In Newcastle on a Sunday evening and went into Simla, as we passed by it was nearly full which we took as a great sign. It was not wrong. Lovely family run restaurant. Best Indian meal we have had. Definitely recommend the Lamb Tadka the meat was so tender. Definitely would go back the next time we are in Newcastle.
Absolutely wonderful food. Sushi is top quality, beautifully hand crafted and presented and the flavour combinations are superb. We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back for lunch the following day!
Although the host was very friendly this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I really believe I should have been paid for eating that meal and not the other way around. I truly don't understand the good reviews of this place, totally misleading.
Everything from this place is the best! My absolute favourite breakfast anywhere is the 2k breakfast. The syrup that comes with pancakes is special!
I recently tried the dipper burger which was very tasty and a great hangover cure. I have to mention the BBQ they held at twobytwo was amazing also.
The staff are so friendly and very attentive and the place has a real family feel. My number one restaurant in Newcastle.
Very Greek menu. The Greek house wine was excellent. We had a sharing platter of mixed starters for 2 between 4 of us and it made a really nice introduction. I had the charcoal grilled pork chop with chips and salad. The waitress was brilliant, really helpful. We paid £40.00 a head including a tip and quite a bit of wine. No complaints at all.

Zoe’s food is an absolute delight. It’s fresh, satisfying, has endlessly creative flavours, gorgeous to look at and too pretty not to photograph every time.
‘Veganatomy’ is my answer to the questions; ‘what would you have as your last meal’, or ‘if you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be’.
Well worth a visit!
A great addition to the Chillingham Road - very good variety of food, and good coffee. Well worth a visit for fresh and unusual food, a change from the usual, and you can tell the quality by the number of people waiting outside for their orders!
Spanish deli, Tapas restaurant and vermuteria all in one - whats not to love. The food is excellent, the vermut is excellent and youll not leave without buying something in the deli.
This place is wonderful. We found it during a Google search and decided to risk it. I couldn't be more pleased with our decision. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. My son and I had the brunch bowl and my husband had the dhal. Then we each had a different vegan dessert. How often it is that you get a choice of vegan dessert? Often there's nothing at all.
We visited at lunchtime and it was not busy. Don't miss this restaurant. It really is worth it.
I took a group of advanced motorcyclists to cafe 19 for breakfast. We were shown where to park when we arrived and greeted in an extremely warm and welcoming way.
Food service was prompt and enjoyed by all of my colleagues.
Thoroughly recommend this establishment .
