This is a wonderful oasis of calm and quality in the very heart of Newcastle. A large selection of Teas and foods served beautifully at a reasonable price. Go there , but don't tell anybody.

This place is amazing and very unique to the city. It is the only place where you can get over 100 different hand prepared teas. The cakes are delightful and the meals abundant and interesting. Ben and Rachel are great hosts and the vibes are second to none. Warm and cosy and a great place to spend time chatting with friends or reading. This is Newcastles best kept secret, go check it out! I am on there all the time, it’s a relaxing haven where you simply feel at home.

Peaceful atmosphere, great service, and excellent dishes. I went with friends for lunch and we ate vegetable dumplings and a tasty tofu soup. We sat for a while enjoying the tea - and were not hurried along to eat. The service was very good, and the people who run the place are friendly and attentive. Taking over the Tea Sutra is a hard act to follow, but this place deserves all the custom it can get for creating a fresh and peaceful atmosphere with good food and a very warm welcome.

This is quickly becoming my go to ‘cafe’ in Newcastle for so many reasons. For a start the tea menu is amazing and everything is reasonably priced and comes beautifully presented. The food is delicious too and they always have a great cake selection. I also love the complementary little bowl of fruit which is such a nice touch! The staff are so so friendly and attentive, and really care to your every need, which just elevates the whole experience. And the atmosphere is so good too, it’s the perfect place to catch up with or friend or get some work done without too many distractions. As a tea lover this place is incredible and I feel so lucky to have it on my doorstep!

My HK friends wanted to try out this place and I was not disappointed! It is a hole in the wall sort of restaurant, most people eating are locals or workers getting a quick, cheap and easy meal during

Absolutely delicious - we had an Oreo milk tea and a mango mashed taro tea. I’d highly recommend the second one as it tasted completely of mango and taro, and the texture of the taro mash is a nice co
