Found ourselves walking in after a afternoon of shopping and was extremely pleased with our food it was fresh clean hot and absolutely delicious we left with very happy tummys

I am really not happy with my order, the food was cold when it arrived. The driver was over half an hr late after me calling the restaurant to be told it would be 2-3 minutes, it arrived 15mins after. My poppadoms were all crushed and the food itself was too salty so I coudnt even eat it. The wrap I ordered was all soggy so that coudnt be eaten either. I am really disappointed

Ordered here before and the food is good. Rice was missing from the order tonight, I phoned the restaurant straight away and they said itd be delivered in 5 minutes. I phoned back 30minutes later, still no rice

Cannot complain on the staff’s hospitality and Ambience. Really the team needs to work on the cooking… the fish biriyani and chicken biriyani we ordered had absolutely Nil taste . We just had to pretend that we are eating potato rice / sambar rice / curd Rice. Disappointed

NEVER DELIVERED MY ORDERS... VERY BAD SERVICE

Well if i start from beginning, the customer service is 1/10, atmospheres will rate 1 because the atmospheres depend upon how you treated. there is no professionalism, when you ask the waiter he come and just run again and whisper with each others. majority when you ask for description of food, they gave confusion, the person who take your order speaks very slow that you have to ask 4,5 time that what you saying, then when we order food, in the start we told him that we want mutton krahi it shouldn’t be sweet, , cold drinks and also ordered mix grill. Mix grill was just ok, lamb chops were burnt , chicken pieces were ok. And finally the mutton karayi arrived, 🤣 that time they throw water on our expectations, it was look like they gives us used food by someone and the remaining is for us. When we tasted little from food through spoon 🥄 it was sweet like Bangladeshi food, we requested to taste by theirself that its sweet or not. to replace it. The waiter went and ask manager and the manager replied even we were setting and listening “tell them wana eat, if you don’t want eat pay the bill and leave” we told him we will pay the bill of those item which we used, he told if you used or not you have to pay the bill, even we didn’t opened/used the drink, & he changed us and his way of communicating and face expressions were so rude.

After ordering as takeaway for many years, we had to order food from Mirch Masala for a private event! Hamza provided fantastic, friendly service helping us create our bespoke menu for our special event. All our guests enjoyed the food. It was delicious! Thank you so much.

Where to start I have nothing good to say about this place unfortunately. Got there and ordered just fine and received the starters promptly as expected. 35 minutes later nothing comes out, no mains or sides - we think, "what the hell is taking so long?" Grab a waiters attention and they didn't even communicate the order to the chefs...okay, fine, this can happen, wait another 15 minutes and they come back saying "what did you order?" we were like, come on... Repeat the order, they come BACK and ask AGAIN 💀Pretty immediately we get the main (no rice btw), rice takes 7 mins to get there so just letting the sauce and chicken welcome to open doors breeze. HUGE group of lads arrive - granted this obviously isn't their fault but you are letting them in, I'm talking 30 odd people just making the loudest noise and being pretty disrespectful to others eating there WHEEYYY every time the slightest thing happens. Boys - go somewhere else, split up or something. Get the bill, (takes a bit) card machine isn't turned on. My friends card is declined because they don't accept amex (the folded paper that has the bill has the logo on). Says "yeah thats all good thanks" ??? No, it was declined, read it. Anyway that was an hour+ experience in one review. Hope to never come back tbh.

This place used to be a lot better and whenever the owner would serve you, he would normally give you a free poppadom. The waitress there doesn't and leaves you waiting for ages before 1, giving you the menu, 2, serving you (serves others first) 3, the bill and then a lot longer to come for payment. Serving others first. She is not very helpful also. There is also sadly a 5. On this occasion, I've had food Poisoning. Which was the last straw for me, which made the decision to leave this review

They are very rude behaviour with customer currently happen one incident front of me: the staff and manager are push out a customer out of the door. That person call police as well but police doesn't take action against the staff and manager. They did not checked camera recorded video as well everything recorded in the cam in side the restaurant. Best sheekh kebabs going in tooting

I hesitated to express my thoughts on this matter, but I believe it is necessary to address it. Yesterday evening (13/09/24), while picking up a takeaway, I entered the restaurant and noticed two British men behind me in the narrow doorwell. The waiter, who had long hair and a beard, chose to greet them first instead of acknowledging me, despite my being in line ahead of them. After seeing my disappointment, he finally recognised my presence. I feel compelled to voice my frustration, as it seemed the waiter prioritised the British customers over me, a Pakistani British individual. I was then left waiting for five minutes to pay for my order, whilst the chap behind the counter deligated orders to others, rather than take my payment, which was quite disheartening given the overall service at Mirch Masala; I fail to understand why I was overlooked. After some reflection, I called the restaurant and encountered a similarly rude individual who dismissed my complaint, claiming they were busy before abruptly ending the call. Is this their standard of customer service? I called back, visibly upset, and requested to speak with the director, but was told it was not possible. The staff member reluctantly took my number, promising to pass it on, yet I am still awaiting a response. We have order numerous times, however I do not feel that Mirch Masala credits any further business from me.

This place provides value for money but you have to accept what comes with it. The food is pretty decent and like many restaurants in tooting being able to take your own alcohol is a plus point. However it’s really loud and hard to hear the person opposite you speaking. The staff are friendly.

I went out with my friend yesterday night for dinner and my stomach went bad today. The food was cold and the roti was hard like a rock when served. Service was good though food did upset our stomach. Would definitely avoid next time.

The Nihari didn’t come with ginger, coriander, and green chilli’s as expected.

I bought the fish Biriani, however, on opening the container, there was a strong smell of lime/lemon. This overpowered the taste of the fish and I could not eat it. The Keema rice also could have been better. I will not be buying again.

Mehwish is amazing, friendly, her service is incredible and always smiling and a credit to the restaurant. Food is also amazing and can’t wait to be back. She is one reason we keep coming back, don’t ever let her go.

The best lamb chops and onion bhajis in London, and almost certainly in the top 3 on earth. I have lived in NYC for 13 years but when I go to London, the Mirch is my first and last stop. I’m actually tearing up with how much I want to be there right now. Never, ever charge.

Very disappointed,they cheat with customers,I bought 3 boxes of curry and it’s very expensive and they gave 2 boxes completely half with curry,we complain they Restaurant and they said THIS IS OUR STANDARD PORTION,no it’s not,it’s rubbish cheat portion,never bought from this restaurant,please all customers go to other restaurants like ALMIRAGE,WATAN,DAWAAT, they gave same price but gave very good portions,and if you have any complain they listen and cover with good behaviour.

Delicious kebab rolls. We bought the lamb and tikka rolls and they were tasty, fresh and well-priced (£9 for 3).

Some of the staff are really great. But this is the third time in a row that we have been treated badly by one of their apparently senior member of staff.

I arranged a wedding of my Son at upstairs hall everything thing was quite good and prepared staff was very energetic we actually set the menu before first we had starters and then main course food was super hot and delicious I must recommend I think the food was one of the best in tooting.

Very fast and very good value for money. Salad and sauce was very fresh.

We were invited to a celebratory lunch; there were 17 of us on a spacious long table! The food was amazing, as always! Freshly fried mogo, two waves of grilled meats: seekh kebabs, lamb chops and chicken tikka, followed by karahi gosht, saag gosht, bhindi and tarka daal. All accompanied by roti, naan and rice! Final course: kheer and a range of kulfis. The Mirch Masala team managed everything so effortlessly: as soon as we finished one portion, another freshly-prepared dish arrived. More than three unimaginably relaxed hours spent eating, drinking and catching up! Very happy people left Mirch Masala with full bellies and wonderful memories. Thank you so much!

It's not the place to enjoy and relax. The food was tasty, but we have been rashed to finish our meal and given a limit of 5 minutes to leave the table by the manager. Rude, unprofessional, and disappointing.

Tasty starters, excellent breads, above average curries, both veg and non veg. The cashier though, put a total of 8.5 pounds extra on the bill. He put popadams at 2 pounds even though they are complimentary, and given to us without asking. Put a chicken starter of 4 pounds at the price of curry at 8.5 pounds, put chilli bajji as chicken bajji, and put 2 coke as 3 coke. When I went to talk about it, be argued about popadams, finally he agreed and gave me 10 pounds asking me to give the 1.5 pounds back. Since I didn't have any coins, he asked me to give my bank details which I did, so that he could transfer the money. Then the owner/ manager arrived, and when he asked what the matter was, the cashier went a little sheepish and said that an extra curry had been charged. The owner then refunded the amount immediately using the payment machine. I suggest go coz it's tasty, but make sure you check what's being put on the bill.

Sat at a table of 15, ordered at the same time. They brought out two plates of chicken and some onion bahji’s, only to leave us waiting for the rest of the orders including the rice, naan, and other mains for over 15 minutes. No communication as to what was happening and when we asked, was told “it’s coming”. Food is delicious but poor service and long wait times. Wouldn’t recommend.

Went there for the first time and the food was nice and authentic. We had the bbq chicken wings which was tender and the lamb Chops. They were both tasty. The lamb curry was nice. The Naan was a bit crispy for my taste but it was nice with the curry.

I had high hopes for Mirch Masala. Sadly overall it was pretty disappointing. We were quite a large group and we were put upstairs. Although downstairs has been refurbished, upstairs has an unfinished feel to it. It's also incredibly noisy to the point where it really was unbearable. The food was average. We asked for it all to come at the same time. Instead it came as starters and mains with a good 50 mins in between. The staff found communication difficult. Not a single word was uttered from their lips for the whole meal. Not one hello, please or thank you. After two hours of noise we were pleased to leave. The bill took a fair while to arrive.

Had a wonderful meal here in Mirch Masala - the best curry house I have tried in Tooting! The food is very fairly priced and the staff are extremely friendly (Sana in particular!!) Would recommend!

Mirch Masala in Tooting is my 'go to' restaurant for the best curry dishes on the High Street. Made fresh every time !

Price varies from the big board and the menu card. However, there is no indication or mentions of this in the card. Portions are rather small and prices higher than usual. The owner thinks he is smarter than customers by claiming he knows how business is done while assuming that we customers don't. Which is preposterous, as I have been to 100 restaurants in London. So I would strongly advise potential customers to go somewhere else...

No one at all in the shop so decided to have a quick lunch. While eating the starters food health inspectors walked in and said out loud who they were and said that 3 separate complaints have come so a full inspection tion was carried out from our sight in the kitchen area. I bet the venue has been shut down Food was rubbish and we ran away after paying for what we ate. No recommendations here.

Very poor service by the waiter. Food was very bland and tasteless. The curry which we ordered was little sour(tasted as if it was just the tomato puree in it), no taste in it, no spices… Sweet lassi came in last and that to when, when we reminded the waiter, inspite reminding also it came after 5 minutes. Chilli paneer was not how it should be, it was given bland with the chilli sauce mix in it, no taste at all.

Came for a Sunday evening curry, had a lovely time. Tasty food very very reasonably priced. Would recommend! The host (Iesha) was very helpful and friendly, along with all the other staff at the restaurant

This is a super clean local restaurant with fantastic food (well done AGAIN Chef!), and loads of tasty vegetarian options. All staff are professional offering friendly and speedy service everyone - especially Isha. Prices are great. Ambiance is nice - you’ll want keep go back to Mirch Masala Tooting!
