The Schoolhouse in Wandsworth

Went there at weekend and there was a bailif notice on the door. They aren’t replying to message on their Facebook either Shame. Lovely food, great venue and friendly staff but now all gone.

The guest beer was great, the sliders are amazing too. I went for brunch ended up staying all day and having dinner!!

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time, as well as good eats! I had the nutella french toast which was obviously to die for, yet my group also did the bottomless mimosas. We shared tons of laughs and the staff was super on top of it, to ensure our glasses were never empty. I would go as far to say that, out of our 10 day trip to London, from Indiana, this was one of the coolest things we did. Ollie is the absolute best employee! He was so kind and spent the time to talk with us! Beautiful atmosphere and great place to visit! If I ever get back to London, this is a must stop! :)

I had an incredible birthday here at the schoolhouse. The team were attentive, kind and generous with Prosecco, especially given there were loads of us. Would highly recommend for a birthday. Food was decent too

Food was tasty but portion size a little on the small side. Service was poor - there were three tables in the restaurant that night and two servers, yet it took 15 minutes for our drinks order (a bottle of wine) to be brought to us. It then took about 15 minutes for our bill to be brought over. While at the restaurant we saw a table of 3 come in and leave again because no one was there to greet them and take their order. It seems the staff preferred to be on the other side of the restaurant socialising rather than serving customers

Myself & my friends visit The Schoolhouse on a sunny Thursday evening. There was a nice crowd enjoying the outdoor seating, staff were friendly & helpful with recommending numerous delicious small plates for sharing. The arancini was delicious & they had some cool craft beers, would definitely come back to try their brunch too

the Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The school theme was also quite fun The food was also delicious, I really recommend the Fried Chicken Benedict, the steak sandwich was also very nice.

Such friendly hosts for my birthday dinner. Great value for bottomless and lovely food. Could not do more for you would highly recommend this place for a celebration close to Clapham Junction!

Should of known this wasn’t going to be a great experience when the staff had to scrabble around trying to find the menu which had the Sunday roast options on it……by the way it was a Sunday at 2.30pm so surely the menu would be at hand…….not everyone wants a brunch menu at that time of day Drinks were ordered, cocktails were nice and starter came, then it seem to take a while for the mains to arrive and once they did arrive one of them were missing, after the rest of the party had finished their food then the missing main course arrived, did ask for horseradish sauce for the beef but that never came. someone who seemed in charge did apologise for the very late/missing main course and offered a free round of drinks on the house. So to sum up, service was slow ,food was OK and cocktails were good but I wouldn’t recommend to others and won’t be returning

We visited on Mother’s Day with my 2 1/2 year old daughter. The food was delicious and the service was also great! They were very busy but still we’re on top of service and standards were still maintained. The staff were great with my daughter and I felt comfortable

We came on a Friday night for dinner with bottomless Prosecco! The food was amazing and the staff are so friendly. Very generous with the Prosecco top ups! Definitely recommend

I frequent this neighbourhood bar on St John's Hill. Each time I go there's something new on the food menu - the same can be said for the cocktails. Always great and the service is top. Usually have a great chat with the staff too, really friendly and just nice to be around on a night out... even had a fun debate with the young lad about who's better, Ronaldo or Messi! (it's Messi) :D Will definitely be back soon!

We visited on a Friday evening, enticed by the 2-1 offer till 630pm. They refused to honour this stating it was still on their website only because Google hadn't removed it! The staff were friendly. The food was mediocre. The menu sparse with only 'cheap' eats. The chicken wings were ok if sparse. The burgers were expensive though. Not a bad meal but not a good one! Will we be back? Probably not as there as so many other better places in St Johns Hill, Clapham.

Excellent food, service and general atmosphere. Booked the bottomless dinner with unlimited Prosecco. All was great except the Prosecco was a cheap French fizz and not Italian. That aside all was very good and would highly recommend it

I found out the Schoolhouse was doing Sunday Roast so we booked in. As a roast-aholic, the bar has been set high. There are a lot of good roasts in London, some very good ones, and a few exceptional - and the Schoolhouse is up there with the best. The meat was tender and flavoursome, a lot of veggies and great roasties. The star of the show was the red wine gravy (gluten free if memory serves - though you couldn't tell). The default option was yorkie on top with gravy poured into it - so request your yorkie on the side if you prefer to save it for the end. We had some drinks too - the bloody mary curing my hangover and the beers and cocktails contributing to one for the day after. The staff were really friendly and helpful, excellent with checking for allergens in the food and happy to help with the split bill at the end. This wasn't my first time at the Schoolhouse and it definitely won't be the last. Looking forward to the next visit!

Bottomless brunch offer is good and they are good at topping up when you need more. My beef burger was decent but others said their chicken burger was very dry. Wouldn’t go there for the food alone but it had good atmosphere for brunch

We had an absolutely incredible time at the Schoolhouse. 4th July, Super Saturday and we really celebrated being back together and out and about. The team were fantastic, so kind and helpful - despite having to adapt the venue and ways of working to be covid-safe. The menu was small but delicious and we had an absolute blast. The team were so helpful and flexible and we can’t wait to go back. Thanks for doing such a fab job of reopening and helping us return to the new normal!

Went here for brunch the first day that restaurants opened after lockdown. Appreciate that things are still new but The Schoolhouse had measures in place for socially distanced seating, track and trace forms for x2 households to complete and bar service for ordering. The menu was quite limited compared to what's on the website but the food was still good. We asked for bottomless brunch but were turned down as the whole table must do it and we had one person at our table who's allergic to prosecco. That was a bit disappointing so we had cocktails and pints instead. We were given an extra pint even though we didn't order it. We tried to advise that we didn't order this and were told that we'd still be charged so had no choice but to drink and pay for it. The Espresso martinis were good.

Nos quedamos preguntándonos qué hacer, bajo la lluvia torrencial, y luego como un faro (¡en realidad era una bola de brillo interior!) La escuela nos atrajo (¡nada que ver con la Happy Hour anunciada y también aceptó el trato de Meerkat!) Y decidimos recibir un servicio excelente: la mejor hamburguesa en mucho tiempo y una ensalada excelente. ¡Gracias, Schoolhouse, por salvarnos de la sensación de haber sido detenidos por el restaurante casi al lado!

I have been to The Schoolhouse several times, but never for the Bottomless Brunch. The rules were made clear to us, the staff were brilliant and the food was lovely. Will definitely come back again for this! Special credit to one member of staff whose name I did ask but have now forgotten - the Australian lady.

If you want a lively, noisy, chilled out restaurant/bar this is the place to come!Waitresses were excellent, food was good not a huge menu so made deciding what to have so much easier. 2 Vegan options available if desired. Open for large parties which was why it was so noisy and personal space was encroached! Decor was great as was designed as a school house which was novel.

A group of us booked for bottomless brunch for a friend's birthday. As soon as we arrived staff were welcoming and friendly and explained all the "rules" to us, encouraging us to set a timer to keep track of our brunch time limit. The mixers to add to the prosecco were a nice touch as sometimes bottomless prosecco can get a bit much after a few glasses. All of our meals were thoroughly enjoyed, I would in particular recommend the huevos rancheros with added chorizo (it's worth the extra!) The hash browns with harissa and cheese were also delicious and soaked up the booze. My friend was given a free birthday brownie which was a lovely touch.Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning for brunch in future - there are many more dishes on the menu I want to try!

Soy un asistente regular de Schoolhouse y creo que es un establecimiento absolutamente fantástico. El sábado pasado fui a almorzar con The Headmaster’s siendo excelente, y luego regresé a cenar el mismo día para los mejores nachos que he probado. Los amigos ordenaron la pila de pollo y también dijeron que era la mejor hamburguesa de pollo que habían probado. Gran selección de cervezas de barril y excelente personal. No puedo felicitarlo lo suficiente

I've only come here on Tastecard which makes it excellent value for money. Have been here a few times - it is "school" themed with wooden chairs / stools, boardgames and nostalgic references throughout the restaurant. The food itself is good but definitely nothing to shout about, and service is good. Not sure I'd rush to come back if I were paying full price but have no complaints otherwise.

We ordered, what was described as, freshly squeezed orange juice, for £3.95 per glass, only to then witness the bar staff serving us carton orange juice. When we called them out they said, oh we do have fresh orange juice if you want it?!?

Great cocktails, and we were there for happy hour and the best bit of all they took our taste card which gave us 20%off of our food bill, not that it was expensive! Well done guys! Will be back.
