Costa Coffee in Sunderland

Didn't have food today just a drink but usually have toasties or cakes and would highly recommend them

£10 for hot chocolate and coffee and they both freezing!

Always great service here , the caramel frappes are the usual and never any complaints, staff always serve with a smile and that's how it should be

Nice little coffee shop. Not the cheapest for coffee but it's nice. Plenty of seating and friendly staff.

Sat outside in the sun for a coffee pleasant.

Coffee and a snack. Wasn't too busy, and I was served pretty quickly.

When this opened, the food was fresh and service was top notch. Now, food is stale, the place is a mess and sloppy. Needs more of those dinky couches. Would be nice to have fresh food that is healthy.

Good selection of food and cakes staff are good service was quick car park does get busy due to McDonald's

We took a friend to Moto Washington Southbound services as she was staying at the Travelodge prior to getting a coach at 5am tomorrow.I was very concerned about her getting to the coach.Mark helped us to order coffees tea and hot rolls and served us very cheerfully,promptly and efficiently and while he was clearing a table,I asked him about the best way for our friend to reach the coach.He was so helpful,kind,patient and reassuring and explained everything He took time to chat for a few minutes,as the cafe was quiet He really made us feel special and very valued customers and is a credit to Costa.You are so lucky to have staff like him.Thank you

No issues but no good for celiacs as never have gluten free options so tea only for me

Always nice and clean, friendly staff and of course lovely latte. Only issue was my blackberry and apple cake had no blackberries in it. But was delicious anyhow. We go nearly every week as it's local

Drive thru is normally quick to get through and easy to use. Inside it is always clean and tidy and friendly staff. Food is good like any Costa but I come for the coffee.

First time in here since it was built. The coffee was good as it usually is in Costa,never tried the food but it was everything that you expect from a Costa store so can't see it being bad. Customer service was okay but did seem to show signs of being a bit over stretched. Its very compact inside so you do feel like your over hearing other people's conversation a bit. I'd probably advise sitting outside if the weathers good for it.

Very friendly , food below average. Menu old. Coca-Cola can do better than this. Only a single couch which seems very popular.

Costa are changing their reward system to but 10 get 1 free instead of 8 .

Got to the best Costa coffee shop I've been to. Very clean and tidy with good decor and a relaxed atmosphere. The only downside for me was the temperature inside was a little bit on the cold side, i think the air-conditioning was set to low, or maybe that was just me.

Lovely place coffee was good, but again, no muffins! They said it was because the muffins were on offer for £1.00 then I would expect them to order more muffins in? I visited about 1.30pm and there was very little choice of cake. Otherwise, the cafe is lovely and the staff are very friendly!

Like it here. Nice atmosphere. Tables don't get cleared very quickly and seats a little dirty so dropped a star for that reason.

The staff need retraining .Milk is not boiled for latte .They do have a thermometer . AND TO BOTHERED ABOUT DRIVE THROUGH . To serve foot customers

Christmas coffee was very poor not as described

It was a pain when this was being built, as it takes up more than half of McDonald's car park. However, it is a very pleasant place to sit and have a coffee and a cake. The car park has more electric vehicle charging points than disabled parking spaces, which is not very considerate. There are a couple of tables outside for those brighter, warmer days. Inside, there is a water refill station and plenty of comfortable seating. There is the usual selection of Costa food products and a drive thru for people on the go.

The guys at costa are so lovely and friendly. Their coffees are spot on and service is the best. Super helpful. Will return.

My first visit to this one. Lively staff and very modern shop. Will be back.
