Nando's - Tooting in Wandsworth

The staff are very helpful here, facilitating our big group and ensuring our food all came out quickly. Thank you so much!

My name is Fardeen Nasir, and I am writing a review about Nando's in Tooting. I ate many food such as Fries, chicken, rice and burgers because it has a good taste. During waiting time it happens when they were sometimes business.

Great team and kindly, food is very tasty something special, I prefer to eat at Nando’s on tooting because here is nice place,

We came as a group of 10 to 16 as we normally do on a large amount of occasions. Hussain refused to sit us saying they are too busy. I offered to sit separately in small groups but he still refused with no good reason only stating it’s not possible. I tried to explain that we are willing to separate the group in to different tables of 4 for example just like any family walking though the door but still he kept laughing saying it’s not possible. In the meantime 5/10 mins I was there multiple tables had left even a large group. He had no thought to try and help us even tho I came up with the solution as he had one thing in his mind which was to turn everyone away. My family just arrived from an 18h flight and really wanted to eat Nando’s. Why was we subjected to this behaviour and lack of professionalism? He was even laughing with customers there when we left. I repeat we wanted to just eat even separately in a table of 2 and table of 4 etc but still said no when tables were free. We did not want to order all together but as separate tables and still NO! Why? Where was the logic even with no other customers waiting so no queue!!

Went to Nando's Tooting as usual. We go there almost monthly and we are big family. They have always accomodated us. We understand when its busy, we have to wait and we always do as we live 2 mins away. This time, Hussain did not even give us a chance at all. He was just "Sorry we cannot accomodate you. We dont have tables and we do not reserve tables." We asked if we could wait or have separate tables. Nope! Just no 🤷‍♀️ Horrible!

Good service, female taking orders (sorry can't remember name but initial A) was very friendly and had everything under control. When my meal arrived the chips were cold and were changed immediately. The meal was very nice. We also ordered something to take away and that was cooked separately for when we were ready. They had a good delivery set up too, a separate area and orders passed out a hatch so drivers didn't need to come into the restaurant.

This is the most disgusting experience I be had a a Nandos - the chicken tasted awful and size shrunk -chips were awful -AC wasn’t working -bottomless drink wasn’t working. Paid for expensive cans -app wasn’t working to order -had to wait 10 minutes for a fork and food got cold

You can’t go wrong with Nando’s the chicken is always good here. Recent visit we were looked after very well by the staff with good quick service.

Always busy. Ordering with the app is a hassle as it seems to log you out and its the only way to pay for items. Good selection of mains and sides.

Very good service and very quick when sitting in was a quite day but ! been to collect plenty of times when busy always quick

Really bad smell from chicken, grill was not clean smell of ammonia, kitchen dirty . Last time was raw. It won’t be next time . Why can’t people do a good job, it is the same time just a bit more effort. Disgusted!

Food was good as always, portions good sizes. Supervisor was just too loud! Thankfully we opted for a takeout!

After waiting 10 minutes to even be approached to offer us a table when we walked in we had to wait 45 minutes for the food...only for it to come out cold. Need to stop letting people in if you're so clearly understaffed. All the tables around us had the same issue but worse. Wont be coming back!

Just used Tooting Nando’s for a takeaway. Got home to find one wrap missing. Had to walk back to the restaurant to find the wrap had been left on the side. Got home again to find that instead of peri peri chips there was a portion of rice. Too hungry to go back again and the food is getting cold. This is not the first time I’ve had poor service there but it will be the last.

I visited Nando’s this evening 28/06/2019 in Tooting/London. I was served twice by Karolina- my main meal and my dessert. She made a fuss about the fact that I asked for two of the same chicken pieces in my main meal to the point I asked to speak to the manager and when I ordered my dessert and paid she said she couldn’t give this to me as requested because she has other customers to serve even though I was before them in the queue!!!! She agreed that it would be brought to my table which finally came 30 minutes after my order by then I had lost my appetite and my friends were ready to leave so I had to rush. The manager was understanding when I asked if I can have two of the same chicken pieces as part of my meal and there was a young boy that was doing some of the domestic chores upstairs and downstairs - he was lovely and wished us a save journey home . Karolina was very standofish and unapproachable and for that reason I’m reluctant to go back to this branch , overall disappointing - I‘ll stick to my local in future.

¡Nando es de Nando y no necesito mencionar la calidad ya que ya conoce la comida y el menú! Personalmente me encantan los de Nando y también me encantan los de este Nando. ¡El personal realmente hace un lugar en cualquier lugar y el personal de aquí es uno de los más amigables y geniales que puedes conocer! ¡Este Nando se pone ocupado! !

great place ,great sevice ,great value ,food is consistently good and vale is great .will recommend always

Reliable food, always know that the food will be decent. The children particularly love the menu and the sauces. The service was disappointingly slow during my last visit, and we waited a long time to be seated. Moreover, the ice cream machine was once again out of order.

Staff were very busy talking about what they would have for Desert rather focusing on customer , some swear words. Flying through the room , just a bad day in office I guess , one order turned up late and burnt after everyone had finished the mains

Visited on a Friday and it was very busy, staff friendly, but...Unusually we waited nearly 30 minutes for our order, and it was just about warm enough.Seemed like lots of food was ready and on the counter, it just could not be brought out quick enough.I notice a trend where restaurants have a massive take away business via all the delivery companies, and this distracts from the service offered to restaurant dinersWill put this down to a one off and hope next visit is better

I love Nando’s and I come here roughly twice a week due to the fact it’s close by. However this store is so bad. Service is horrendous usually wait roughly 30 minutes. Cleanliness is also a concern especially on the circular tables you can see a build up grease which isn’t nice. Always rammed aswell. You will eventually get a Nando’s but you probably won’t enjoy the experience!

Un grupo de 14 de nosotros llegamos sin reservas y el personal era muy servicial, organizando mesas y ofreciendo la planta baja, que era más fresca y perfecta para nuestro grupo privado. Gracias ! Tuve una opción que no era de pollo y lamentablemente la envié para reemplazarla porque no estaba lo suficientemente caliente, pero de nuevo el servicio del equipo brilló y no pudieron haber sido más complacientes. He estado una vez antes y no había nada que decir: era ideal, y aparte del ligero error de cálculo sobre el calor (literalmente necesitaba 30 segundos más en la parrilla), el lugar es popular, rápido de servir, muy buena relación calidad-precio y el servicio es genial. Dado que fue la comida para la que fui, obtuve 3, pero los puntajes de servicio y costo son mucho más altos.

I went to Nando’s many times and the food as always good but the portions too small and the rise a little bit cold. Anyway we enjoyed the lunch and the staff was very professional.

We stopped In for dinner and really enjoyed our dinner. The sauces were great and very different from most quick restaurants.

I have been to most of the Nando’s in the area and the service here is always the best- friendly staff, quick service.

When I order in the particular nandos the chicken always tends to be dry to the point where I have to drown in in sauce myself , staff are not really as nice and tend to be a bit rude of many occasions .

Lo primero que encontrará diferentes de Nando's en la India y esto es. . No es un restaurante a cenar bien. Es como KFC o McDonald's. Tienes que pedir la comida en el mostrador y pagas y te sirven en la mesa.

Almorzamos un domingo como una pareja. Larga espera para pedir y pagar. Luego de esperar más de media hora para la comida. El mostrador de comida era literalmente rebosante con placas preparadas. La cocina estaba sonando el pedido listo sin parar bell (10 - 15 veces a la vez) como el personal de la planta no estaban aceptando los pedidos de las mesas. También era un miembro del personal con ella abierta de mascar la boca. Muy, muy desagradable cuando estamos allí para comer.

We went in here Friday last. Just after one o'clock and it certainly looked busy. We had the butterfly chicken and thighs platter to share and two large sides. The food arrived in good time and it was really nice. Juicy chicken and not dry or overcooked. There does seem to be an issue over cleaning tables though as the one we were shown to needed to be cleaned and that seemed to be the way. Dirty tables at the window isn't a good advert. So too busy or the staff need to up their game or a mix of both?

Nothing at all wrong with Nandos in Tooting except maybe some of the patrons. How hard is it to get chicken right, and they do.

Acabamos de regresar de Chelsea y tener bajó en Broadway y sensación Yo lo intentaría hambre decidimos entrar Nando's en la calle alta. Nos recibió y acomodó inmediatamente. El restaurante estaba bastante lleno y había mesas (incluyendo al lado de nosotros) que no la habían limpiado. Nuestra comida no llegue como ordenados y tuvimos que lidiar con una mesa fiable que influyeron cada vez que intentó cortar nada de nuestros platos. Como es costumbre en otras Nando's que he visitado nadie vino a preguntar si nuestra comida estaba bien y si queríamos algo más. Nuestra comida llegó en lo que parecía ser de los recipientes para la ensalada que me llevó a observar que no estaban disponibles los platos en el lado donde las salsas. (Estas llegamos más tarde, sin duda desde el lavavajillas sólo vaciándose). No creo que volveré allí.

No es un grupo muy simpático. Nunca había visto tantas personas que odian su trabajo. Servidor nunca agrietado su aspecto femenino cara por lotes y parecían muy enfadado. La única persona en lugar con un poco de personalidad era un buen chico español que he olvidado el nombre. La comida estaba bien. Me prisa en volver. . . . NO!

Fuimos con mi esposo para una comida y bebidas pidiendo ir cuando con nuestra comida me dijeron no no hay agua, no hay agua, no gaseosas agua para beber, puede ir al baño si quieres un vaso de agua. . . En serio? Que en realidad está en contra de la ley. Estaremos en contacto con las autoridades locales de salud en la mañana es muy. No volveré allí de nuevo.

Cajero/no pude comprobar si pudiera usar mis puntos hasta después de que pagamos. En los puntos resultantes que ahora perdido caducan. Se les olvidó el pollo en mi ensalada de pollo, mi lado de 2 alas estaban fríos y mi té estaba tibia. Personal incompetente!

Mi orden de bebida estaba equivocada, les tomó demasiado tiempo para corregirlo y me trago justo como la comida llegó 3 minutos después de ordenar. El pollo - pedí pollo así supongo que era pollo pero estaba tan seca, dura y sosa que podría haber sido un pedazo de alfombra por lo que yo sé. Asimismo el pan y fue muy duro, me sorprende que no descanso un diente en el proceso de comer. Las patatas fritas eran pasada y poco hecha. Evitar, evitar, evitar.

Comimos aquí en un domingo por la tarde con algunos amigos. El servicio era amable y atento, y recibimos nuestra comida es muy rápido, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba bastante concurrida.

Quick service, but very average food. The rice was dry and the butterfly burger was a bit dry as well. Alright for a quick lunch quite expensive for what it is though.

Buena comida y servicio al cliente es fabuloso aquí. se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo. Gran ambiente, sucursal yo lo intentaría se llena bastante. Me encanta la nueva decoración y el nuevo diseño.

La comida era realmente buena, con un servicio excelente y un gran ambiente. En general, fue una gran experiencia.

The food is great ofcourse, however I was disappointed that they do not offer espetadas. There's not really any waiter service and u have to pay on the counter before you eat. But overall I think it's a great restaurant.

Recently renovated and is now more spacious. Very good and quick service. The environment is nice but font like the huge glass windows that allows everyone to look in. The food was at a good standard very tasty, with the beautiful spice that makes us all go back.

Very nice place to go very friendly staff they are very helpful. As usual nandos food is amazing. Would love to go back again with family and friends

Went there a Saturday night and the place was full. The food came after 30 mins but its was excellent. Will definitely go there.

I love Nandos but every time I go to this branch, it is always very busy and too stuffy. You are better off getting a take away and eating it in the comfort of your own home, but if you decide to get a take away from this branch, make sure to check you have everything before you leave!

Have been to this branch on a few occasions, and for some reason I've always had to send my chicken back as its burnt!I don't understand how this place manages to consistently burn the chicken, given the business model is based upon chargrilling!!Thankfully, on my most recent visit the manager replaced an entire chicken for me, which was appreciated. The chicken we first ended up with was horribly burnt and rated acrid and quite inedible. Was also let down due to there being no cutlery available for about 15 minutes!! Not sure how the staff can mismanage the dishwasher to the extent that there isn't any cutlery in a semi self service restaurant!! Also there was no working ice machine until we left; although to be fair a plumber had seemingly been called in to get it fixed during service, which is fair enough.I'll probably avoid this branch from now on though, on the basis I've he three lots of burnt chicken, on three different occasions!

Nandos is always reliable for tasty grilled chicken. Tried the tooting branch and found it pretty good as expected. The restaurant does feel a little cramped.

What can I say. Nando's is pretty awesome wherever you go. This branch in Tooting is nice. If you're going in the evening there is a nice buzz as it gets quite busy. Staff are friendly and always helpful

Nandos is great wherever you eat it. This nandos is located on tooting high street very easy to find and close to other shops and underground station too.Nice place to eat here when around tooting.

On the way back from a hectic shopping spree, stopped here for some food. We were shown a table promptly and the little one was given crayons to keep her occupied. The meal was ordered and one of the dishes was out of stock after numerous apologies a replacement was ordered. Great staff who helped us to choose from the menue and the meal was great (Halal so more for us to eat). Well done Nandos great service and food.

I'm a really regular customer and Ive always have had a great time but I'm sorry to say this time was really terrible as the food was raw and un-cooked,the staff was really moody and I didnt enjoy my food

I cant say I am a big fan but the kids love it here and the food is consistent. The staff are always very happy and helpful which adds to the appeal.

Went as we usually do once a month, staff slow and arguing very loudly. Too packed. Was sat with another couple. Then was asked to leave before we had even a Chance to have dessert as other people wanted our table. Got the wrong food , ate it anyway as I was so hungry from waiting and then it was cold in top of everything else.

Went with my mates and had a great time at Nandos. Service was great and loved the food. I recommend it everyone. Parking can be a issue but it's worth it.

Always good food healthy & quick. This isn't the most beautiful branch but definitely OK! The portobello sandwich is my fave. Recommend

Typical Nandos food but this one is full of students that makes it incredibly noisy. Efficiently run but most staff have trouble understanding English

Went shopping & tired went in Nando's. The guy took us in & gave us the menus but never gave the crayons for the kids menu. Went back to get them & the guy said they could find any... Sat down ordered meals & mine one was a wrap but all i could find in there were salad leaves & may be a couple of pieces of chicken no wonder i could taste any chicken & when i separated the leaves its was just the wrap left with a couple of pieces of chicken. My wife ordered the same in burger for herself & our daughter & the buns were do hard rock that i could use them for putting nails in the wall. Told them about that & maybe the guy taking it back didn't understand well & another guy brought the order back saying this is your table order... Yes this is our order but why are the buns so hard ??????. He said this his how they do it...no joy had to go with it as already paid & weren't even offered a replacement. At the end when i wanted to change the kids nappies was told that the disabled toilet is broken as it said a sign on it do not use & was locked. Went down & was told that there was no baby changing room at all. Had to change both babies on the floor out side the gents toilet as the gents was so pathetic. Smelling of pee, toilet roll everywhere, wash basins full with wet tissues... Floor wet & looked like it was never moped & the toilet seat itself needed a good clean... Came out of the toilet & spoke to the waitress downstairs that the mens toilet needs some attention but she said it wasn't her business & speak to the blonde lady who was the manager. Came upstairs & saw the manager serving at the tills with a queue so spoke to the guy who sat us in & he said he will let the manager know when she is free... What is the manager doing at the till any ways should she not be supervising the floors & making sure everyone was happy... Poor customer service & food i would say... Keeping in view That the toilets are the first & last impression of a restaurant.. Especially with the disabled toilet out of order...what would a disabled person do if he she needs toilet as the main pathetic toilets were downstairs... Wont go again...

A massive turnaround at this restaraunt and I think this is the best meal I had in any of its branches.Good Points:- Improved the cooking of the chicken and tastes exceptionally better. No coal bits on the chicken. - Large fries is properly "LARGE". Before they used to skint on the fries.- New staff very friendly- Free parking on weekdays after 5.30 pm.- Halal food servedNot so Good Points:- Kids meal portions (Nandinos) is quite small- Prices are just above reasonable- Decor looks tired- No colouring pads for children provided

very very busy place so the staff are run ragged and liable to seem slow but once you sit down and watch the proceedings you'll feel for them,good nando's staple fare but be prepared to wait

Top notch service, fast and delicious food.Only concern is that whenever coming here, my corn is always cold like it has not been grilled properly, but other than that chicken is top.

Our first ever visit to Nando's. Had some difficulty understanding how it worked as there was a language barrier. We ordered avocado and bean salad with chicken. It was very disappointing. The avocado was so hard it was not possible to eat it. The salad just a collection of leaves and a very small portion of chicken to boot.The waiter who took our order at the till explained the drinks "I give you the bottles and you go over ". He meant 'glasses' and you fill your own.Even though the place was quiet 3pm a coffee took ages to arrive. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but it is most unlikely I will ever frequent Nandos again.

It's Nandos - we all know what Nandos is about and the one in Tooting does a fine job. I found the staff to be really friendly, quick service and good food.No problems at all.

Of the Nando's we've eaten at this has to be one of the better ones - the wings are especially tasty - the Perinaise sauce is especially good - seems hotter than the version available in the supermarkets - could do with faster service, and cleaner tables, and more space to move between tables - but at the end of the day the food was pretty good.

Good service and staff who serve with a smile. The food is what you expect. Plenty of sauces (other outlets never seem to have the full range or enough bottles to go round). Parking is easy. A pleasant eating experience.

I'm a big fan of Nando's, I won't make any attempt to hide that face. Tasty chicken, hot-but-not-crazy-hot sauces, bottomless drinks, it's all good. I've been to a fair few around the UK, so I like to think of my self as a connoisseur. Or a pollogymist. I can safely say that this is one of the better ones. My wife and I visited the Tooting restaurant one hot Saturday afternoon. We were quickly served by a very friendly chap, the restaurant was clean and the food arrived quickly. All in all we were very happy and next time we're in the area we may well pop back (I like a bit of variety, if I'm jonesing for noodles who knows what may happen).

Visited there for my son's birthday all was lovely staff, food, & atmosphere will be going there again & again!

Given that a franchise is meant to be quite standardised, the Tooting branch misses the mark a little. Slightly chaotic, pretty slow to clean tables, and a shortage of table condiments that noone seemed very concerned about. However they still deliver the nando's menu, but the set up rather detracts from the overall value and (usual) enjoyment.

Great chicken in a family atmosphere. With 6 of us, we had the whole chicken, chicken wrap, chicken pita, and the boneless chicken and they were all great. Nice variety of sides to complement the chicken. I would highly recommend you try Nando's chicken.

The food and service here is great, however, it does get very busy at peak times, we have arrived on a Friday night to be told the wait for a table was an hour and a half! So pre book! The wait for a take away at peak times can also be a while, but worth the wait.

ristorante che si caratterizza per il pollo..si puo'avere un pollo intero,mezzo,un quarto,alette di pollo,filetto di pollo tutto fatto in vari modi e con varie salse da quella al limone e alle erbe a quella piccantissima..la qualita'e'buona..ci sono anche diversi antipasti e snack come noccioline,olive e patatine..insalate di vario tipo,,birre particolari come brasiliana o sudafricana e vari tipi di cheesecakes..il prezzo e'nella media..in generale lo consiglio per una cena abbondante e abbastanza economica

London ohne Nando's ist wie das fehlende Salz in der Suppe!! Jedes Mal, wenn ich London besuche, sind mehrere Besuche in Nando's Restaurants ein Muß. Das Essen dort macht "süchtig". Der Chickenbreast Burger mit den Peri-Peri French Fries ist total lecker. Man kann sich verschiede Sauchen mit an den Tisch nehmen und nach Belieben sein Essen würzen. Toll ist auch, das man sich die Soft Drinks so oft man will, immer wieder auffüllen kann. Somit bekommt für wenig Geld ein tolles Essen mit Getränken.Die Restaurants sind alle sehr mediteran eingerichtet und die Atmosphere ist total locker und entspannt. Es immer wieder ein leckeres Erlebnis bei Nando's Essen zu gehen.

i absoloootly love nandos...BUT they need to get themselves a better dishwasher.....the plates are ALWAYS dirty...stains/dried sauce etc.

The chicken here is said to be spicier. If you don't think so, they have a bottle of Extra, Extra Hot Peri-Peri Sauce!
