The food was absolutely delicious.The staff were really friendly and helpful. We booked for 6.30pm and happy hour had just finished but they allowed us to still get the happy hour deal. My son couldn't finish all of his food so they very kindly put it in a take away carton for him. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. I can't fault anything as me and my son had such a lovely time. We would definitely recommend visiting. Thank you to all the staff. Rating *****plus

It was really good the food was great and the service was unbelievable the desserts were really good the staff were really helpful and kind and it deserves a five star brilliant.

Food was stunning. The serving staff were great but there was a a long time from arriving to ordering food and receiving food. Waited a very long time for drinks. However it was extremely busy and the staff were lovely and friendly and did very will under pressure. Would certainly come back. Great to see a local business doing so well.

Pre-booked food night before and restaurant was ready for us, served food quickly and efficiently. Food was plentiful and very tasty (had the mixed meat) only downside beef a bit chewy bit otherwise perfect. The side room was lacking in atmosphere thou. Would definitely recommend 👌

The restaurant has a lovely decor and the staff were very friendly and attentive. It was a little quiet on the day we visited. The menu was an excellent read and raised expectations, however, I personally, felt the food didn't live up to the expectations. I would add that other people in the group were more satisfied.

A party of 4 for the Steak Night. We were all really pleased with our steak meals, good options on the menu, generous portion of chunky chips! Nice to be able to choose dessert from any of those listed on the main menu too. Service really efficient and very friendly and a great atmosphere.

I visited with my son and it was about 16.45 so it was quite quiet at the time, but the staff where very helpful and when the starter we requested was off the menu, the manager made an alternative suggestion which was delicious

Booked a table for 9 to celebrate my son's 30th birthday and I'm so glad we did! Nothing was a problem for the staff, they were so friendly and helpful at every step of the way. We were able to take decorations for the table (which we dropped off earlier in the day and they arranged for us), and also take our own birthday cake. They provided us with plates and cutlery for the cake too, even though they have a desert menu. The food was beautiful, we pre-ordered as we were a large group. Everyone enjoyed their food, which was tasty, hot and plentiful. The staff were so friendly I can't fault a single thing. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

Recently renovated, it offers unusual dishes around here. The squid needs to be improved, too hard. Abundant dishes, taking care of the presentation. Very professional waiters

We had the pleasure of having Afternoon Tea at The Biddick today. On entering, we were greeted by a very pleasant member of staff called Jenna. Both the bar and restaurant were furnished to a very high standard and were immaculately clean. The Afternoon Tea was amazing - far more than we had expected, and the quality was excellent - all made by the chef at the restaurant. There was a good variety of sandwiches, two types of scone (with lashings of jam and cream) plus an amazing selection of sweet dishes - sticky toffee pudding, Apple pie with caramel topping and a large chocolate brownie with garnish that was the best we have ever had. There also several macaroons to finish off! All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, with Jenna making sure that everything was to our liking. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Lorenzo, who also was very friendly. We fully intend to return!

One of the best restaurants in Washington village! A true hidden gem! The cocktails are really unique, taste amazing and you know you're getting your moneys worth with the happy hour 2 for £15. I went in to try the new summer menu and was thoroughly impressed by the selection and quality of food! I had the cannelloni pasta and my partner had the stuffed bell pepper, they were great at catering to his allergies, felt safe to eat here and would defo come back, looking to try the steak night on a Wednesday. Also the fresh homemade tiramisu was one of the best I have ever had!

Food good, service quick for Sunday lunch. Varied menu. I only marked it down because there was too much gravy. Car park attached.spacious seating. Recommend.

Fabulous food, we've been twice now, once on Tuesday for the Asian night, and again on a Thursday for the Sushi night, both meals had really good sized portions. I can thoroughly recommend them.

We visited for the Asian Tapas evening, as a group of four, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. We were asked as soon as we were seated if any of us had any allergies or special dietary requirements, then we were left to make our choices from the menu. The food was excellent and plentiful and the staff were friendly and very attentive throughout the evening. We will definitely return soon.

We visited the Biddick as a party of three for the first time on an evening mid-week. It was easy to find with plenty of parking and lovely decor. We chose our food from the "January Specials" menu; three courses for the set price of £16pp and we were not disappointed - the food was excellent. For starters, my party chose the potato skins and the smoked salmon roulade. All were generously proportioned and delicious. For mains, we had beef stroganoff with rice and my wife opted for the gammon steak - delicious again and of very high quality. Desserts followed - one sticky toffee pudding and two "desserts of the day" - lemon cheesecake - wow! The service was efficient and friendly throughout. All in all, we were very impressed with the quality of the food and value for money! Highly recommended. We'll be back!

Chef was walking out end of shift as I was walking in. Decided to stay and serve me a meal. Offered to make a steak. 10/10 customer service when he didn’t need to, food was lush also!

Gorgeous food, fresh and very good quality. Attentive, pleasant, friendly staff. Elegant decor and good music.

Looks like it’s recently been refurbished. The menu has changed and the food has gone downhill. - The bao buns were stale - The calamari had a weird tendinous string which doesn’t tear. All the batter rips off when you take a bite. - The duck was fatty. The roasted sweet potato was a layered thing that was undercooked and sickly sweet. - The portion sizes are small. - The pizza is OK. Like a deep pan Pizza Hut. The piccante has no spice/heat.

Well worth a visit! The Salmon, Cod pie and Gammon & Chip were outstanding as were the starters ! We Will be back as the staff are also worthy of mention

Never been before tonight but it was my birthday and iId heard great things about the place. Got there and it was packed. The food was amazing and the guys gave me a birthday to remember. Looking forward to coming back here. Thanks for a great evening.

Had a really lovely afternoon tea today. The sandwiches were lovely, the cakes were very nice. The appearance when the afternoon tea was brought to the table was really attractive and very appetising. The only thing I did not like was the scones. They were far too big. An afternoon tea should include dainty scones.

With so much choice for Sunday Lunch these days, we very rarely go to the same place repeatedly but we'll definitely be back to The Biddick. Cracking Sunday lunch, up there with the best I've had, generous portions of high quality food, reasonably priced in beautiful surroundings. Great service A*

Had a really lovely time tonight. The food was amazing, Asian tapas deal and the service was excellent too. They offer lots of different themed nights as well which we were informed about and they sound really good. Hopefully we'll be back in the not too distant future.

The Biddick Inn made our family get together very special. The quality of the food and the friendly and professional welcome from the team made the afternoon memorable. We highly recommend The Biddick Inn for a family get together/private party. Our event was arranged remotely as we do not live in the area but Monica and her team exceeded our expectations.

What a meal! I devoured the fish pie which was amazing. Me and my Dad really enjoyed our first visit and will definitely be back. It was filling and tasty. The service was so polite and helpful - thank you ladies.

Having checked reviews for Sunday lunch nearby we narrowed it down from 3 and chose the Biddick Inn. I must say it was a grand choice. The service, ambience and the food was fantastic. Presentation and interaction of the staff was perfect. Highly recommend this for Sunday lunch. The leg of lamb was perfect.

Very impressed! Just been for a steak night birthday meal. Super happy with the service & atmosphere, We were very well attended to throughout our meal. The staff felt professional, knowledgeable, clean and well trained. Starters were either potato skins or soup. Steaks were very substantial and perfectly cooked considering our tables varied order, sauces were on point. Sides were great but I would have preferred a smaller portion of fresher roast veg (possibly Chantilly carrots, tender broccoli & baby potato) instead of the steamed veg side. House wine with the steak deal was well received. I look forward to coming back

On holiday popped in for a quick bite ,it was amazing, fresh bread, mussels in a white wine sauce ,braised beef for main absolutely stunning, inside and outside total refufb, great afternoon wine was exceptional prices were more than reasonable, can't wait to go again staff were super friendly and were more than happy for us to take some pics ...Well done !!

I’m not one to normally review or comment on restaurants, however I thought this place deserved a shout out!! The menu and food is fabulous. Service, drinks and prices equally so. We’ll worry a visit and the special nights they host are equally good. I’ve tried majority of the restaurants in the area as I work up here often, so it’s nice to find somewhere with a different menu where I can plan at least 10 more trips!! 3 of us called in for lunch today what a lovely clean fresh restaurant, there is 2 parts to the building plus outdoor seating they are also pet freindly. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and they asked was there anything more we needed help with very attentive to the customer. We were brought a warm fresh bun & butter while waiting for our main meal. We ordered our main meal of fish & chips & belly pork which was beautifully presented and very tasty we were too full to try desserts may try the next time we call back in. Prices were very reasonable for pint of Ale,latte and Tonic water.

What a lovely place to go for some food and drinks. Myself and my partner popped in with our 8 month old daughter and everything was just perfect. The staff are lovely and they managed to get a cheeky smile out of my daughter. The food was delicious and I will certainly be returning. Thank you for the fabulous service 😊

I didn't eat at the venue, just featured the bar which was very smart, clean interior with very friendly staff. Separate bar from restaurant area.

Loved the changes made. We popped in for a quick pint and toilet after a long walk. Ended up seeing the food and got a roast dinner. Good price. Good portions and the staff were extremely welcoming. We sat outside and was ideal for our stop off. After chatting with waitress we will be going back to try sushi night and tapas night soon.

Lovely too see Biddick Inn transformed inside and out. We visited this evening for the Asian tapas evening. The food was very tasty and well presented. Unfortunately it took over 30 mins for the starter to arrive and 1 hour 20 mins for our main courses to show up. The kitchen was backlogged. Great to be so busy but there must be a way to improve.
