Ordered at 6pm for takeaway after an hour it never turned up I kept ringing up getting the worst excuse’s to reasons why it’s on way now etc 3 times this was at 7:45 pm . I ring up to ask reason why food never turned up then they hung up on me. This was my first order and definitely my last . I rest my case I can’t give no stars so I’m being kind giving one star ⭐️. Gutted .

What a shame . This was my first trip out after lockdown . I took my daughter for lunch . The Houmous starter was average . The tagliatelle was okay but very basic and the garlic bread like a brick . We had to keep waving for service. All the staff were miserable. Asked if everything was okay as we paid . I fedback on the bread , no apology just ‘I’ll let the chef know’ . £66 not cheap for poor basic food . The whole hotel needs investment. It’s tatty and tired . Cracked dirty walls , stained chairs , chipped sinks and fittings in the spa. Such a shame as it has such potential.

Went there Monday evening for the first time in over 20 years,food still fantastic and could not fault the service, chicken wings with chilli and salt lovely main meal pork curry with fried rice and chips, missus had steak chips veg and prawn cocktail to start,all very well presented and very tasty.

Kebabs are lovely 😍 reasonably priced and you get stacks of it as well ..win win !:)

Been to Ace pizza on a number of occasions, tried the pizza's, kebabs & burgers and have not been let down yet. Food is always hot and good quality 👌

Really tasty and spicy chicken kebabs and a thin base cheesy garlic bread . Really nice for a Tuesday night tea.

Server would not allow swaps on breakfast menu. Reluctant to call manager. Manager also refused swaps saying this had been stopped by head office. When told other pubs were still allowing it he said it was due to price difference between swap items. When pointed out that they were same price ( poached and fried eggs) he resorted to Head Office instruction. I subsequently checked with Head Office customer service who said they had not issued any such instruction. Swaps were at managers discretion. THE GUY WAS SIMPLY LYING

Dreadful. £4 for a bad, cold bacon sandwich and. £2 for a bad instant coffee. £6 wasted. Certainly would not recommend. Very poor.
