I've ordered a few times from oddles and their food is mindblowing. Very delicious with varieties to choose from in a compact box!! Just editing my review above. I am a regular customer here but from the past 3-4 times the food i have ordered hasn't been great. The paneer tastes stale and has given me a bad stomach a couple times. Could you please be careful about using fresh products 🥲

Didn't think much of the food quality

Really lovely place and superb staff. The food was delicious and halal. The prepare it in front of you, which is really entertaining. The prices are really good, amd you can mix up to four things in every box, so ot is really cool for sampling their menu. This is one of the best places in Newcastle to eat at.

The first time we ordered was through uber eats, I loved the taste ohh I was not expecting it would be so tasty and perfect spice. I am very picky with food so it took me 45 minutes to choose what I should get. When we got the delivery one of the bases was missing(spicy chips). I called the restaurant and explained. The manager said keep the receipt and you can get them when you visit city centre. Instead of getting spicy chips they offered us a whole box of our own choice. I would definitely get delivery or would visit this place again also would recommend to my friends.

This place is so good for fast and tasty food! They serve super generous portions - I keep getting the medium size box convinced I'm gonna be able to finish it but I can't. The staff are always friendly and you can order on your phone which is so important to me. Definitely one of the better chain noodle places.

Their food and service really amazed me! We ordered 2 large boxes of food (the Szechuan Rice is the absolute best!) and because I forgot to mention that I qualify for the student discount (10% off), they even gave us one large box and chips for free! I was really amazed by the friendliness of the two staff at the counter. We will definitely be coming back!

Gave one star because 3 out of our group of 6 had food poisoning from the noodles, the others ordered egg fried rice which was fine.

Everything was super mushy and the flavour of the sauces was totally overpowering.

The food was absolutely disgusting! I ordered a regular box with spicy chips, veg noodles, Malaysian chicken and salt and pepper chicken. VILE. Everything was cold, soggy, mushy and inedible. The spring rolls were completely burnt with no filling. What a waste of £11!! Never going back and would avoid at all costs!!

Great place for a Chinese noodles/ fried rice in town. Food is so tasty and wide varieties of dishes for value of money. The location is so convenient and nice atmosphere. I highly recommend this place . 😋

The only thing to quarrel about is the portion of food would like a little less base and more meat

in Newcastle for a couple days and noticed there was an oodles here, mind that this is my first time coming to an oodles. I was greeted upon arrival but was told the scanner was NOT working therefore I couldn’t order the value meal for 2. I was then told to use the app and do a collection. I proceeded to do that and then they didn’t have the meal deal for 2 option so I had to separately ordered everything which was annoying. I wanted to use my loyalty points for signing up but was angry I had to go outside the shop to get signal in order to do that. There was no dragon chicken so had to choose another. Good thing was all the food was freshly cooked. The order is as follows: Two regular boxes with: Szechuan rice, veggie noodles, Manchurian chicken and garlic chilli chicken. Szechuan rice, plain chips, sweet and sour chicken and salt n pepper chicken. A side of wok wings and a side of spicy chips. Unfortunately the Manchurian chicken lacked flavour badly! The garlic chilli chicken was delicious Spicy chips lovely! The Szechuan rice and veggie noodles tasted good too! There is too much base, more base than the chicken toppings which is not value for money. However, overall decent food. I just wish the Manchurian chicken was better. Overall 7/10

Very smart and clean looking restaurant. Easy to use menu where you select your food box in there stages. I really enjoyed my rice and noodles with salt and pepper chicken and it was just about the right level of spice. My two friends who also ate with me had barbecue chicken and felt it was more spice than it should have been overall. Would definitely go back and try it again.

Ordered 2 dishes through Uber Eats and when they came the food was far to overpowered with spice you could not remotely differentiate between the flavours, the food was also so compacted into such small containers that the food was a small brick. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

as a person that has health issues and shouldn’t eat spicy foods I chose all the options without a chilli mark from the menu. unfortunately I was given spicy meal covered in chilli flakes. my face got red and sweaty within seconds.

Be advised, this restaurant offers a free side for a 5 star review, which I feel explains the good reviews. Noodles were mushy and not hot, and very under seasoned. The chicken toppings I got were in small portions, and had a unnerving chemical taste (like cleaning products) so I did not finish this meal. Spring rolls were nothing special and also had a chemical aftertaste. My friends felt the same way, one chose chips and rice and said they found a chemical taste and that the chips were only just warm, the other agreed with my assessment of the noodles. Although there were condiments like a bottle of ketchup and brown sauce out, they did not have soy sauce or pepper. For the size of the portion and price, I'd say this doesn't rival many other noodle places in Newcastle. For the quality, I'd say it might actually be the worst one.

Ordered on Uber Eats. Expected much better food after reading reviews. Unfortunately we could not finish the small amount of food we recieved despite ordering; two 'large' boxes which were on the smaller side, spring rolls which were overcooked and spicey chips were inedible due to the lack of flavour but lots of spice. The box meals were dry, even the katsu curry based box. There is no option to add a side of any kind of sauce. We felt both the vegetarian and meat options were bland and lacking flavour. My husband found it hard to tell the difference between the prawns and the chicken. The egg fried rice was more like plain boiled rice. Its not often we waste food but we have actually had to order another takeaway.

Fantastic place with good portions and variety. The spicy options have a flavourful heat and aren't just mouth napalm. There was so much I had to take leftovers home!

Love this place. You walk in and are welcomed by very nice staff to place an order. You order a little box of Chinesey goodness for a few quid. You get to choose a base of rice or noodles then you choose from 2 meats, sauce or not, for the middle then you can have chips or something on top and sauce. Then you see a chef fire up a wok or 2 and prepare you meal for you. Only takes 5 minutes then your sitting down or out the door with a lovely meal that I've always left some off. Amazing idea executed perfectly. Hats off to the inventor. Keep it up and I'll keep coming back and keep recommending this place to everyone. Incase you didn't guess. I highly recommend Oodles Newcastle.

Extremely unhappy with my order that I placed via Uber Eats. Firstly, their menu forces customers to buy 2 mains, instead of simply one. That is very unusual and coercive. One main should've been around £8-9, but they're forcing people to buy two and spend around £16-18. Secondly, the portions they give are half the size of normal portions. This is dishonest and poor value. Thirdly, the dishes were badly made; the noodles and rice were dry at the bottom and middle of the container and a very small amount of sauce - which hardly contained any chicken or vegetables at all - was dumped on top of each portion. Fourthly, the spring rolls were very small and poor quality, like they'd warmed up some really cheap, frozen ones from a budget supermarket. The cost came to £26, even with a 20% discount, and that amount of money should've been enough to sufficiently feed two people, though it barely was enough for one.

I had a chance to come into Oodles and I thought the food looked quite nice with the location being in a good part of Newcastle and easily accessible to pop in from the train station, I would recommend it to others to give it a try.

The food is so delicious, and the quantity i never had these kind of best tasty food from the other restaurants. The quantity is so good we couldn’t even finish it. l’d recommend all my friends to try this and enjoy the food and best taste.

Me and my wife in for pre show food while in town and was amazed at the quality and quantity of food we were served. I Ordered a large limited sweet fire chicken meal with fried rice and spicy chips, while my wife ordered Malaysian salt and pepper chicken. and we’re not disappointed. Plenty of flavour and now a very full but content customers. Highly recommended
