I have been to this cafe countless times now and love the place. I have always been made to feel comfortable and part of the family. The staff are excellent and it's always a pleasure to see the double T... Terry and Tony. Lovely coffee from Tynemouth Coffee Company and I would definitely recommend the place. Their omelettes are a delight and if you're fancying a beer, the cafe has a liquor licence ... result. Keep up the good work the Charlie Rose Team.

First time dining - on some great recommendations and it did not disappoint. As a huge fan of a Sunday roast (would consider myself an expert!) this was up there with the best. Great spot will be back to try an evening meal 🍽️

It's ok. Food was underwhelming so was a bit pricey considering. Staff were kind, good atmosphere.

The coffee was good. There’s a wide variety of pastries. The cafe was really cozy! A nice place to catch up with friends on a rainy day.

This is the second time I have had to comment on this wonderful place. I just popped in today for coffee and a toastie. What a wonderful deal they have on in there you get any coffee and your toastie for £6.50 and the toasties are to die for once you have had the toasties there you won't go anywhere else. But on top of that today their was a lad on making the coffee's called Ed and I had asked the assistant on the till for an extra hot cappuccino and it was just perfect and what i mean by that is it was lovely and hot nobody really listens when you say that and most of the time you still get a warm one 😊 Well done Ed and obviously the lady on the till as well who passed the message on. What a lovely place very enjoyable to visit I just love it

We went here with family during a very busy restaurant week, I had the baked goats cheese, it was creamy and flavourful, came with a beautiful bread. Others at the table had the gambis pil pil, it packed a punch with chilli and garlic, then we had the iberico ham and manchengo cheese croutons, melted in your mouth. The table all decided on the steak, melted like butter, probably one of the best steaks we've had. We were left with a sweet taste from the sticky toffee pudding and the brownie. Cocktails were incredible and the front of house team have our upmost respect, Amelia, Lauryn and Rosie couldn't be better hosts. Friendly, making great recommendations and attentive without being invasive. Absolutely 💯 perfect.

Nice pub. Good music (for me) playing. Went in for early light bite grub on a Friday ( 12:15 ). Room to ourself at first (start serving at 12:00) Nice young girl served us straight away. Me and wife had light bite fish and chips and gammon and chips. Pot of tea and a Latte. £17.45 (Nov 2024) Chips were home cooked chunky chips. Fish and gammon was lovely. Just got to try Sunday Dinner which I've heard is nice.

Superior local sandwich shop, excellent selection of food available at a good price. Freshly cooked hot sandwiches with quick & friendly service. Well worth visiting, just besr in mind it can be busy at lunchtimes as it is quite popular

Went with family for a Sunday lunch, AMAZING, food, prices,service, atmosphere.. all amazing. We were blown away and will most definitely be back.

Walked in to be greeted with a lovely warm welcome by 2 beautiful happy and friendly ladies(by far the best welcome I've had/seen for a while) Jessica and Sharon's welcome made our day, the service from them was excellent, always busy serving the customers as quick as possible and making sure they were happy with everything and having a bit banter aswel, making people's visits as pleasant as possible 5stars for the staff and thank yous for making our day Very nice stella on draught Amazing atmosphere Highly recommend this place Definitely will be back
