My pal had a bad turn ,the staff were absolutely class in dealing with the situation. Love this place on Sunday afternoon always welcoming and class bar staff love this place .

Not a good chippy. Doesn’t feel clean inside. I was suspicious that the “fish” they served me was actually spurdog, aka shark. Very suss. Chips were very greasy, as in, grease left inside the cardboard tray. Kind of depressing, really.

I went to Costa Coffee in the queen Elizabeth hospital yesterday and I asked for a takeaway bubblegum frappe which they had on their frappe menu. I was very disappointed with this, why have something like that on the frappe menu and say they don’t make it.

I ordered a spicy donner kebab and it was very enjoyable, the delivery was quick and I will definitely be back shortly.

Best pizza place around! Top notch everytime! Great staff, great service and great food! I've only ever had one problem with the food and they rectified really quickly. Honestly can't fault this place at all.

First time here in twenty years. Thought we would give it another try . Now I know why I never went back again . Food cold and I only live about 3 minutes away And I definitely won't be going back .

Just bought some prawn toast with sauce. 4 little pieces of toast for £5 that I would feed to my dog. Won't be using this place again.

The mill house has been around under various owners , and we've been for food during all these periods, especially Sunday lunches. However , the food under the new management is off the scale. We've been for Sunday lunch in many different places but this Sunday the mill house blew them all away. I had the trio of meats which were perfectly cooked , a wide range of veg , the crispiest roast potatoes ever , a stunning Yorkshire pudding , with perfect gravy. Creamy mash and swede hidden under the meat. Delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and made our visit a joy. I've seen some bad reviews which puzzle me and ok maybe it's a couple of quid more than a lot of Sunday lunches , but you get what you pay for , and this is totally worth it. Ignore the negative reviews and give it a try. Book in advance definitely , and enjoy the food , scenery, ambience and the friendly welcome.

Got a kebab wrap couple weeks ago and ended up spending 5 nights in the Q.E hospital being treated for food poisoning

Delicious ham & cheese omelette with side salad. Work nearby, wanted a high protein lunch cos I’m doing great north run next week… This was absolutely the best choice: tasty, great value & made expertly!

Always cooked to perfection, delivered on time , even when ordered just before closing. Cannot fault them . The Sea food pizzas are the main reason we order here, but the portions of kebab meat are huge. Chips always perfect.

I must say this lovely Hotel, restaurant and bar is brilliant!! Really it’s like home from home !! Staff are amazing and super professional, food is great too, rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely always stay here and recommend this place to everyone I know.
