Billingham Constitutional Club in Stockton-on-Tees

I used to work there in the 70s 80s it was a great place to work and even pop in on my nights off. Now I'm looking to go when they have craft fairs as I have loads of jewelry. Trinket bowls and animal ornaments to sell. Please can someone tell me, as I have been told that you have them. I would just like to be informed when they will be held. Thank you Ps, back then I was called. Roslyn Elms, And used to work in the bar,and the games room upstairs.

Good sized social club with a great atmosphere. Nice selection of lagers on tap and some of the best bands and singers/duos acts in the North East.

Called in for a pint with a workmate. Good choice of beers. Two snooker tables and two freshly covered pool tables Staff very friendly amd made welcome from other members in club. Will be returning in the future

Pleasant clientele and staff. Made to feel welcome by everyone from first night we went. Bar prices very reasonable. £3 to see two turns on a Friday evening. Where else are you going to get this kind of value.

Nice place. Went at Xmas with family. Everyone is so friendly.

Had our team party here, nice Room for the function but we provided our own food atmosphere as it was a private function

we went to our sons halloween party for Billingham Synthonia. I've not marked the food as i didn't have any food. Drinks are reasonably priced too.

I have been a member of the Cons Club for 43 years and I have always enjoyed going to the club.

Me and my husband got a takeaway Sunday lunch today and was beautiful. Lots of fresh veg not frozen like some places. Meat was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming over or getting delivered again. We'll done conns club xxx

Not a member here but a very nice working mans pub .everything you ask for was done no qualms. Would recommend this club for all your needs and more .👍👍👍

Great for renting out for parties and events

Sunday lunches are not great. Hygiene issues are a big problem. People have Sunday roasts here delivered. I've seen them pick the meat up with their bare hands, zero gloves on.! Toilets are overall disgusting. Avoid

Nice place to enjoy a drink or two. Very friendly staff. Great group of people to have a good night with, No food to my knowledge.

Had snack during daytime club. Very disappointing. Very slow service. They allow customers to access the kitchen. Not hygienic.

Spent £4 entry to see a band only for the interval to take the best part of 2 hours including multiple rounds of bingo and a quiz from the jurassic period

Great atmosphere,polite staff and very pleasant friendly place. The Sunday lunches are amazing.

Recently joined this club, and would have to say it's excellent. It has a very good Sunday carvery, acts on several times a week, and a really good atmosphere. Probably the best social club in Billingham in my opinion.

Had a fantastic night out with Deja Vue topping the bill. Pie and pea supper and brilliant entertainment. The evening was excellent.

We got 3 Sunday lunches and 2 puddings. Impressed with value and quality. Food was tasty and came well prepared. Would definitely order from again.

Had Sunday lunch takeaway good value plenty of veg but Swede was hard and Yorkshire pudding were stodgy meat was nice

Good beer good staff at reasonable price

The Billingham Cons Club, probably isn't the first choice location for a wedding party. However, my mother held her party at the Cons Club, which in fact is the first ever wedding held at the venue and it can only be described as a great success. As this is the first wedding, you could expect teething issues but there was no such issues and no suggestion this was the first time organizing such an event. Everything from catering, DJ decoration were swiftly taking care of. Reducing the stress for the bride and groom. The level of care, the attention detail twinned with a general can do attitude from the staff meant that the wedding-party was taylor made exactly the way they wanted it. On the night, the ever attentive staff added in a number of little delightful extras, that no one had considered and it proved to be a lovely thoughtful touch. Let's not forget the majority of the planning took place during Covid and seen a number of set backs and issues that the staff over come with too much trouble. Their resilience ensured that the day did eventually go to plan and it couldn't of been any better. As i alluded to earlier, the Cons Club may not be your first choice but it needs your serious consideration. The level of care is second to none. Claire the manager really cares and becomes very invested in your party and will generally go above and beyond for you.This was evident throughout the planning process. The hall looked amazing on the day and couldn't ask for anything better. I'm glad my mother had her party here and its gone down as a magically evening as we celebrated their big day. Thanks Cons club.

Only visited the venue to pick up a sunday carvery,the staff are helpfull and the food is of a good standard at reasonablee price. Worth a visit for the food

There last night, night ruined as forgot my membership card and the office staff were not helpful at all. Very disappointed as was first night out since covid. On the plus side the acts were great.

I am on a Committee of6 running an over 60's club, held every other Tuesday 12-4, its clean, warm, refreshments available, staff of Social Club exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Went for a wake. Difficult to find anything decent to drink, the beer selection is dire.
