What's great. The food. The Mutton Rolls and Vardi starters were excellent. Then Devil Chicken, a gap, then the Chicken Poriyal. Both great. Then, then, then...a very long gap. To be fair the place was busy and the queue of delivery drivers shows how good the food is. Finally asked the staff and chicken fried rice and noodles arrived along with the lentil and Pol rotis arrived. The Lentil curry is just the best I've ever had. If I could I'd give Kothu a 3.9. No criticism of the staff who are friendly and the food is excellent. The beer is reasonably priced. I'll go again.

I took some Belgian friends of mine here for dinner. We hadn’t been before and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Quite hot and delicious. Excellent first experience of Sri Lankan food for us.

Lovely masala dosai to start but chicken kothu main was so spicy (even though I ordered mild) I couldn’t eat it. Service friendly. Atmosphere a bit vacant, other than beeping noise from some kind of electrical device.

We came here for lunch because my brother and his family had been twice and loved it so we thought we would give it a try. On arrival there was an odd smell but we still sat down and started to look at the menu. We ordered a variety of food which included fish cutlets, veg samosas, chillier paneer and cauliflower Manchurian. The fish, somasas and cauliflower were nice but the chilli paneer was not. The food took a very long time to come and we was told there was only one chef. Service was slow, no apology and each time we received food the waitresses forgot to give us serving spoons. The masala dosa’s were awful, we had to send one back as it was very soggy. I ordered the chicken Kotu which was not nice at all, lacked flavour. When we paid the bill there was no thank you, did you enjoy meal, nothing. The service was terrible and food was average. My brother said when he went there were three ladies in the kitchen so maybe he just lucked out on the chefs. I would not be returning

I have ordered duck in plum sauce, got with pineapple, WHICH I'm allergic to!!! Ordered vegetable spring rolls, got with meat! Called the restaurant and the person who answered me was very rude!!! Absolutely unhelpful!

This place is okay, nothing much to appreciate about, the food is fine and the service here is slow.

We had high expectations of this BYOB restaurant as there was a considerable queue for a table when we visited. When we eventually got a table we waited quite a while for our order to be taken and then, throughout the service, had to ask for dishes that had been ordered but not brought to the table. The waitress seemed particularly disinterested. The food was not cheap and was disappointing - surprisingly bland, in fact.. An emotive issue, I know, but the Palestinian flag appearing on the advertising monitors in the restaurant, was, we thought, unnecessary in a commercial environment. All in all, a mildly disappointing experience.

The presentation and packaging of the food is excellent, probably one of the best I’ve seen. However the quality and taste of the food is very bad not authentic at all. I ordered the fish madras and fish masala. The fish madras tasted very tomatoey like they just poured a whole tin of tomatoes with no spice or flavour, tasted more like a stew. The fish masala was basically like eating a desert, basically a ton of sugar and thick creamy coconut. I think they cater to a certain type of demographic
