The worst two Haddock and chips we have had from here. Whilst the chips were adequate, the fish was watery, mushy and thoroughly horrible in undercooked, soggy batter. I don't know if the personnel have changed but this offering was definitely substandard. It still seems that if you go into the shop, you get decent food but for some mysterious reason, get the food delivered and it is a different story. Sorry but this time is the last time. There is nothing worse than looking forward to something, then being disappointed.

There is nothing more disappointing, than when you have been looking forward to something and the end result, doesn't live up to expectations. By choice, we prefer Haddock but they do not do large Haddock and quite often don't have the regular size available. We therefore opted for the large Cod. The fish was quite flat and seemed to be a normal sized fish with an extra piece added, rather than a single large fish. It was a far cry from the thick meaty fish, we have had from many other establishmments. The chips were plentiful but very insipid and anemic. I get the impression that if you go to the shop, the food you get is much better than what you get, if you order from @JustEat. We have tried both methods, on a number of occasions and the online product always seems to be worse than the shop bought. Quality and consistency need to be paramount, when there are many competitors in the same market. You cannot afford to let standards slip and they clearly appear to be doing so.

Lovely thick white cod which you could eat all of, nothing left. Lovely chips and all of it was lovely and hot. Rang the shop up to thank them for a lovely meal :)

Fantastic and cooked to order. Real fish too, not found often in the majority of chippies in this area. Highly recommend

We had Haddock and chips for three. They were straight out of the pan and deliciously fresh and tasty. We believe it is better to get them yourself from the shop and drive home, where possible. The end product always seems to be better than having it delivered. Shame the card machine appears to have been bust for some time.

Went to martinos seaburn with my family and the owners we obviously in walking around dressed like scruffs and pulling the staff aside every 2 minutes! Staff were doing a great job but the owners made us and other feel uncomfortable the way they were going on. Put us right off and will never be back. Food was spot on just owners thinking they are big time dressed like drug dealers

Visited Keel Tavern for lunch over the weekend. The place is stylish and feels very upmarket. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I ordered the pie, chips and peas. There were a variety of pies but I opted for the mince, Guinness and onion pie. The pie was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour and complimented nicely with the gravy that accompanied the meal. The chips were tasty and the peas were fresh. This place is certainly worth a visit, meals were well priced for what you get and very filling.

We visited on a Friday evening for food before seeing a show at the empire, the atmosphere was great and the staff were extremely friendly! We had 4 meals and all the food was red hot, delicious and very good portion sizes , my husband left his glasses on the table that evening, I rang back and they confirmed they were there and with us being a 3hr drive away, they offered to post them out to us! Absolutely amazing service, I would not hesitate to return next time we are in Sunderland

The whipped large ice creams in plain cones were tasteless & in my opinion overpriced due to this. I’d not recommend it for a whipped ice cream. Save your money. There are better quality ice creams in and around for £2.50.
