Walked in to be greeted with a lovely warm welcome by 2 beautiful happy and friendly ladies(by far the best welcome I've had/seen for a while) Jessica and Sharon's welcome made our day, the service from them was excellent, always busy serving the customers as quick as possible and making sure they were happy with everything and having a bit banter aswel, making people's visits as pleasant as possible 5stars for the staff and thank yous for making our day Very nice stella on draught Amazing atmosphere Highly recommend this place Definitely will be back

Visit Fox Hunters today approx 7ish, it was really busy... therefore, the wait for our meals was understandable. However, the scampi & chips (fries) were extremely poor quality and badly prepared! I did eat them but mentioned to the waitress how disappointed I was on the standard of the meal.... Everything seemed very slap dashed

Me and my family were served by Phil and he was great!! The food was outstanding lots of flavour and taste! We will definitely be back again! Thank you FOX HUNTERS 🦊 for the amazing service and food!!

Fantastic food and very helpful staff. I forgot to order one meal for our table, they rushed it through kitchen and sorted it for us.

Edit Just been again (October 2024) and still the same great service from Wendy and a lovely meal. ------ Great choice of food served from 11am at really good prices. Loads of seating and there are plenty of TV screens round about should you want to watch the sport. We got in just before the rush as there was a 12:30 football match showing. Loads of tables and immediate service. Wendy was especially good as a server, very attentive.

Mid afternoon so no real atmosphere.. food was good..I had ribs and chicken combo.. altho it was cooked i felt the chicken could have used a minute in the oven to crisp it as it was watery as if nuked.. that being said it tasted fine.. the corn on cob was perfect the chips were perfect and the ribs tasty with a good amount of sauce on.. my wife had the full rack and enjoyed em to the last rib.. she also donated her corn on the cob to me so a win win....

I have not been here in 10 years. This was a reply to a request for a review of somewhere I had recently visited by Google. As you see I have not frequented your establishment in many years so unable to pass opinion that is of any validity. Your response however is not going to drive me through your doors. It is both rude and childish in the extreme and hope it highlights to potential future patrons that it is not for them. Pathetic.

Very welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff.. the food is lovely too

Stopped by, passing through town, for dinner. No one at the door, so we took a table. Spent about 30 minutes there, despite staff walking by multiple times, no one spoke to us. We tried to order on the app, like the menu said, but after 2 failed attempts, we gave up and left.

Staff were very welcoming and polite but the food wasn't the best I have had. I thought the burger tasted dry and the bun. Chips were nice though.

Lovely food. Reasonably priced .service quick. Staff lovely. Will certainly go back. Good portions. I had a skillet of gammon steak pineapple. Onions chips tomoto and peas . 2 guests has fish chips and peas. Wine was cheap. Coffee lovely.

Excellent food and excellent customer service

With a good varied menu at excellent prices the food never disappoints. The staff are really friendly and very helpful.

My mum and I went for Monday lunch. Plenty of parking, short walk to entrance and the place wasn't at all busy at about 1pm. Had to search around a bit for a table as most were very high tables with the tall seats not all appropriate for a more elderly person, but we found one. Menu not very straight forward with loads of extra choices and pick 2 for this and 1 from this etc but we ended up with a 8oz sirloin steak with chips, peas, half a tomato and onions and 2 chicken skewers with salad and fries. My steak was as I'd asked for it and the chips were good. Not so keen on the onions which were very salty. My mum's chicken skewers were a bit chewy according to her. Portions were reasonable for the price and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were asked about any dietary requirements on ordering at the bar. We didn't wait long for the food but the pub wasn't exactly busy.

Lovely restaurant, beer garden, kids loved running around out there. Plenty of onsite free parking. Disabled friendly too.

Food order wrong, again! Two finishes eating before the other two meals came out. No customer service at all. Very disappointed.

Wendy the waitress was amazing, happy to help, taking photos, cleaning, service ect 5 stars. Totally good night, till the quiz come on, as seeing family we haven't seen for years, same the quiz could be just in one part of the building. Disappointed in deserts not in a glass as described (bowl instead of tall glass) , I didn't get a spoon the offered a tea spoon for my pudding then after refusing it offered a soup spoon (not the only one.

A very popular pub good for and great choice of ales and wines and to watch sports

We have just been for a meal it was delicious the service was excellent the manager served us we sat at table 26 which was a really specious table. The staff were polite and made us welcome , the pub was busy but the staff still found time to afk if everything was ok , we will definitely go back 10/10 Thank you

Enjoyed a lovely evening at the Fox Hunters with friends who took us there and what a great evening we had. Food is excellent especially the Steak and Ale Pies which is a favourite of ours. Just a warning the Pies are LARGE and delicious. Excellent value for money and more than enough to eat. Staff are friendly and very welcoming.

Food is amazing and the service is the best. Its got a great atmosphere, and the quiz is good fun also . Tv screens .

We regulars here as we always enjoy the atmosphere, but it's a big BUT.. food consistency is a big issue. One day, you will have a decent meal and the next burnt burgers with hardly any sauce. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

I love coming to this place on Sundays. The atmosphere, the food, everything is perfect! I love coming with my children, their girlfriends and my husband and we order the tastiest Sunday Roast in North Tyneside! Plus we can see Formula 1. The hospitality of all the staff and the food is unmatched. I wouldn't change this place for anything.

Sarah was really helpful, made sure my meal came out quick after we accidentally missed it from our order. Couldn’t have asked for better.

A pint of coke was £3.70 which i thought was quite expensive then when i got the pint it was half empty all because i didnt want ice and the service was shocking will not be going back

Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. It's easy enough to order food from your table online, even when ordering at the bar, it's quick service, food doesn't take long to arrive. The menu is fairly standard pub grub. Just recently added some new things to the menu, so there's a bit more of a range. Kid and dog friendly.

Cheap family-friendly pub, but everything in this place is sticky, sticky menus, sticky carpets, and sticky tables. Food was ok for the price although half the meal was lukewarm when served.

Today, me and my friends had decided to go out for some tea and we had seen at Foxhunters there was a burger deal and where we lived there’s hardly any buses and no food places near by.So we planned to travel down to foxhunters for a meal as there was good reviews.WRONG as soon as we entered the premises we got given death glares by young members of staff,we didn’t think much of it as that just might be how they look. WRONG as soon as we were about to tell them we had a booking they ask for ID, me and my friends were confused at this point because we hadn’t ordered anything yet and I replied with “no”.She then replied with in a rude tone, you need to leave as we can tell you guys are under 18.No questions asked we had left.I rang my dad to see if he could come and he said yes thank god otherwise we would’ve traveled down here for no reason.We then sat down still receiving glares at this point but we ordered food and then my dad gets a important phone call saying my brothers been rushed to hospital from football so he had to go which is reasonable.Within second the member of staff comes back over saying where is your guardian gone and I replied with “he will be back in 5 minutes” because at this point I didn’t know my brother was going to hospital.5 minutes pass the member of staff come back over and goes where is your guardian as you’s are going to have to leave and I had explained the situation but she didn’t care in the slightest and replied with your dad should know he can’t leave you’s by yourself even though we are 16 year old girls who are mature and we’re being respectful and quiet trying to enjoy a day out.I asked for a refund and got told no so she boxed our food and dropped it on the table and escorted us out the door.We were then stuck stranded in Whitley bay and had to eat our food in a bus stop while we waited 87 minutes for a bus. Honestly a joke never going back.

Made a booking online said nothing about being over 18 entered restaurant receiving dirty looks from servers got told we weren’t allowed in without a parent happily left the restaurant and waiting for gaurdian to arrive entered the restaurant again sat down and ordered food the guardian had to go to hospital after we had ordered multiple staff came over and asked where they had went we replied saying that he wouldn’t be long another member of staff came over and we had explained the situation and told us we had to get our food in a take out box and leave the premises they refused to give us a refund and we were left outside with our food with no way home in negative degree weather

Chicken wing mmm,s. Bar snack with a great price and plenty of flavours to choose from. Down day on the cooler for a good pint which wasn't great with the Greenking policy of no fresh pint. Booo humbug staff alert. Be nice your problem is a broken cooler and ours is your pint are warm. Free pint needed. #CUSTOMER SERVICE

Food was great Staff were fantastic It's a pity I sat and witnessed 4 people scam a free meal claiming there was bleach on the plate, We all knew it was a scam and that's why our meals are getting expensive because of these con artists,the staff acted so professional, Personally I would of chucked them out

Great pub where I take the family to frequently. Also work from there often for a nicer atmosphere and for the coffee which is nice. Food is good especially the burgers, no complains and never really had a bad meal. Loads of screens for the footy and WiFi provided. Staff are always nice and look after us and Cory is a top bloke.

Absolutely delicious food well worth a visit

Service was friendly and quite quick. When it's busy the service can be slow. Only had chips and cheesy garlic bread, no complaints. Had tea today, 24th March. Food was lovely, good curry sauce with the chicken strips. 18/11/23 - Had the southern fried chicken burger with fries and the hunters sauce in the fries. Thoroughly enjoyed it. .9/2/24 - Had the Hunters Chicken tonight, very good. Wendy who works at the Foxhunters is great.

First time here, and I will definitely be back! I got the chick n mix, 2 roasted scewers, waffle fries and mac n cheese. Absolutely fabulous. My mother and sister both got burgers, and they were eaten too quickly for a photo. Lovely staff, and good prices.10/10 experience.

Came for some lunch with my daughter and granddaughter on Tuesday, the barmaid was friendly while ordering drinks .We ordered food and it really was the worst pub grub ever, my steak pie was soggy pastry the mash was reheated. My daughters chichen burger had been reheated although she said the chips were nice. The barmaid came over after 2 bites in and asked if everything was OK, why don't they come over when your nearly finished and ask . Won't be going back , food disgusting.

Great value for money! Especially for big crowds or when you are trying to please the old folk - lots of options and diferent choices. Cheap food and drinks 👍

Absolute disgusting food staff were too busy talking about personal lifes and flirting with each other than bothering to serve customers. Food was diabolical freezing cold and was ignored when complained would not ever return

Had the Xmas burger with fries and have to say it was delicious. Staff are friendly and venue is warm and busy.

We were told to "stop taking the piss" by a waitress after ordering drinks on the app (which was widely advertised as an option). A member of our group also overheard the staff complaining about us ordering via the app too. Food basis food. No issues with that. The pub is fairly decorated but the toilets aren't in great condition.

Absolutely terrible food for a Xmas lunch, what a waste of money DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Turkey dinner was an absolute joke This place has gone downhill in the last year we won’t be going back

Had a Christmas meal on 5 December. The turkey lunch came swamped with gravy. The gravy should have been served separately in a gravy boat. The vegetables were almost raw and inedible. One of our party was served the wrong meal. All in all a bad experience.

The food is great and they also show the football. There are lots of screens throughout the pub which is good. We booked online beforehand to make sure we had a good spot.

In Blyth visiting family and needed somewhere for lunch. I often look for a Greene King Pub. This is a Flaming Grill and so I know what to expect menu wise. Sometimes the food can be off point but Foxhunters was bang on. The food was excellent. The staff were excellent. The service was quick. It was steak Tuesday so I had the Sirloin. Asked for medium and the chef had it perfectly medium. My wife tried the spicy steak skewer. Really tender steak was great. It was busy and I can see why. Family atmosphere and dog friendly. Great job guys. Visited again today November 27. Been a few tweakes to the menu.great Food. Quick service super friendly staff. Enjoyed Hunters Gammon skillet, excellent.

Great value for money on BOGOF burgers on a Thursday! Only down side was the Signature burgers aren't included any more! As always served quickly and efficiently by happy and helpful staff.

Great place very friendly, even though it’s a chain of pubs where generally the name is not very good. This one in particular is very well run, food is what I expected for the menu price and even better dogs are welcome.

Orderd beef lasagne, xl mixed grill and chicken strips. Plus 3 large cokes. All came to under £40. Food was served within 30 minutes and was very tasty. Can't complain will definitely be returning.

The food was lovely however the toilets leave a lot to be desired, I would suggest they be seen to. It has put me off going back.
