If you’re looking for high quality food and friendly faces it’s the first place I would recommend. There’s 100% something on the menu for anyone whether you like it spicy or mild and no matter what you decide just know that it will be the best food you’ll find you a great price and always amazing quality. I’ve been eating this food since I was a kid and I’ve grew up loving it and growing up with the menu constantly evolving and becoming even more incredible each time. In short get yourself down here you won’t regret it.

Lovely little place, tried the pulled brisket burger. It was banging, burger was tasty with a nice little kick and the seasoned fries were spot on!

Superb in every way! Relaxed, yet professional and bangin tuuunes whilst you wait - we got the salad bowl with a bit of everything in. Mr McVay goes above and beyond to ensure the quality of service and food are always excellent! Friendly and inviting staff! As I’ve learned I’ve been limin (chillin) whilst waiting for me scran. Very generous portion sizes - nearly didn’t finish it but I’m too much of a pig to not! 🤣 Everyone needs to try this authentic (with some modern twists) Caribbean cuisine! Aaaand he’s opening a restaurant in August 2024 at the Sheepfolds in Sunderland. But remember he’s a Trini and NOT from Jamaica divnt get it wrong mind! 🇹🇹🤤💜🌴xxx

Picking up and dropping off cars and was late for lunch. Saw a lot of people walking down the estate with boxes of food so thought let's go and have a look ! Ordered the brisket which took a short time to prepare. Was absolutely blown away !!! Absolutely superb. Huge portion with all the trimmings. Very impressed. Been back again and ordered a sunshine bowl. Also equally fantastic. Great to find a hidden gem on tour doorstep. Great staff very friendly. Keep up the good work :)

Fantastic food and lovely staff

Ryan catered for my daughters wedding on Saturday and the food was delicious, tasty and full of flavour. The presentation was excellent, the guests were taken by surprise with the "Caribbean food" and they loved it. I would recommend Calabash Tree for any event you will not be disappointed.

Just got an order - had lunch from Cove, very tasty! Looking forward to dinner tonight as the other half of my order.

Best Caribbean food in the North East, I started with deliveries but have bought from food fairs and recently also collected from Washington. We also got the valentines day menu which was top restaurant quality and Ryan sorted me out with a bespoke delivery for my wife's birthday.
