Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, a lovely restaurant. One thing though, Roast beef could be better. Rest of the food lovely.

We went for the steak night and can't fault it. The food was delicious. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

WoW WoW we’ve just been for Sunday Lunch and it was Fantastic! You have brilliant staff and the food is delicious, we love having a meal at the Biddick Restaurant. We had family up from Birkenhead and 9 of us went to have a meal and everyone really enjoyed their meals.

Have eaten here number of times and have never been disappointed with meals from the main menue. Very good quality generous portions. Danka I hope I have spelt it correctly is very good at front of house. Very professional setting an excellent example for less experienced staff who are all exceptionally pleasant.

Only a small detail. Live singer in the back room with the doors open to restaurant where different music was playing through wall speakers. Listening to 2 different songs simultaneously. Food was delicious, well presented and hot. Everything was immaculately clean, staff where friendly and professional. I'd definitely recommend a visit thankyou

Friendly staff, very helpful with food intolerances; I noted it on the reservation and they contacted me a few days before to discuss. Food was really good. The rest of my party also enjoyed their meals.

Came for a couples mid week cheeky tea. Nice location, plenty of parking. Nice atmosphere inside and pleasantly decorated. Had starter main and dessert and all very nice. No complaints for a 3 course early bird. Will come again.

Myself and my husband visited for the first time on Saturday night. The service was so good and fast. Acknowledged soon as walked in and everyone was really helpful. There was so much choice on the menu and the food was amazing. Served piping hot too. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Group of 9 of us had a meal which we pre ordered. Food was delicious, however the service left a lot to be desired. We asked for water four times throughout meal and did not receive it at all the whole time we were there. There were glasses on table for water but told all of the jugs were being used. We had asked for desert menu. It was not brought and we had to go up to bar to ask for it twice before getting it. We ordered a Bacardi and coke, but was brought a dark rum. We had to send back. Our deposit of £45 had not been in took off bill and we were asked to ‘prove’ it had been paid. I had to get my online banking up, despite pre ordering and then knowing we would have had to pay deposit at time of booking. On leaving, 3 young waitresses stood chatting at bar, showing they had plenty of time to get the things we had asked for. Can’t fault the food, however they were out of a few deserts and service was poor.

What an excellent Sunday Lunch. Hot plates (always a great sign) carrying hot beautiful food. Every mouthful was indeed a delight. Sorry no photo ( mobile inaccessible) but we'll definitely be there next week - so I'll update with photos. A great addition of extra fresh vegetables. Honestly it was delicious. Although 'extremely' busy - our hot food was served quickly by really pleasant, friendly and very lovely staff. Looking forward to our next visit. Deserts delicious too.

Love this place, always incredible food, all staff are lovely never had a bad meal here only thing that let it down tonight was everyone got there main meals and we had to wait for one main meal which came out later than others as the chef burnt the first pizza so everyone was trying to eat slow so we could eat together as last time my parents went the same issue happened where everyone had finished there meal and then the last dish came they were waiting for came out but other than that everything is always spot on and so busy for a week day

Perfection. Great food, great service. I had the lobster ravioli - recommended by the manager. Very tasty. First visit but certainly won’t be our last. Highly recommended.

Lovely greeting, drinks ordered quickly & received very promptly. Enough time yo look at menus without being rushed. Starters were beautiful fresh ingredients. Main courses were gorgeous so tasty. It's only our second visit but we will be bk .

We've eaten here often and always receive friendly and attentive service. Only small criticism is that the male and female toilets are not quite up to scratch. For example, one of the seats in the ladies was hanging of the loo and the toilet rolls were sitting on the disposal bins rather in the holders. A little more attention to the cleaning would also be appreciated.

My friend and I had the steak deal, we were surprised to see it was £40 as we were expecting it to be £35 which is what it was in the website when I booked the day before ! However food was nice, steak wasn't the best I've ever had , as I feel it could have been better seasoned by the chef but nevertheless it was fine . Husband has the Diavola pizza which looked and tasted nice but could have had a bit more spice to it more nduja and less chicken . Included Rosé wine was a white Zinfandel and was good.. Serving staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient and the place was busy , music was a bit loud but I think we were sitting under speakers . I would recommend a visit to The Biddick Inn the general menu is very comprehensive with lots of choice but wished they still did the hanging kebabs or maybe I missed them on the menu ? Oh , I forgot we all had the caramel apple pie and it was delicious 🤤

Visited today (23.2.25) for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent and brilliant value for money. Couldn't believe how much you got including all the vegetables. Honestly can't speak highly enough of it. Staff were so friendly and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return very soon.

Forth time here and can't find any faults. We had the Sunday lunch. The food was served quickly, it was delicious and there was plenty of it. The staff were polite and friendly, and the restaurant was bright and welcoming. Don't think I'd go anywhere else xxx

Pleasant staff and atmosphere was nice. 3 of 4 of us had upset stomachs afterwards (all different types of foods), but not severe.

Had a fabulous evening celebrating a big family birthday. Staff were exceptional in looking after us, and given the size of our party (15) everyone was looked after and prompt with food and drink. We booked a buffet for 20 people in remembrance of and to celebrate the long life of my mother. We had a private space just off the main dining room, the buffet was superb in every respect: variety, presentation and of course taste! The service was excellent and everyone in our group without exception expressed how lovely it was. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and I highly recommend the bistro! Definitely 5 stars!

First time ordering a Sunday lunch for delivery and can honestly say it was the best Sunday dinner we have ever had,absolutely lush,will definitely be ordering again in the future. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted perfect. Thank you.x

Sorry to be saying this but the pub was over booked and should have refused our booking. We were in the bar area which was fine, but cold and no atmosphere, forgotten about too ☹️ had to chase for drinks order and waited over 1 hour for Sunday lunch, after chasing our order was put through again ☹️ then added to an extra pint of beer ☹️, genuine mistake but always check your bill

Great food lovely atmosphere will use again

Went for a family meal tonight before my son moves to New Zealand next week. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly & made us all feel very welcome. They have a menu with plenty of options for al tastes & the food was beautiful. The staff are excellent too. Very friendly & nothing as too much trouble. The owner came over before we left, had a chat & wished my son luck for the future & we came away happy & well fed. Will definitely be back

Great value for money for steak night! 2 steaks and 2 desserts plus a bottle of wine for £35.

We've used this pub on and off for years, so we are familiar with the place. In the last few years, it has adopted a Bistro style that works well. Drinks in the garden are enjoyable, as is the occasional meal. Last year (2023), we enjoyed our first Xmas lunch at the Biddick, which was enjoyed by our family group, so we returned for 2024. It was even better, especially the food. There was a full selection chosen with no disappointment evident. When coupled with great service, it made our festive day complete. Excellent occasion from a team that tries so hard to please, and they succeeded. An easy five stars.

Wow! Our first time visiting. Absolutely loved it. Staff so polite and attentive. Food amazing. Family of adults. Starters - potato skins which were perfect. Garlic mushrooms a big hit and mozzarella sticks a winner. Mains - fish and chips - huge, tasty and not one bone. Fresh homemade chips. 2 x Pollo crema- what can I say but definitely a winner, the tastiest sauce I’ve tried and chips to die for. Linguine fruti de mere - well the plate was cleared, beautiful and plenty of prawns and mussels. No room for pudding so coffees were a lovely end. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Great food, not small portions! Great service, reasonable prices. Friendly attentive staff. Only issue is that some of the tables for two are too close together, we had to ask to be relocated to a bigger table elsewhere in the bistro. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Absolutely lovely evening out, the food was excellent, an extensive menu that will need to be revisited often. The staff were all lovely, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They kept us informed while we were waiting for our table. All in all, a restaurant I’m looking forward to visiting again in the future.
