Booked a table for mother's Day, 2nd year in a row and was so impressed last year. Excellent service and excellent food. Going to make in an annual thing.

Made a booking in February arrived at Fabius at 5.55pm for a 6pm reservation got seated at 6.20 had to ask for 2 chairs for my mum and dad both 82 starters arrived at 7pm punchball’s with mozzarella had no cheese on and needless to say where tasteless mains turned up at 7.45 my dads chicken was dry and over cooked the desserts where good but the staff need educating in how to serve food leaning over people to give them a plate instead of walking round and putting it in front of them is not good practice definitely won’t be back here
Práctico café en el centro de la ciudad. Edificio peculiar. Asientos interiores y exteriores. Los paninis eran excelentes. Agua gratis disponible cerca del mostrador. Café decepcionante - mi café con leche tenía una piel en la parte superior. Personal amable.
We ordered two chicken bhuna’s and a Punjabi butter chicken, our Bhunas were ok but my mums so called Buttef Chicken was actually a Korma, we told the manager and although he did offer us a different dish, he was very rude, we said to him that butter chicken should not be coconut flavoured…. He said that if my mum would like to try to make a butter chicken in his kitchen, then serve it to the customers, then see who’s curry people would rather eat!
How rude!

Booked a tablet of 13 to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday! Had a lovely cosy relaxing feel. When we arrived the staff made us feel so welcome! Staff were brilliant got everything spot on! Wow the food was outstanding so tasty!
Thank you Travellers rest for making my husbands 40th celebration amazing!
Terrible sunday lunch on Father’s Day,small amount of meat, vegetables,Yorkshire puddings and the gravy was like water.we were here before lockdown and had a fabulous Sunday lunch that’s why we returned.what a let down, staff advised us it was new owners.the best place in this area for Sunday lunch is the peacock by far....we will not recommend or return.
Called into this very popular pub/ restaurant 10th November after walking along the railway path from Romaldkirk. Sunday service was in full swing and although we were there for drinks only the lunches being prepared looked and smelled delicious! Staff were kind and helpful and the ambience delightful. We were let down by our transport arrangements but when this became known to the staff, help was given to us for our return. Cannot give enough praise. Thank you once again.
Very sorry to say had takeaway of lamb ticka dish and special balti l. ast night Feb. 15th. but was extremely disappointed. The lamb was very tough, my wife's dish, and my balti didn't have much content to it nice spice but not much in way of meat etc. Very unhappy with regard to the price of £39 for two meals. Always had nice sit down restaurant food but this was very poor, unlikely to order takeaway away again from here.
We visited here on a Sunday without reservation, and seem that we were lucky to get seated as by the time our meal was put on the table, the room we were in was full.
The staff were all really friendly and the food was really tasty and quality.
We had the mixed Sunday roast with extra veg and roasties.
We would definitely go again. Thank you.
Can’t comment on the rooms, but everywhere downstairs was clean and well presented.

Order was missing items, they only gave me the coffee and didn't send the food. Had to place another order to actually get something to eat - ordered from Greggs instead.
