I've visited this establishment a number of times for personal engagements and for work purposes since Ian and Gemma opened up in June. As a support worker for people with complex needs and learning difficulties, I'm always looking for places to take the people I support, for food and drinks. It's important to take them places that are fully inclusive and will go above and beyond for their customers. This is the place. Nothing is too much, so much as to even consider purchasing certain furniture to accommodate the person I was supporting, on his next visit. I'll continue to bring the people I support here, they enjoy the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and their every need met. Well done guys!!

One of the best chicken parmesans I've had in a long time! Proper chicken breast and breadcrumbs not the cheap awful orange stuff. Choice of fries or home chips, went for the homemade and they were more like wedges but I'm not complaining they were flavoursome and fluffy 😌 very happy. Only negative is i feel salad should be offered as standard with the parmo not as a choice of side. Apart from that, very happy.

Hungry and short on time and choices, we ended up at TGI Friday's. We ordered multiple appetizers: mozzarella sticks, Jack Daniel's chicken strips, nachos, and potato skins. The only thing that was even marginally acceptable was the chicken strips. The mozzarella sticks were laughably bad—tubular air pockets with the smallest amount of cheese you've ever seen. Less than a quarter of the innards were mozzarella; the rest was just air and breadcrumbs. I'd compare them to the cheapest supermarket "party food" equivalent, but that would be insulting to the supermarket version. They were so bad we had to request them to be taken off the menu after showing them to Management. As for the nachos, you might as well take out the cheese from the list of ingredients. I found barely any, and what I did find wasn't melted—just warmed and still in its grated form. Potato skins were average to poor. The only redeeming thing about this place was the staff. As a company, TGI Fridays should be embarrassed by what they offer. Shrinkflation and greed should be additional menu items, as that's what they seem to be catering to. We've infrequently been to TGI Fridays over the years, I'll admit. But we always saw it as a viable option. But never again. That was the last time we ever visit the brand. Vote with your wallet. Don't accept insane prices for poor-quality food and portions. EDIT: TGI's have gone into administration, rubbish food at insane prices - Who could foresee that one happening.

Complained about a drink and got told I don’t know anything about wine by the manager. Didn’t get offered any exchange or alternative, and then got told I couldn’t have tried it beforehand as I ‘ wouldn’t take a bite of a sandwich at Greggs and put it back on the shelf’ . So I had no choice but to either drink an awful wine or not buy it in the first place apparently. S*** service. No offence to the girls at the bar this is directed to the manager 👍🏻,

Our 2nd visit to this Excellent pub, they do 2 for £15 even on a Friday night where lots of pubs are Monday to Thursday only. They have 3 or 4 flavour thatchers on draught that I can't find anywhere else. Warm and welcoming. As a party of 4 we sat in the corner out the way and ordered food and a couple of drinks.... Very reasonable prices. The lad came over 20mins ahead of time to let us know the child in the group had to leave so no rushing about. Definitely somewhere we will be returning to. I would say the car park seems small for the size of the pub and you would expect parking issues but we have never had a problem getting parked.
