Quite possibly the worst plate of food I have ever served up, straight in the bin because that has food poisoning written all over it.

Disappointing. Curry was barely warm and the spring rolls were tasteless, if I wasn't so hungry I'd have took it back. A shame as it's the first time I've tried it since it changed names. Staff did seem happy and welcoming though 🙂

Oh dear. Never again. Don’t know what the meat is in chicken dishes. I dread to think. Chips from last New Year. Identifying the meat in house special dish was a challenge. Won’t be back

The food was delicious! The sumai dumplings were divine and the special chowmein was packed with flavour. There was no skimping on the meats even in the chopsuey rolls. Can't wait to order from here again!

Fab food, quick delivery big portions. Special chow mein and special curry were lovely.

We ordered a takeaway from here recently and we couldn’t fault it. It was delicious!

Unfortunately the meal I ordered was a straight forward chicken Foo young, I have never in my life had overcooked scrambled eggs with a few bean sprouts and chicken with some peas. Foo young is supposed to be all the ingredients enclosed in a egg omelette not scrambled egg, the chicken fried rice was far to salty, and as it was for my granddaughter who was so looking forward to this, when she was apologising to me that she couldn't eat it, I felt I had to give this a review I will not be using this takeaway ever again. We've had two meals over the past few weeks from The Orient and it's been great! Really happy to have a good Chinese takeaway in our village. I hope they're able to keep up the quality. We'll be back.... 👍🏻

Always liked the Orient but of late the food has not been as good as previous. The cash only basis is a pain too.

Beautiful food, so fresh and the vegetables still had a bite to them which was great. Loved the little flower shaped carrots. Driver was lovely, would definitely recommend

Very poor meal, sensed there was nothing fresh. Bit of a waste of a building which could be better utilised as centre of village. Staff couldn't care a less

Spoke to like something you pick up on the bottom of youre shoe. Lost a regular customer today because of the way the lady who takes the orders basically called me a liar. Very very poor customer service. I hope the owner see this

Very happy with our meal. Egg foo yung was delicious as were the chicken satay and singapore vermicelli. Will visit again

Very dissapointed with the food, ordered a pizza box which was tiny and had an over powering taste of salt, we couldn't finish it as the taste was so bad. We didn't order a salt and pepper box nor did it say that it would have sale even on it, nevermind be coated it in. It's saying something when the best part about the meal is the prawn crackers. Also very over priced.

I found it overpriced & overrated. I'm from Slough & I've never had to pay £7.50 for what amounts to a regular fried rice. Also had to wait 45 mins, unheard of. This is an average price up here, down south £5.50 maximum. Ya being ripped off tbh.

First time customer of The Orient & it's our new favourite. Good menu, amazing quality & quantity food, brilliant value for money. Fast & very fresh delivery service.

Just had our first experience of The Orient , to keep it simple it definitely wont be the last, the food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend it.

Great service and really lush food. Banquet menu is great you can pick wherever you like for a set price and it is cooked to order. Great idea and not a hotplate in sight!

Ordered food for my wifes birthday and paid in advance and it took an hour and a half. Feom me keep calling to find out where the food was i was told it was with another driver. When it arrived it was absolutely stone cold and had to heat it up in the microwave. I rang them back up to tell them after many years of custom i won't be going back. My advice to anyone is don't order from them as there is many other takeaways around the area. 👎👎👎

Gorgeous tasting food and lovely atmosphere. Definitely value for money.

I paid £25.20 for disgusting food. Chips were nearly all hard a crispy and some werent cooked properly, the gravy is not chinese gravy and my chow mein noodles were not chow mein noodles at all and to top it all off what was supposed to be king prawn chicken fried rice turned up as king prawn fried rice. I would not recommend this chinese it is disgusting and will certainly not be going back here.

Just received our order me and my partner gravy and chips we're supposed tobe in the same carten and they weren't the chips are reheated the gravy is not Chinese gravy and my chicken and prawn egg fried rice turned up with no chicken in it and it was delivered to our home am not imprest and will not be ordering Chinese food from here againe

Take away last night,,,excellent, fresh crisp vegetables and lots of meats even complementary prawn crackers. I would have preferred thicker noodles but overall tasty quality food, value for money.

Firstly a sky full of stars for Guide Dog access. If you're a guide Dog owner reading this, you'll have no access issues here, dog was welcomed no questions asked. Tasty food. I've tried both taking away and eating in, and have never been disappointed. I'm no connoisseur of Chinese cuisine though, so my opinion in based solely upon whether what I ate tasted good. When eating in, the buffet was both excellent value for money, the choices were varied, and all appeared to be freshly cooked. This will be my lazy Sunday option from now on, and as most of my Sundays are lazy, I expect to be a frequent Visitor, happy days!

Took my wife out to this place thinking it would be nice after reading the reviews. Not so. There was only one other table taken, the place was empty but the service was unbelievably slow to say the least. The food was of a sub standard and portion size was a joke. For an "all you can eat" the emphasis is the take as much time, while you fill up on water and prawn crackers. The chicken for me was not chicken. I dont know what it was, but it certainly wasnt "fresh"! From observing the staff, as we were waiting for so long, the main concern was getting the take aways out. All of which had bigger portions than we received. .. I actually gave this rating 1 star only because I had to pick. My choice would have been none. Our food was not fresh, the rice tasted like microwave rice but worse, the chicken was disgusting, the service was so slow we were still hungry after we left.. . . my advice would be to stay clear of the orient unless you like to eat slop slow..

I used to love this place but it must have changed hands. Stopped the buffet on a Saturday night and the decor isn't great looks a bit cheap and shoddy . Great food thought but not a patch n how it used to be

Have eaten here and ordered take away from here before but not for a few years. Had lemon chicken tonight which was very nice and just as I remember it. Available to collect in 15 minutes as well.

Tonight I ordered a Chicken Chow Mien, how I wish I hadn't.It consisted of a few very small noodles,3 tiny bits of white onion,what appeared to be half of a spring onion ( probably for garnish ) and approximately a spoon full of Bamboo Shoots.It was exceptionally dry and the little bits of so called Chicken looked like the prepacked stuff with the skin taken off from Tescos.I have NEVER seen anything like it.No taste,very very bland and no sauce not even soy sauce. THIS HAS TO BE THE MOST EXPENSIVE CHOW MIEN IVE EVER HAD AND CERTAINLY WILL NOT BE HAVING AGAIN FROM THIS SHOP.Ive taken a photo of it and I hope to put it up for all to see.We are so pleased it was delivered and we aren't sitting in the restaurant as it would have been thrown back.NOT EVEN A BIT OF CARROT. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement.!!!! !!!

I prefer to order online but you cant even do that. No way to order online for delivery even though they advertise as being able to. If i ever get something delivered i will update accordingly

All you can eat buffet is freshly cooked. Also can order as much as you like. :-)

Been waiting over half an hour to collect takeaway that we had phoned in and ordered in advance. Still waiting.... Not happy.

This was a last minute decision to get a takeaway for two when passing by, the food was prepared very quickly and with this in mind the food was delicious. A faultless review for this restaurant and will be looking forward to taking advantage of the opportunity to sit in and enjoy a meal.

ALWAYS an excellent meal. Staff friendly but not overbearing. You aren't rushed off your table. Would HIGHLY recommend
