cheap too 😁

Staff seem to be constantly looking for ways to stop serving and close the place early because they "Have a life". I suggest you find another job.

Always does the job of a quick bite to eat at a good price. Will always recommend as a good place to start drinking in Washington too

I can't believe this pub's toilets were not nominated for an award in Wetherspoons Spring/Summer magazine 'loo of the year awards'.

Great pub with a really good choice of beers, wines and spirits that also provides excellent food. The staff are very friendly, polite and professional .

I went to this pub on Thursday with my wife and daughter. It was absolutely filthy the entrance to the pub was disgusting the seats were covered in stains tables were dirty. If the food was free I would not eat there. It’s really gone done hill and needs a deep deep clean or better.

Very busy place served really quickly there is also an app to download and bring food/drinks to your table.

Beware of missing items from meals. Went twice and on both occasions food was missing. Mistake or on purpose? Your call, but keep an eye on them.

I know there is a cost of living crisis, but this Spoons was terrible. They quite blatantly‘forgot’ many items from my meal. Yes, once challenged they gave me what i paid for. However, the food was poor full stop. Take a look at the pic. Avoid at all costs. MANKY PEAS!!

Tip's. Don't buy anything: bring in your own food and drink. Witnessed four young ladies just do that. Also help yourself to condiments when not eating. One customer regularly fills his pockets with ketchup sachets.

Don't use the mayonnaise bottles! Just observed a local 'native' break a new bottle by tearing off the seal with his teeth.

Great Wetherspoons. Better than both the ones in Sunderland, which are nearer to me. Free parking too, unlike Sunderland.

It was quiz night but I was arrived to late to participate, staff very friendly & inside very clean & sanitised.

Normally you can rely on spoons getting my favourite cheese and ham panini right no matter how busy it is. Saturdays offering was terrible bread was hard as in stale, sandwich tasted strange plus the cheese was not melted inside the panini. also ordered chips got 15 white and soft as in undercooked and finally my soup was great but only half the usual portion. Hubby had ordered ham egg and chips again ham tasted funny hardly any chips and the yolk on the eggs was hard. Young girl asked if our meal was ok we told her no she apologised but that was it. If we were not in such a rush I would have asked for my money back. Will we go again probably I know this is just a fast food pub and we don’t expect amazing food but this has been the worst meal we have ever had in Washington spoons.

We went to this pub as we where close by and were a little hungry, we have previously eaten at this pub chain before, worst mistake. After looking at the menu we ordered our food and due to food allergens, we had asked to swop out a few ingredients for extra chips, such as, no source, no bacon, no onion rings, this usually at other retail chains is not an issue and would normally offer a plate of chips, the wife ordered extra chips and a cheese baquet, she asked for butter for the baquet. The food came, the extra chips mounted to around an extra 12 chips compared to the wife's chips, they also forgot to add the cheese to my order. When we asked about the cheese, they ran out of cheeder, so why has the wife got a cheeder baquet? The baquet had no butter and did seem stale, when we asked about this we where brushed off, saying you got an extra portion of chips, what 12!, They had no butter and apprently there is a shortage of salt, so why does the other waiter pass the next table a salt pot? Staff not interested in your concerns, only asked about the extra chips, salt and butter and got shot down for it. This pub is a shocking example of bad customer service and we will not be visiting the chain again

Breakfast not too bad but could have been hotter. Warm plates would help

On sitting down, informed waiter service of there being ' a triple squashed chip' on the floor. Waiter/server acknowledged and made some garbled response about the cleaners had been in and then walked away. Did not return to pick up offending foodstuff. Ah!Ah.

A disgrace not allowing people to sit on the seats at the front even tho it is a public street just because they have a dog.

I normally love Wetherspoons, but this one disappointed. It was not busy when we arrived, yet we could not find a clean table. Every single one had not been wiped properly. I ordered on the app as I normally do. It took quite a long time before our drinks arrived and the server did not know where our table was. The food wash only just warm, luckily I am a quick eater. Really I should have sent it back.

Food usually nice, but chicken burger was over done and they had no beef burgers or chicken strips.

Went 3 times in 2 days for food (1 breakfast and two teas). Food as good as restaurant quality. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Range of condiments. Even though it’s been busy when I’ve been in you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other because the place is quite big and the layout of tables is very good. Prices are well worth it.

Some of our party had adequate food, some had very slow service and weren't served before others were finished. Our table wasn't cleared and as a result one of us got a burnt finger when the waiter placed a volcanic plate on his hand, with a much overheated dessert. Manager was told but blamed being busy. Really was only half full. I doubt we'd return.

Service extremely slow for those not using the app. Very disappointing. That slow we left. I know we are living in strange times but weathers are usually more organised. Other than that safe systems.

My family and I have had many family meals here and food has always been good. Pub grub is what you get at any weatherspoons and is fine when you want to pop in for tea or breakfast. The table app makes following covid guidance easy and screens are in place between tables, again to keep customers safe. They do get very busy at times but also have quite times too. All staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, Craig, one of the waiters is always cheerful and happy to go the extra mile his sunny disposition never wavers!

Popped in for tea to take advantage of the 50% offer. The food itself was OK. 3 plates for a tenner was good value. I got loaded chips, tho the cheese was hardly melted , a small bbq chicken pizza and a bowl of chicken wings. The other half got a burger n chips. It was fine nothing flash but it was the atmosphere which totally let it down. Waited five mins at the door , no queue at all but no one came so we walked in and after a search found a table which was empty but piled with glasses. We sat for 10 minutes then decided to move them ourselves as we had already ordered by the app. The food arrived tho our table hadn't been cleaned as they claim so I used a napkin to wipe it down. In these times where measures are in place this is not good. The place was packed ,did not feel as tho distancing measures had been put in place as well as they should have been. Tables were not being cleared and there were a few with glasses piled up so clearly the drinkers had been sat there for some hours. I've eaten in here a few times but never while so busy and I understand it will be because of the offer but having to sit and try to eat in such an over crowded place full of loud leary drunks yelling at each other to be heard, one in particular constantly clearing his throat like some farm yard animal was enough to make us eat up and leave. I actually contacted them via the online form regarding the cleanliness only to have a very abrupt email back saying I should have taken it up with the manager and they are not entertaining the complaint. Could hardly spot a member of staff never mind a manager. They have now opened up an outside are in a very unwelcoming side alley way surrounded by ugly fence panels no doubt to squeeze more customers in. In times where social distancing and safety measures are meant to be of the most importance this place is a a sham

Visited on passing. Popped in for one drink but the atmosphere (Sunday afternoon) was good we stayed for a few. Quite lively and relaxed. Very clean - staff cleaning everything down often. Every staff member smiled as they walked by. Cheap drinks and quick services.All covid-19 measures in place and adhered too.Will definitely pop back and try the food too!

I going into this pub on my own to have a drink which is fine but Sunday the 1st of March I took my partner and her granddaughter for lunch and it wasn't nice but we all have bad days and spoke to the manager so we thought we would give it a second chance and came in today the 8the we stepped out and I left my jacket so our drinks would be safe but on our return we saw the manager putting his fingers in our drinks to takeaway my partner challenge him but he did not say anything for a manager or weatherspoons is so bad won't return here again

Nasty old tables and the worst seats ever imaginable. I have sat on more comfortable tree trunks. The seats here, appear to have been designed with the single intention, of causing the most severe discomfort, leading to potential paralysis. After a short time sitting, numb buttocks set in. This is followed by upper leg numbness and eventually lower leg numbness with added spinal complications.Our Christmas dinners didn't fair much better. The Turkey was strangely round and accompanied by dried up microwaved mashed potatoes, that looked and tasted like they were suffering from the same numbness as my bottom. The whole thing was a poor affair, compared to the Christmas lunches that they used to do and the price was much higher. The guest beers, whilst having good flavour, as usual lacked body, which led them to become as flat as a witches proverbials, after the first mouthful.The only good points were the ability to order on their app, without having to get up and down to go and queue at the bar and the pub staff, who were pleasant, attentive and quick with their service. I wonder why any of us bother to waste our time writing reviews or why Wetherspoon's bother to display the TripAdvisor logo; as it would appear that no one in authority in the pub chain, bothers to read them and take action with regard to complaints, where appropriate. I get the impression that Mr. Martin is striving to join the exclusive "billionaires" club and that money now means more to him, that providing the very best for his customers.

Food was terrible pizza was burnt and my pizza not cooked and to top it off the chicken was very dry. You need a new chef

Friday 3:00p.m. Walked through blue filled atmosphere on entry. Spent 5 minutes trying to find 2 two seats which were nearly just clean enough to sit on. Then to be told pub had, not for the first time, no red house wine, either in bottle or pump. Left in despair. Ahaaa!

Our cheap local Great price but could now do with a refurb, hate the smoking at the entrance though. Food is ok, depends what you get. If your not a daily regular don't expect any warm welcome from staff and not to be served straight away

Love this pub.... However of late it seems to be that even though they have a smoking area nobody uses this. As a non smoker, l really don't have any issues with what people smoke either cigarettes or pipes/e cigarettes but l would rather that l did not have to walk through the smoke to get into the bar.This is my local and don't want to go elsewhere but can't get in to bar.... Smoke-free entrance

Come here regular , came today , Saturday afternoon , ordered 2 12oz steaks , they were actually cooked like we asked for but the actual steak was terrible , full of fat and very tough , didn’t get a check back as we only saw one young waiter serving food the whole time we were there , the place was a mess with dirty tables everywhere as he didn’t get a chance to clean them , very disappointing visit

Been going to weather spoons for years and never ever had a complaint but been for tea earlier and I cannot say how disappointed I am . My daughter got Nuggets mash and beans the mash I'm not even sure was potato from a microwaved square pot plopped on the plate with beans that had been under a light 20 mins dry as anything ..I had a wrap and had t search for the chicken in it Southern fried is not the same as dry crispy and burnt with the lettuce thrown from the other end of the room ..the chips on all of our meals looked like they too had been sat under a light 20 mins ... Took my daughter to the toilet and they have no care for decor ..threadbare carpet up stairs doors that the varnish has worn off window cill cracked at the top of the stairs and the toilets need a deep clean the company needs to get some mystery diners in to see the disgrace I won't be returning unless something is done sorry you've lost my custom

A vast improvement on last visit. Lights up, air conditioning warm, and beer I could taste, instead of having my tonsils deep frozen.Food was good too.

We regularly eat in Wetherspoons pubs at various locations and especially when we were away on holiday as we know it's always good value. However, we always say that our local serves the best cooked food from the menu.The pub itself could do with a refurb and new furniture (more comfy tub chairs) but that doesn't stop us returning nor many other regulars.Staff are always friendly, efficient and hard working.

Came for a family meal Sunday before Christmas, food was lovely and service was excellent, our every need was accommodated for. Prices extremely reasonable too! Would definitely recommend :)

We called in for a few drinks for the first time in a while and decided to have a bite to eat, at the same time. I wasn't impressed by the "Chicken Night" menu and the main menu lacked inspiration. In the end we plumped for the good old faithful beef burger and chips. The burger was well charred when it arrived, though I didn't mind that. Whilst tasty enough, the minute amount of onion and thin sliver of tomato, didn't do much to impress. The accompanying chips were just about warm and tasted as though the cooking oil needed changing. Considering the price increases over the last two years, the standards appear to be lagging well behind.Last time, I criticised the dingy decor and lack of comfortable seating. It is sad to say that this hasn't improved at all. If anything, it has got worse, as the few leather sofas that were there previously, have gone, leaving either straight backed chairs or bucket seats. Tim Martin would do much better removing his nose from the political basket and concentrating his efforts on ensuring that all his pubs are in tip top condition and that the quality of beer and food on offer is second to none, whilst keeping prices at the sort of level representing excellent value for money; for which his pub chain became so rightly renowned.On the positive side, I have to praise the staff, who provided excellent service all night and made us feel most welcome.

Dropped in for breakfast. Decor wise it’s not the best Wetherspoon I’ve ever seen but food and service was above average for the brand.

I and my husband visited on Monday for a breakfast. We ordered a coffee first 99p each and UNLIMITED refills of your choice, amazing. The breakfasts were both medium and only 3.40. Bacon, beans, 2 hash browns, sausage and a fried egg and toast. More than enough on the plate, served fresh and hot. Really set us up for the day!! Service excellent too, and a nice atmoshpere, clean and pleasant venue. Many thanks!!
