Costa Coffee in Gateshead

I love the new decor at Costa in Next. Place looks much lighter and welcoming. Staff are exceptional. Always friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever a bother. We will be goi g back.

Ordered a flat white and an Americano. Order taken by grumpy staff, which was then unceremoniously dumped on the tray without a word. Coffee was hot. 2.5/5 for taste. Presentation 0/5. Friendliness and ambiance 1/5.

During our visit, my wife and I ordered coffee and noticed a peculiar taste, different from what we're accustomed to. Upon informing one of the staff members about our observation regarding the coffee, they promptly and kindly replaced it, demonstrating excellent customer service.

Visited Costa in Next today just to say the staff are very efficient and friendly. Big call out to Bev who was very friendly. First class well done!

The staff were super friendly & welcoming. Gave out recommendations of frappés & i can say they gave a good recommendation. Coffee is always lovely here.

Can you please retrain your staff on how to make a latte. I’ve been to three Costa’s and they just dump the shot of coffee into the milk at the end?!?!? I asked the guy to remake it and he told me you always put the coffee in last in a latte?!?!?

Not a table been cleaned not a member of staff available to clean tables customers doing it themselves never again
