Had a couple of quick pints there lately , seeing the food being served to other customers and it looks amazing so me and my wife will have to drop by for a meal very soon

Excellent customer service... As a regular customer,Lani always greets us with her bubble personality and smile which lights up the bar,nothing is ever a problem which shows in her customer skills which are second to non.lani is a prime example of how working behind the bar really should be. Her hard working commitment really shows and you can see Lani really thrives on her role at Marston.

Lovely food and lovely friendly staff, made me feel very welcome, lovely atmosphere. Also a lovely place to have chill drinks on a night time.

I go here because it is where I live however, the experience has only declined since the new management took over. They are spoiling what is a family pub because they do not and make it very clear like the kids in the pub. A pub with no sports channels at all……..WOW!! Decor is starting to look tired, both male toilets have leaking urinals and do not smell nice.

Attended with my son and friends. I had the steak baguette which was nice, better than expected, cooked medium rare. My son had a pizza which was also nice - pizza oven style. The atmosphere was nice and staff were friendly

2nd time dining at this pub and not good both times. First visit we got incorrect order which is fine everyone makes mistakes. This visit again we got the wrong order but the lady did say it was her fault as selected vegetarian sausage so asked if it was OK or would I like most instead for my child's meal. Asked for normal to which was a little wait again fine. When the sausage came out I cut it up as red hot, the whole inside of the sausage was raw not cold actually pink raw meat. Luckily I checked this as feeding it to a 2 year old not good at all. Did get it refunded but my poor little one only had a corn on the cob for dinner with freezing waffles. Also feel it is pricey for what you get but the pudding was lovely.

Very friendly pub. Excellent service. Staff very friendly & efficient. I had the 8oz gammon steak which was cooked to perfection just as I like it. I did not want the gammon, I was offered 2 fried eggs bonus. Will definitely be back.

Arrived at the Teal farm to get some food and drink. The place was busy, which is a good sign and service was great. Food was outstanding and well priced.great selection of drinks also. Live band later in the evening also, followed by a complimentary curry. Absolutely worth the trip out and will be returning.

Came for food and to meet up with friends as it's our local. Draught beers are always spot on. Food is reaching new lows. 3/4 meals were missing the basics considering it's not a cheap pub now by any means. Chicken burgers missing pretty much everything advertised. Pepperoni pizza £11 came with a smattering of pulled apart pepperoni. Sent it back, same pizza re-arrived with 4 extra bits dropped on. Not sure who’s setting the standards in the kitchen but they are dreadful.

Another terrible pizza, for more than the average price in Washington. The topping only covered half of the base. Drinks are expensive and staff are clueless on offers. The chairs are ripped and horrible to sit on. I only go because it's local and my autistic daughter likes the familiarity

Lovely atmosphere, really clean pub, toilets were immaculate. The food was really nice sausage and mash and chicken kebab. The best thing is its dog friendly and was even given a couple of sausage bits for our dog.

I have been attending Teal Farm pub for years now. Myself and my family (20 of us) all absolutely love this pub for family meals. We always book ahead for a big party. On this occasion, I took my children and partner out for tea after work. This is the first time I have attended since the new managers took over the pub. I like the new menu and design, the food was a lot tastier than it used to be! I was very shocked at how nice it was and very quick serving to the table which my children appreciated. Both of my teenage children have special needs and struggle with waiting times, certain foods etc, the staff were very accommodating, they allowed me to order a bigger portion of the ‘under 5’s options’ as that’s all my daughter would eat. I highly recommend this pub to anyone and everyone. The only criticism I have - a better/bigger park outside for children or more activities linked to children so they don’t get bored. I would also suggest kids menu’s being on tables prior to parties arriving so it doesn’t cause stress to children. Overall, amazing atmosphere and experience as usual! Will be returning very soon.

I went with my Mother and Sister, and as they are dog friendly I took my Husky Apollo too. The food was lovely, I got the Mega mixed Grill, and asked for an extra plate for Apollo, which they were more than happy to provide, and halved my lunch with him, then I got a dessert and you can add extra ice cream, which again I asked for it in an extra bowl for Apollo. Soo... 1 spoilt dog later, lunch was delicious, my Mam got Scampi and chips and my Sister got the Ultimate Spicy Beef Burger, and they said ther meals were excellent too. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Totally recommend 👌

Went for a family meal, 5 of us on a Friday afternoon was really busy but the food came out within 20 minutes so we decided to stay for some drinks and really enjoyed the dj and atmosphere. Staff really friendly and chatty will definitely be back.

Came down to watch Hardwired, great pub and venue. Food was delicious (Ultimate Chicken Burger 🤤), atmosphere was great and a decent space for the band to set up in.

Staff were very helpful and pleasant, going the extra mile, thanks Rhiannon! Bar always well stocked with lots of wine to choose from.

We had a fantastic day hosting a party here after our sons christening. The buffet was perfect for what we needed and the staff were very attentative. Highly recommend!

It's gone down hill for food. I go all the time. But the food, it's got worse. I live in hope thinking it will get better as I'm local. But for last 4 or so times I've gone for food. There's been missing items on the food like no sour cream on loaded nachos. Cold food. Little things, its important. It's bad. But they are lucky it's a good community with good people. Just fix the food teal farm.

Went down as was visiting family ended up having a megamix grill and was thoroughly stuffed lovely pint of John Smith's and kids loved playing on the park will revisit again. Must just say Jordan and Courtney on the bar were amazing and really helpful 10/10

We are here every Tuesday for food and quiz and always have a fun night. The food is always lovely. the staff are super nice and we always enjoy the quiz its super fun with lots of laughs and prizes could not recommend it enough.

Visited Tuesday 9,th April 2024 lunch time you were reserving tables for quiz night, we were advised "No steaks at all in stock" no mixed grills, very poor menu didn't have what we wanted in stock even though it was not busy at all, we ordered drinks and left after we finished them and went to Wearside Farm which was not far from here we were delighted with the choice and had everything we ordered

Decided to dine here for early evening meal and drinks. Hadnt booked but clearly no need to as the pub was quiet and lacked any kind of atmosphere. Food was average, not worth the price at all with very small child size portions to be honest. House wine was surprisingly nice, the staff member behind bar who served was down to earth and efficient. Overall disappointing and not a pub/restaurant we would return to, we go out often but there are so many other better places offering much more.

Went to the quiz on a Tuesday evening. Very busy, but got served quite quick. Menu looks good but we did not eat. Standard ales - hob goblin and another. I had a couple of Guinness - very nice.

My recent visit to Teal Farm was nothing short of a nightmare. The abysmal service provided by the apathetic staff reflected a blatant disregard for the most basic principles of hospitality. It was abundantly clear that the notion of customer satisfaction was a foreign concept to them. From the moment we stepped foot in the establishment, it was evident that we were nothing more than inconveniences to the staff. Their lack of interest in ensuring a pleasant dining experience was palpable. It's as if they were actively trying to drive away customers. To add insult to injury, the manager's handling of our grievances was nothing short of abhorrent. Rather than acknowledging the glaring issues with the service, the manager opted to deflect blame and make feeble excuses, demonstrating a complete lack of accountability. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of the Teal Farm pub at all costs. Trust me when I say that subjecting yourself to such a dismal dining experience is not worth it. There are countless other establishments that value their customers and take pride in providing exceptional service - Teal Farm is certainly not one of them. To follow on, the owner shall reply to this review stating that the level of service is completely out of the norm and will be looked at, after deflecting any blame (as previously stated). However if you read previous reviews for this establishment you will see that the shocking service is throughly expected and the team have no aspirations of rectifying this at all.

Had jacket potato with prawns and a hood portion and variety of salad ingredients. Has to be one of the best value meals I have ever had in a pub at around £6. Nicely presented and the chef was happy to put the sauce seperate to the very large prawns ( as a special request) and to serve this even thoughot was after 3pm and it was officially from the lunch menu! . So much better than the Toby carvery where days earlier I was served a tiny portion of very small prawns on a bed of lettuce with a couple of pieced of cucumber and carrot with no jacket potato.... and was charged £9.29!

Took my mother for fish and chips at lunchtime. Place was empty so I was a bit dubious of how nice it would be as not visited before. Placed our order then was told they didn't have any fish but we could have scampi! No thanks, but worrying how long the scampi may have been there with the lack of customers. Not very welcoming either, manager couldn't even be bothered to life his head to say hi. You would have thought they would have been grateful for a customer. Left promptly and went to Wearside Farm instead, very busy, staff friendly and had beautiful fish and chips First time in Teal Farm and will be our last

Visited few weeks ago, 4 adults and 3 children, all adults ordered pizzas, waited hour and ten minutes for them to arrive, when I asked waitress why it took so long she said they only had one chef working, told her she should of told us before taking my money. Visited again today and before ordering I asked how long it would take and said I didn't want to wait an hour, she said it would be 20 mins maximum, 35 minutes later was told the ovens are not working and had not been working that day. SHOCKING SERVICE, what made it worse was after speaking to Shaun the manager, he told me the staff were told NOT to take any food orders, to rub salt in the wound now have to wait to get money refunded, never be back here again. Staff not interested in any criticism. Stay away from this place.

Booked a table of 8 here for 5pm three days in advance, arrived to be told they had run out of basically all the menu. This wasn’t told to us until we had sat down and settled the babies and dogs we had with us. This isn’t the first time this has happened, we booked for New Year’s Day, paid a deposit and ordered food to be then told the kitchen wouldn’t be open at that time. Wont be coming again as we’ve tried twice to eat here with no luck, all that was needed was a phone call before 5pm to let us know that the kitchen ran out of food so we could make other plans.

Noticed this lovely looking pub from the road as driving by and decided to pop in for a coffee. We were greeted by a lovely young man who was very thorough in telling us exactly what we needed to know(seating, drinks, menus). Looking at the menu which we were told was new and had some great offerings on we decided to order, food was delicious, extra sauces, very tasty. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the pub was very clean and warm as it was such a horrible day outside. I will definitely be returning as I was told they have live music on every Saturday evening and I couldn’t think of anywhere nicer to be with my family or friends.

This is our local pub, and we used to go quite regularly.... our visits are getting less frequent as it's gone downhill really badly. Most recent visit on Saturday 17th, thought I'd go and watch some of the early kick off (which should be on according to their Facebook posts - these AI created Facebook posts by the way are the absolute worst, they literally put people off going to the pub). Got there about 5 minutes after kick off, ordered my overpriced pint (£5.45 a pint, a quid more than the pubs in Washington Village...), and James Martin's Saturday kitchen was on the TV. I asked the staff and they tried to put TNT on and it wasn't working and hadn't been for a while apparently, so no premier league action, there was also only one member of staff on the bar when the pub was full with a busy baby shower going on and the landlord was more interested in moving tables around than helping his flailing bar staff. The pool table wasn't available as it was still shoved in the corner from the night before, and the 'main' tv in the bar area was switched off anyway. This is a family pub in the middle of a community that could (and used to be) so much better, most of the old regulars aren't there any more, there's no events for families. And the events that are on are ridiculous (who wants to do karaoke from 3pm - 7pm on a Thursday? Nobody apparently looking at the videos, it's like something from Phoenix Nights). Needs sorting out as it's terrible as is.

I visited pub with friends for afternoon drinks and was going to move onto another pub but felt really comfortable, good conversations with staff and looking at the menu decided to try the kebab which staff highly recommended. They were delicious and I would definitely recommend. Ended up spending the rest of the evening here as the atmosphere was good, good music and nice people.

Went into this pub at 1.15 ordered food was told the grill was off and couldn't have the steak and cheese baguette also burgers were off the menu which was fair enough so ordered the piri piri baguette and the donner kebab so was told the wait was 45mins no problem had our 1st drink which was £9.25 no problem with paying for the drink so the 45mins passed turned into 1hour so we decided to have a second drink same price then to my observation the table behind us was getting there food which were all burgers i was confused to have been told the grill was off so thought our meal wouldn't be to much longer waited and waited no show by 2.55 this is well over an hour no staff came over to say that there was a delay with our meal so we finished our second drink which this time was 3.20 gave up in the end went to the bar to confront the lady that served us asked her what was going on and we had waited far to long to be told that they were just cooking our meal now and I confronted her about the people behind us about the grill to be told nothing she couldn't look me in the face clearly she knew these people were either family friends and got star treatment definitely won't be stepping foot in this pub again absolutely shocking service.

Ordered an Apple Pie. 25 mins passed. Didn't arrive. Chased up the order. Was told 3 more mins. Waited again. Then was told 5 more mins. Got a refund as needed to leave for an appointment. Don't come here unless you want a long wait to be served.

Stumbled on this pub while walking dog, staff are absolutely lovely and friendly. The food: really good pub grub well cooked and quality ingredients so tasty. And to top it off clean fresh and tidying inside

We booked lunch for the four of us at 12.30pm. We ordered our meals - 3 Hunters Chicken and 1 Mac & Cheese at 12.40pm. We also ordered drinks which we purchased at 12.40pm. We had to wait several minutes to order the meal and drinks as there was only one girl serving, she said she was working alone. Having said that, there were only about 12 customers in the building. We waited 50 minutes for our meals. In that time we saw 2 customers leave as they were sick of waiting. It’s the first time I’ve ever been out for a meal where no one came during the meal to ask if everything was OK. By the time we finished our meal we were afraid to order a desert in case there was another long wait as we had to pick the grandchildren up from school at 3.20pm. I don’t think I’ll be returning anytime in the near future. The Hunters Chicken wasn’t really much to write home about and the little salad on the side was very poor. My friend did enjoy the Mac & Cheese though.

Visted here on 11th February, the service leaves a lot to be desired, place wasn’t full, told it would be half an hour wait for food, so ordered food for four adults and three children. We actually waited 1hour 15mins ! The children were patient but this would try the patients of a saint. Food came out 15mins apart, so half of us were finished, before the rest of the party's food came out. I don’t think we will be visiting here again.

Went for a relaxing drink after a busy week of work and left after 5 minutes! Music blasting couldn’t hear yourself think, kids running wild whilst parents totally oblivious puffing on their vapes! Oh and before you get through the door you have to fight your way through the weed smokers!! Gone down hill big time!!!

Worse Xmas EVER no breakfast with Santa no Xmas Xmas kids disco ,tree outside was that small you couldn’t see it ,outside lights so random affected youre eyes ,shocking

We visited as a large family group on Christmas Eve and we were extremely impressed. Quality , quantity and value were all first rate. Really got our Christmas off to an amazing start. Thankyou.

We rang ahead, and we're welcome to stay in CP in our moho. The food was good, the dog was welcome and the CP level for the van. Only knocked a star off coz personally don't like TV in pubs and I've never seen do many so big in one building. The booths where you could escape the football were very busy- says it all. Would definitely visit again. Oh and bonus of live music after whatever the football was

Takes 2 hours to dine here. The staff have to be told you’re ready for your main after a starter and the mains take an hour to come out. 3 of 4 meals came out together and mine came when everyone was already half finished when I ordered on the same ticket. BBQ pizza should be renamed the sweet vinegar pizza. Food took so long from start to finish in the 2 hours we were here that the kitchen closed when we were ready for dessert

Came for tea. My wife got curry, had no rice, and gave chips. Fine, but then ordered 2 kids, brownie, and ice cream. Only 1 brownie. So, I asked to split an adults chocolate cake into 2 but couldn't do that and had to pay...

Booked our xmas lunch a month ago. We were kept up to date by Lindsay throughout the month. On the day, the staff were amazing, the food was excellent and the atmosphere in the pub was very friendly. Thanks to all for making our day one to remember.

Came in tonight and was told there was only cheese pie to choose from off the whole pie menu which was bizarre..so l had to settle for the burger which was bang average to be honest

We regularly come here on a Thursday ( steak night) 2 rumps with chips, peas onion ring, tomatoes, mushrooms plus a drink from the selection ( for 2 people ) £23..... really good value. Service from Ben and a new waiter, as always, was great...

What an amazing person Dillon is. I work for a company that has assessors visiting properties in this area , one of our assessor was stranded having locked herself out of the property , due to faulty lock leaving her with no phone or car...

Didn't have food. Went with a group of work colleagues to celebrate one of them getting promoted and leaving our office. Service was top notch from the bar staff. You can have drinks only or have a meal. They cater for parties also. Someone was celebrating their 70th birthday with family and friends in a quiet corner of the restaurant. Music is by way of a paid jukebox, selection of songs was very varied. There was also a pool table. Definitely recommended place to go for a get together.
