The best restaurants in North East

Absolutely lovely cheese and chive scone, and amazing cinnamon and cherry cake. The bakes were even tastier than they looked! We got two flat whites which were really nice, and everything was served quickly and with a smile. Overall great value and experience :)

What a fabulous discovery!! We were staying locally and craving good coffee. This place really does a great one and also has delicious cakes. The owner is lovely, she also has a diverse range of locally produced foods and home wares including some wonderful perfumes! Such a treasure trove, we went every day. Dogs welcome too 💫

We ordered lamb achari, lamb roghan josh and chicken balti. Taste was really good, especially lamb achari. Peaceful, aesthetic ambience, clean washrooms and courteous staff.

Such friendly staff, such quick service and the food is just delicious. Get the chowder it's fantastic.

Great falafel wraps - soo good! Would recommend to anyone. Halloumi and falafel together is very good. Went with kids and wife - everyone enjoyed the food.

Sortie is my favourite place for a date night. The full board is perfect for 2 people who want an intimate dining experience. Everything is fresh and individually chosen, and mother in laws chutney is out of this world. The cocktails are a perfect closer to the night too. Thanks for yet another wonderful night.
