The best restaurants in Tooting Wandsworth London

Disappointed, we use to go to the stage door 20 plus years ago when the elderly couple owner the restaurant and it was beautiful, we have very good memories of the service snd food. Last night the food was disappointing, the sauté potato’s were greasy and my husband T- bone streak that he requested medium well was very rare. The service was slow.

very dissatisfied n disappointed from my high expectations from Ravi's Bryani . embarrassed to the maxium made me look lke a fool . bryani we ordered was more than a few days old, . Taste like not bryani . my mum or all mauritians n creoles make n very far from the real deal . chicken was dead n old tasteless . sorry to say the cheap bryani in my local sweet shop tastes better . Shame on you Rav . sort it out . I've been making Bryani creole style 3 times n i've actually perfected it . Ravi's bryani : This was a cheap amateurish way to serve this bryani. shame on you . u embarrassed me . i recommend dal puri only . Hi i said to my mates u will not be disappointed from a proper Mauritian Bryani - bria . Lets go for lunch . Dawat n lahore on high street dose better Bryani im afraid . i cook n know what is good or not .

great food and atmosphere, fresh food and always a pleasure to come to. the kitchen staff no there food and the food is perfect everytime the service is devine and always happy members of staff that enjoy there job.

The best food in tooting Broadway the food was delicious and I will give it 5 stars and I hope more people come here I recommend it

I didn’t even know a pub as good as this was nearby to me. It’s relaxing, comforting, has lots of space to sit about inside & outside and has a really joyful atmosphere. The drinks are really nice with there good qualities and the service is good too. Would definitely recommend for a good night out at the pub, since I’m always been visiting here every week lately.

Nice pub, nice food, nice atmosphere, nice staff. Recommend the London Big Bake. A lot, a lot of fun.

I thought I’d treat myself to my favourite burger place after being out of London a while, what has happened?! The salad dressing was poured into a burger box which obviously leaked through, over everything else and through the delivery bag and is now all over my floor. The chicken tenders were overcooked and dry, I wonder how long they have been sitting around. The (gluten free) burger bun also overdone and dry. Just bad all round.

They don’t seem to be very hygienic. Staff please use gloves especially if you’re making someone burger!!

Lovely desserts however service definitely needs to be looked at. We visited as a large group last week and when paid the offer for students was shown. Upon this my daughter asked if it could be applied the young assistant gave us a filthy look and said no. I smiled and asked her why not she just rolled her eyes and looked the other way. Seriously was not even pushing for the student discount my daughter only mentioned it in passing. After that we were served with a very bad attitude. Unfortunately I didn’t get a name and decided not to take it up with seniors however she’s the young lady with the pink weaves in her hair. Seriously this lady needs to learn customer service.

I tried to order some food via deliveroo. The restaurant called me and said that they don’t have some items which should be reflected on the menu online. I asked to cancel the order instead. They told me to cancel it from my side. I tried contacting customer service who said that they cannot reach this place over the phone to confirm cancellation. When I called again and asked to pick up the phone within next couple of minutes to confirm cancellation because deliveroo cannot go ahead without it, the person on the phone was extremely rude to me. At first he said that it his 2nd day of work, with this attitude on your 2nd day he shouldn’t last for much longer.

A place definitely go to if you like South Indian food! They do have Indo Chinese menu but not after B’fast hours. I was a bit disappointed with that since I wanted to try a few of their food. Otherwise their food was delicious and not too pricy. I would recommend you reserve a table if you going later in the day as it gets busy. I ordered their Chole Bhaturas and man was I not disappointed with that at all. The Bature was the size of my whole plate. 😎

I often come here with a friend of mine and the staff know us and ask about how we are doing. I love the variety of meats and oh boy the quantities!

Never again,l can make a better chichen curry myself,chichen tasted doggy and sauce was very runny.The Spring rolls was ok but if was so hot l had to wait long before eating it,service was friendly.
