Dillons Fish Inn in Sunderland

Ordered over phone go a order number and told me it would be about 30mins b4 I could pick up which is fine but got there about 10mins early waited about 30mins my number hadn’t been called out but several others above my number had been called so I asked a staff member and they couldn’t find me order, I showed them the time I order which by now was over a hour just for them to say they was nothing they could do and I had to order again and wait in a 30+ minute que. I just walked out at this point, went to golden fry at the top of Fencehouses and got better service, didn’t wait long, had a chat with them and even got a freeby on my order

The food was horrible my daughter is Algeria to garlic and it was poured all over the kaaba what was wrapped in paper tottle horrible we could nt eat the food

Really good deal on the Pizzas. They were alot better than our other local Pizza place. Piping hot. Definitely go there again. 👍 Went last night....Tuesday, and I have to say it, I won't be going here on a Tuesday again. Pizzas were wrong, dry & the kebab wasn't what I'd asked for. 😵

Asked for 2 twelve inch pizzas was given 10 inch and told it was my fault as i payed for 10 inch after being told the price not happy

Not ordering again ordered garlic got none pitta breads was hard the red cabbage had not been drained the salad was squeezed into a small box and the kebab meat was awefull I have been in catering 38 year and whoever you have working in the kitchen they need a refresher course on presentation not worth the money at all

Great place . Staff on the phone are brilliant, especially the young lad. Staff are so helpful and customer services skills are 10/10 what is lovely to see and experience. So thank you phone staff. Food is always 10/10 ,spot on. Amazing garlic and chilli, kebabs are tasty and portions are fantastic. Red cabbage is the best, just wish the picked the white cabbage like the red :) . Delivery is always fast. Drivers are friendly. Highly recommend this place. its now my go to when I order a pizza shop . Great job guys. :)

I got a garlic bread and it was absolutely DISGUSTING, this used to be our everytime takeout but it’s completely gone downhill, no garlic taste and cheese was none existent it was burnt dry and just absolutely disgusting, wouldn’t feed this food to my dog!!

Mixed kebab perfect big portion and quality of the chicken tikka spot on. They normally put it all together which ends up a bit messy but I asked for everything separate and it wasn't a problem. All the staff are totaly friendly and the young lad who serves is spot on and nothing is a problem for him. Personally I highly recommend.

If could give the food 0 Stars i would, ive been here on 2 separate occasions now and both times after eating from here have been ill and thrown up not just me absolute waste of money

Had a 14" garlic bread with cheese, absolutely atrocious for the money I spent on it . No cheese hardly any taste of garlic .. dry..overcooked..since when have they been thin, I've always known them to be thick . I know there are cut backs but come on for the price, get your finger out, if you go to buy 1 my advice is "AVOID"

Ordered over £30 worth of food from here but when delivered the garlic sauce was smashed all over the bag this was delivered at 6.18. Rang straight away promised new garlic sauce would be sent out straight away stil waiting at 7.15, to then ring and manager said he just sent it out turned up at 7.26 food was freezing at this point. Rang again to complain and promised a half refund would be sent out still waiting at 9.50 rang the shop and said they sending out straight away now it’s 10.39 shop is closed and can’t get in touch with them I will be ringing tomorrow when they open. I will not be ordering again

Great value for money got lage kebab 1 of the only places that do them the old way just in paper brilliant. Keep up the good work. Staff are very friendly

Ordered food at 18.32 food arrived at 20.02 food was lukewarm and was told they have been very busy and food hadn't been sent out that long ago won't be going back.

Ordered delievery it did not turn up and shut so I couldn't ask where it was either, left it too late to order anywhere else... not happy at all

After 10 orders,, Pizza is either burnt or missing toppings on all occasions.Veg pizza tastes of pepperoni sometimes so suggests cutter isn't cleaned between orders. OH likes many dishes from here. Will order for him but I'll do a freezer dive for me

Normally love this place not much topping on both pizzas and cost £4 more , don't think I'll be back.

Fricking amazing. Here for bank holiday weekend, came 2 nights on the trott and ordered enough chilli sauce to last me back home til I'm back here on Wednesday for the nxt home game. Lamb Donner is beaut and not greasy, kiev pizza dipped in chilli sauce is a must 👌

Ordered twice from here and both times have been a massive disappointment, both times they have delivered late, food Luke warm and absolutely vile, extremely stinjy with the garlic & Chilli on their burgers. I'd rather starve than order again from here.

Brilliant place. The food is amazing and the portions are massive! In Manchester I'd normally pay double the price for the same portions.

We ordered a kebab and chips and a pizza the chips were soggy and the kebab came with no garlic sauce and the week before they forgot our chips it's a very hit and miss chip shop as we go regularly but won't be returning soon

Excellent value fish,chips and pizzas.The quality of the food is fantastic and the cleanliness of the shop is expectional.would recommend.

Do not use this takeaway for deliveries they're a complete joke. After being told half an hour for delivery it arrived an hour later and with 50% of the order missing, rang back the shop and was told the remainder would be sent straight back out. Oh no it wasn't!! (we are heading towards panto season) so another phone call made. Fresh ones being made I was told so dhillon himself would bring them out, to cut this review short it was nearly 2 1/2 hours later when my order was finally in place. And no supprise no owner brought the food instead he had to hide behind one of the counter staff girls to make his appologie. Avoid like the plague!!!!
