Excellent cafe, bar , gallery, and performance space

The food and service was generally quite good but beware, this can be a very noisy restaurant at peak times. It was hard having a conversation with your dining companions even sat on the other side of your same table. Also, we had two different wines, both were sadly disappointing.

Best Beef Chow Mein ever, I swear there was a full cow in it. My friend ordered House Special Chow Mein and she was convinced there was a whole zoo in hers.

Lovely little gem of a place, great staff, nice treats, nice place to linger, especially when the sun is shining.

Our first time here, very impressed. Friendly and helpful people working here, we had pate then cottage pie finishing off with the apple and raspberry crumble. All delicious, presented perfectly and the single portions of cottage pie in square cast iron skillets was areally nice touch. We will definitely be back.

Nice pub friendly staff but no milk for tea with my dinner steak and ale pie was not good crust very hard was it re heated in days gone by the pie would have been oven heated with a floating crust but now every one gets a microwaved generic pie done to a price don't like complaining but it is what it is
