The Courtyard Coffee Shop in Northumberland

Lovely cafe. My husband and I had coffees and cake. Both were delicious. The meals being served to other customers looked very good. Next time we will visit for a main meal. The cafe is dog friendly...while we were there, people brought in their dogs...seven in all.

My husband and me were staying at the Farne Lodge for one night and upon arrival we called in this lovely cafe for tea and cake. What a fantastic choice of cakes, we both had the Lemon & Blueberry cake along with teas. Delicious 😋. They open at 8am for breakfast. We both had Eggs Benedict Royale, with smoked salmon. Fantastic. The service was friendly and quick. Very reasonable prices. Definitely Recommended.

Visited here for dinner on last night of our trip to Beadnell and wish we had discovered before. The staff were lovely and the food delicious. Open for breakfast, coffee and cake. Great menu, very reasonably priced. The cakes looked fabulous, just didn’t have enough room after my penne carbonara. Licensed too.

What a lovely lunch & such a friendly staff. Wish we lived nearer as it would be a regular lunch spot. Just a shame we were too full for cake after our lunch- they looked delicious.

Found this gem last summer and had the full Englush breakfast on our last day. Absolutely excellent. Decided to bring the dog and have some tea and cakes this damp afternoon. Carrot cake and a brownie. Both really good and what a size! Very friendly and very reasonably priced too. Definitely be back for another breakfast at least!
