The food was very tasty and authentic but overpriced for the quantity served. We had Roti with Vindaye (£7.50 for one) and it was a very small serving of the Vindaye and filled with carrot and cucumber salad which stole the star of the show. The fried snacks were reasonably priced and very well made. Overall the food tasted good but expensive for the price, it took a very long time with the service and we spent nearly an hour waiting for the roti to arrive. It is a very popular place, if the portion size and timing were to improve I would give this a 5 star rating as the food is authentic and tasted very good and fresh.

The family who run this gem are very friendly, helpful and serve really delicious and authentic Mauritian food. Highly recommended.

Realmente me gustó el arroz con pollo que probé, muy simple pero sabrosa comida tradicional. El personal fue muy amable y los precios asequibles. El restaurante está en el mercado Tooting Broadway, un área muy interesante para comer o comprar.

Está escondido en la parte posterior de Tookting Market y no tiene pretensiones, pero si desea una experiencia gastronómica realmente especial y diferente, este es el lugar para ir. Los tres cursos fueron especiales, como el té de vainilla! Los entrantes eran picantes. Tuve el cordero al curry. This is one of the many many food outlets in Tooting Indoor Market. Good choice of dishes and cooked to order. You can see the clean interior and watch the food preparation whilst sipping a cool beer. Two areas are available to sit in, the main part at the side of the restaurant but we elected to sit out the front so we could people watch. We all had a curry and I had the thali dish which was excellent and came with roti, pickle and a hot mint sauce. We had no room for the delicious cakes on offer for a pudding but the friends that I was with had eaten here before and said that they had them last time and that they were wonderful. Next time ....

Just needed to walk out of Mangé des Îles. Before ordering, we asked if he had any child friendly food (no) so said we'd go and get a Hot Dog for our 9 year old, and come back, which we did; after placing our order the manager came to our table and said our son (now eating a Hot Dog) must eat outside, as only food bought on the premises etc. I sympathise stalls with tables shouldn't be taken advantage of by those without, but this was a child's lunch - the market needs to sort this out - it's driving business away and rude @mangerdesiles
