Got a kebab wrap couple weeks ago and ended up spending 5 nights in the Q.E hospital being treated for food poisoning

Food is the best ever but service is the worst have ordered from melanis for years and delivery is getting later each time so if going to get a delivery order from somewhere else as last three have been over two hours wating and shop very inconsiderate and don't care just tell you to wait for your cold food if you have sense avoid at all cost as either way your microwave your food

Food is amazing specially the chicken garlic rap. I love the staff and would highly recommend to go and have a try. I will say its cheap and affordable. Would come again. Gatis Vildners

First and last time ordering from this place,do yourself a favour and just order from your favourite place tonight. That's what I wish I had done now.

Waited over 2 hours for my food when it came was absolutely freezing , delivery driver said he would have to come back with the change as he had none waited a further 30 mins when I rang up about it the staff member was rude and told me the person 'isnt leaving the country with my money' then decided to put the phone down on me , won't be ordering from here again . Disgusting not to mention the food went in the bin as the chips werent cooked and kebab was disgusting

Never buy again waited 2 hours for order for it to be cold asked for money back was refused told to contact manager on the page I have read me messages never replied

Stopped here to get some bait after work, mixed wrap with chips and garlic. Wrap was literally longer than my forearm and filled with plenty meat. Worth the price and tasted amazing. Nice and friendly staff, will be back in future.

The quality of ingredients is terrible and all the food is way, way overcooked. The lamb and chicken were inedible, like old boots.

The Melanis Special Kebab was top notch. Will order again 👍

Good portions pizzas dead fresh no grease on boxes of food and came on time. Only reason for 4 is because the chips and kebab in the wrap were cheap frozen fries but still nice just not 5* food

I ordered a veggie burger it was like mush cold and fries were cold taste funny not order from there again

I literally never do reviews, would give less than 1 star if possible. Avoid. First time here, walked in asked for a simple cheese chip wrap with garlic take away… was £5.60 on card. Was expecting good quality… the small-medium sized wrap was almost warm, far from hot… cheese unmelted, chips bad, n the guy drenched it all in sauce… I shouldn’t of consumed cos it briefly made my heart n veins burn, literally. They all said “enjoy”…well I didn’t… sort your sh- out. Sad business.

Local takeaway near me. Hadn't been since it was taken over a while ago. Called in on our way home and ended up getting a 3ft long kebab wrap, (it wasn't just for me). It was split between 4 of us, very good portions, It was very tasty and not greasy like ones you might get at other takeaways. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

GREAT SERVICE NICE FOOD AND GOOD PRICES

Been coming here for years even though it’s some distance from my house but it’s changed, food isn’t what it used to be, used to love it here food was great but looking else where now, for example they now use skinny horrible chips and £3.50 for a portion it crazy, prices have also shot up but also the 10% off option on the app & web site constantly gets turned off, keep telling them it’s never on but they don’t seem to care but they keep advertising the 10% off still. Going elsewhere now unfortunately not worth the drive out of my way anymore. ☹️

Absolutely disgusting got totally wrong pizza asked for hot n spicy got a pizza with tomato base not bolognese peppers still raw refused my money back or replacement absolutely raging then he says do what you want youre not getting money back !! Disgusting taking peoples money but dont recify if the customer not happy wouldnt let me speak then hung up

Wouldn't recommend it if you want your bowels intact pizza dough was raw tasted like polyfilla (Rotten) there's a letter from my solicitor on its way with a second class stamp well because you know Andrex ain't cheap these days

One order not delivered at all, the next never accepted as they close 15 mins before advertised. What a joke. Useless! 3 star hygiene makes me think it’s a blessing is disguise but no refund by just eat anyway. AVOID!

We go every other week, and this week we noticed an extreme change in all the food, the pizza used to be unreal now the cheese just tastes cheap, the kebab was tasty now it taste like rubber, the chips have changed from nice and crispy to thin and under cooked and then the garlic sauce is just disgusting. We will be finding somewhere else from now on

Lovely people however the food is not tasty as frozen meat was used. I ordered mixed kebab 12.60 worth, I could have had something tasty for less than 5.00 somewhere else.

Order took nearly 2 hours for a garlic pizza & kebab & chips. Food was stone cold when arrived - had to reheat and no pitta with kebab. Simply not good enough considering we are 5 mins drive away!

Unfortunately won't be going back, quality and quantity gone down hill, lamb had no taste to it salad seemed stale garlic bread with mushrooms again no taste just short of £17 for a shiesh with salad n small mushroom garlic bread, very disappointed, time to go else where

I live 2mins away in a car from the place it took 1 hour and 40 mins to deliver a pizza and chips, also I ordered a waffle from there of JustEat and it didn't specify what came with it when it arrived it was stone cold and soggy as if it just got fished out of the bin a complete waste of money would not recommend going here

I ordered bait and it come with nee sauce. Everyone knows sauce doesn't compliment a meal, it makes it. So I rings up and the wife says "don't worry bossman, we're sorry bossman, next time you order bossman we hoy it in" I said nee joy I need I the nu man. "I'll send it bossman, 15 mins tops" I ring after half an hour asking where me sauce is and she puts me on to big bossman, big bossman tells little bossman he's en route. Turns oot I'm part of a hierarchy boss. He says 5 mins. Then after 45 I ring again, he's leaving now. Nee joy I says. Baits gan in the bin. Anyways, I got nee sauce.

1st time of ordering here waited over a hour for food lady on fone was lovely but after telling me food had left still 25mins for it arriving driver told me he had just picked it up a live 5 mins from shop food was ok was Luke warm fries not chips nd burgers were like rubber and salad was very stringy.

Won't be going back... the chilli has to be the worst I've ever tasted in the north east of England. the pizza ( kebab pizza) was burnt on top and absolute tasteless.. Delivery driver forgot the bottle of Coke came back 45 minutes later. Out of the whole meal deal the chips were the only thing that was nice..

It is illegal to charge customers who pay by card. 60p just to pay by card?

Always missing items from orders. 8 times I have trusted them to get it right and 8 (EIGHT) times they keep missing things off the orders I paid for. They cannot be allowed to get away with this! Do not waste your time with this place!

Avoid! Waited over an hour and a half for order, arrived luke warm at best. Food was as dry as sticks and bolognase nachos were awful.

Zero stars from me. Waited an hour and a half for delivery even though I live a 5 minute walk away. My shish kebab is definitely not lamb or even mutton for that matter. My southern friend chicken was cremated. Will be sending the kebab near to fsa for analysis.

Not sure what kind of game this place is playing but it seems to me you have to always check your order. As if you order something after 11 o'clock you wait until 12 for your delivery. As I only ordered two burgers pop and a portion of onion rings. Paid for my order. But no onion rings..so tryed calling back but they wouldn't pick up.so rang back next day only to be told that maybe next time I ordered I could ask for them.problem being I'm not a regular takeaway person I suggested that maybe they could just drop off what I'd already paid for only to be told no that wasn't possible. So guess I won't be ordering there anymore and would strongly suggest that you shouldn't either..very poor service..😡😡👎👎👎👎👎

Ordered in shop, normally quite quick but waited over 25 minutes for a burger, But even an apology........ Think I'll just use dial a pizza from now on!!!

Shocking , placed an order, waited over an hour , rang them and they said it was on it's way, waited another 40 mins , rang again to be told food not coming as we live too far away , ( our postcode is covered on their website ) . Never used this place and now never will . 2 hours wasted.
