The best restaurants in Bamburgh Northumberland North East

Absolutely outstanding food and service. Been wanting to try this a while and we we’re not disappointed. The lobster roll was unreal. Unfortunately no scallops today but we will definitely try them on our return. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Lovely place to stop with the dog. Plenty of parking and nice seating to chill with a cuppa. The dog loved his doggy ice cream

This place is a totally fantastic! Do not miss out on the 'Kipper in a Bun'. I wavered, and thought to maybe have a 'Banger in a Bun' although was so glad I went with the Kipper. Perfectly cooked Kippers, Lemon mayonnaise, in a soft white roll eaten on the beach was just divine. Wife's comments were 'That was Lush!'. Great friendly service and all locally sourced delicious produce. Even the coffee was from Holly Island! All in a free car park!

Had a takeaway of cannelloni and lasagne. Am delighted to say the new (ish) owners have done a fantastic job in there with the food. Definitely recommend it

Great for a nice fish and chips

I’ve eaten here a few times and they go above and beyond to accommodate you. I have a tomato intolerance which is sometimes an issue but here they really look after me. Food is incredible and service is lovely. I’m a happy bunny 😋😋😋😋❤️❤️❤️

We had a take away meal of butter chicken & king prawn pathia with a peshwari naan bread. The food was lovely, especially the prawns. Really fresh. Good value too. Would recommend.

SO IMPRESSED. All of the staff were absolutely delightful and couldn’t do enough for you, with the warmest smiles to go with it. The atmosphere was just what you would hope for a destination country pub, and the classy but quirky decor to go with. Great range of drinks with knowledge about the local options too, and speciality cocktails! To top it off, the food matched this incredibly high standard. Huge well done to Lesley and the team. You’re running a damn good thing here.

We had a wonderful evening at this beautiful restaurant. The food ( beef cheeks) was out of this world. The staff were engaging and I actually visited twice that week and one afternoon and sampled the cocktail menu. Well worth a visit!
