Asked at strawberry field caravan park as we were staying there( buy the way it's also a great find )where best butcher was and was told Robinsons wingate.Went in shop and have to say was disappointed with display however was served by a super gentleman who said anything I required he would be able to supply me.I bought some stuff for a barbecue which was superb and not too costly.Suffice to say I'll be going back Moro to place order for freezer to take back home.Dont expect loads of chicken beef and pork in fancy sauces that looks pretty under lights what you get is good quality products served by good old fashioned butchers with a smile and willing to help. Superb thanks Dave Galloway

Menu says food served till 3pm. I was informed the fryers go off at 1:30 so couldn’t get a bowl of chips. Asked if they had any gluten free non cooked options and that was a no too. Coffee was decent but I felt like they were literally mopping me out of the door at 2pm. If you want to go home at 2, go home at 2. But don’t dangle a carrot under peoples noses and then take it away. Pointless. If my staff treated my customers like this I’d have something to say about it. Avoid.

Popped in for a bite to eat and a drink. Both dog and baby friendly. Nice and quick for food to come out. Ordered some cheese on toast which wasn’t on the menu for our little one and they very happily sorted this out and provided childrens cutlery and plates.

Great pub, lovely landlord, great beer & cider plus home made pizzas. Great beer garden over a very, very quiet road. What's not to like?

A family of 20 booked in here for a birthday meal,to make it easier we pre booked food, service was very good & food also very good. My only complaint would be that there were too many tables squeezed into small area,we were that close to back wall people had to crawl under table to go to loo.

Excellent atmosphere if you like thinks old. This place dates back to 1690. Quiet location with good car parking. Good food. We had a salad and a pasta that went well together for sharing!

Paninis soft like bread. No crispness at all. No side salad or crisps apparently due to waste. You can pay for it though. Soft panini looked very sad on its own (and expensive). Surely you could ask customer when they order if they want side salad, then it wouldn’t be a waste !!!!

What an amazing find! Others had wonderfully generously filled breakfast rolls and I had the best scones EVER, one savoury, one sweet. Such friendly service too, What's not to like!?

1ST Kebab, was full and lush 2nd one was a lot less amount and 3rd one tonight was terrible, she put a table spoon of salad red and white cabbage and 2 small halves of cucumber on it.what a greedy woman she is. i won't return i've given them a few chances to be fair with the customer. i asked her if she could mange a bit more salad, she replied i would have to charge you a £1 for it. I came home ate the tiny kebab which cost me £7.40p and had to order food from somewhere else as i was still very hungry after eating the measly little kebab.Get your act together GOLDEN FRY.
