We went for weekend breakfast & it was understandably quite busy so the staff took a while to take our orders. I had pancakes which were very dry. Good thing it came with a few pieces of fresh fruit.

I came in to the alchemist after having a really bad day but Frankie one of the servers gave me really kind words and made my day so much better and brighter! I would come back to the alchemist just on how lovely and kind Frankie was … thank you so much for making my day better and the amazing drinks!!
Absolutely rubbish, went with family thought of great food.
The starters are from previous day's. Mains are okay hence 2 star.
The service and counter lady is useless asking us to pass the plates. Won't go again.
As I too from same place thought of having great food and service.
Which is utterly failed.
Bad experience with family.
We have been going here for years..the very best Chinese restaurant in London in our opinion
We love you lovely people...always so friendly and brilliant crispy lamb!!!!
We miss you . We hope you come back exactly as you were
All best wishes
The restaurant has been sold last week!!!!
No email to let me know I had a Xmas party of 7 people booked there!! We only find out when arriving at the door and placed it’s closed down!!!
Had a lovely breakfast here, sitting outside on a rare sunny morning in March. Food was great. Had a nice juice, and coffee too. Service was a little slow but it was busy. Depending on where you're sitting it can be quite congested with customers queuing for takeaways and tables around you but overall a good experience. Plus you're right by the common to go for a walk after.
I visited here for the first time with my Aunt. It is a small, quaint place that could be hard to miss. Despite this, I absolutely enjoyed my experience here. The staff were so friendly, warm and polite. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our evening and the food. The menu is not extensive, but there is something there for everyone. My Aunt and I had the fishcake main, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It tasted fresh along with the sides. The best part was the Baileys cheesecake... to die for... to top it off it was reasonably priced. You do have the option of doing a 2- or 3-course meal for £15-£19.50 or A La Carte menu. Either way, this is highly recommended and I will visit again.
Recomiendo.
Went there at weekend and there was a bailif notice on the door. They aren’t replying to message on their Facebook either Shame. Lovely food, great venue and friendly staff but now all gone.
Such a lovely independent place, amazing atmosphere, lovely people, authentic French cuisine. We had a private event for my sister’s birthday and they made everything so easy and relaxed. Cannot recommend highly enough!
