Only discovered this place by accident. An oasis, with great food and drinks 👌

Absolute gem of a place in Billingham, hidden away in Belasis Park. Had the Kitchen special fry up (asked for fried bread instead of toast and it was delicious) and a bacon butty, with a latte and pot of tea for 14 quid! They were making steak pies and parmos for lunch, which looked absolutely amazing but was stuffed from the fry up! Shall definitely be back!

Great little place, lots of choice and friendly staff

Called in here with my dog whilst waiting for my motorhome to be serviced at the North East Fiat dealership (1 mile walk away - all walk by pavement - so safe). Very nice for a coffee and dog friendly and clean etc. There looked to be nice cakes and constant stream of workers coming in for breakfast sandwiches and coffees.

Really tasty breakfast food and nothing is to much trouble, whenever am in the area, I can’t recommend this cafe enough. 10/10

Lovely food and friendly staff who put themselves out for you. My mam doesn't have a big appetite so the staff cater for her. Cherry bakewell tart is to die for 😋

Little Gem of a cafe, food great and service second to none

We ordered take out food for a meeting held nearby. The guy delivered it to us and the food was amazing.

We went to cafe Bela and talked to the chef for his recommendations for a light lunch and coffee , he recommended a blood pudding and mushroom quiche and a americano coffee , both were excellent , nice cafe with plenty of places to park

Excellent. Staff ever so welcoming and delivered our orders with no problems to our seating on outside tables

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Staff are beyond helpful and nice. The food is top class. How anyone can make a scotch egg that makes your eyes roll is beyond me, delicious. Try it once, treat yourself, you will only go again and again.

Gluten Free.. Great gluten free brunch made to specification by friendly, understanding staff.. You rarely get service like that everywhere, went head over heels to fill my needs and tum ..recommend for celiac sufferers..

Iv been popping into cafe bela since February & am always greeted with friendly service. The food is freshly cooked to order & there’s always a good variety of daily specials. Breakfast is fab if anything too big, it’s always clean & I would definitely recommend.

I've been several times in the past few months to Cafe Bela. The food never disappoints. Breakfast is always fantastic and the lunches are lovely. Great variety in food and all cooked fresh to order. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere with friendly staff and great fresh home cooking.

Called in last week for lunch, having twice been for breakfast using a voucher on both occasions the breakfast was excellent However we were very disappointed with lunch, in particular the chips were dark brown and un-eatable, perhaps we were just unlucky with our choice of meal.

Friendly staff, excellent selection of high quality food and drinks. I haven't sampled their off site catering but I'm told by those who have, it is superb.

Listed on web as being open today - Dec 28th. Made plans to meet up there only to find it closed. Not pleased.

We came here for the first time using a Groupon voucher. Don't be fooled by the location and the exterior of the cafe, it's lovely and friendly inside the food is great. Even the though we were using a Groupon voucher the food was of good quality, not greasy and plenty to eat. So much so we couldn't eat it all. Having viewed the menu, even without a Groupon voucher, the prices were very reasonable. The staff/owner were very nice too and gave us advice with regards to dog walks nearby. Will definately be back again, thank you very much!!!!!

Lovely staff who let us go in with our dog as so cold and windy outside. Very clean with smart decor. A previous post commented that it was expensive as they had a monopoly on the area but I thought £8.50 for a large bacon bap, scrambled egg on toast (2 slices) and 2 pots of tea was very reasonable. I've paid more than that for takeout before.

Called in last week for coffee and sausage sandwich with my husband and daughter as our son was in the area. What can one say? APPALLING. Work surface behind the service counters not wiped clean after use. Coffee and hot chocolate not only cold but just coloured water. Bread bun clearly not fresh and sausages not cooked enough. No smell of cooking so must of been done by microwave. The staff were friendly enough but, had no idea how to use the till and then the waitress served us with dirty trousers and pinny. Walked out without finishing meal. Do not make the effort stay away.

Food ok,but on my visit with friends we found the canteen to be uncomfortably cold.

Great place. Friendly staff, food was delicious (huge portion!). Only minor gripe is the price, which is very high but that's down to this place being the only cafe in the area. Great lasagne though :)

Coffee is £1.60 and was ok. Food looked and smelled good. They seem busy ish at lunch and seemingly overwhelmed as no one acknowledged me at all for quite a time. The cafe is well presented with wifi and loads of plugs and a TVs is mounted on the wall. Outside seats are available too. The female manager told me I should ask before taking photos and or writing a review so I reassured her I was harmless. A lovely place needing work on there people skills with what looked like home cooked food and average prices. I will try it again if she lets me in.

Cafe Bela at Belasis Hall Tech Park, Billingham is the place you go as a last resort for lunch. if you cant be bothered to go to nearest Tesco for a sandwich. For a hot meal its going to cost you about 5 quid. etc chips beans and a pasty or pie. But the worst part of the experience is the service i don't know what it is with one of the girls behind the counter but everyone who goes there comments she is so abrupt and short with customers with a face of stone. It doesn't cost anything to smile once in a while, If you dont like working there DONT. The other ladies there are friendly and nice hence the title Friendly and Cold. Sort out your service and this may be somewhere ppl might go to more often and not as last resort.

Bought a Groupon deal for a winters afternoon tea for myself and husband- although off the beaten track well worth the visit- the staff, service and food were excellent. We could not believe the choice, value, ambience, nicely decorated clean venue and quality- all the food appeared to be home made and fresh- we will definitely call again and probably again and again when we are in the area. Check out their website you will see what we mean- anyway enough said apart from the is the first time we had ever visited this place-so enjoy!!!!!!!!

Came here for lunch at 1230 and ordered some hot food and was told it would be dropped over. After 35 minutes I was asked if I had gotten my food and it turned out my order was forgotten about. If the place was busy I would understand but only about 5 other orders were completed in that time. She did apologise, but it's not acceptable. Will not be returning.

the food here is fantastic, well cooked and presented. The staff are always happy and smiling and very welcoming. the Cafe is very clean and has a warm, friendly atmosphere. I eat here almost everyday.
