Such a beautiful town! The castle is a fantastic experience, staff were so friendly and helpful. The displays were stunning and well displayed, lovely to see. We were on a tour so couldn't spend as much tie as we would have liked. Highly recommend, hope to come again.

If your an English history buff this is a place for you. A nice place to visit and see where the Queens considers her favourite place to stay. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept. You can see where Prince Harry and Magen were married.

The castle was nice, buy your ticket online and you can jump the queue which was good as there were large queues. Was busy in the castle at times and the ground would have been beautiful in spring when the flowers are out blooming. I feel completely in love with the St. George’s chapel, the craftsmanship that went into this is completely stunning, every part of the chapel has amazing joinery skills and is decorated with individual carvings of scenery so keep your eye out and look out for this.

We were there as part of a tour. Stood in the queue for 45 minutes until opening. Enjoyed the tour of the state apartments and the chapel.

We were lucky enough to get to experience this magnificent castle as part of our trip to London! The rich and royal history is astounding. The queen was actually in residence while we were there but we didn't get to see her. There is quite a lot of walking so it's not for those unable to walk distances. We got to see residence areas and the queen's entertaining area. Everything was so elegant! They also have really good royal ice cream, made from milk obtained from cows on the property! Overall a great experience!

We went here on a family trip to London. Three families five kids ages 9 to 12. Of all the things we saw on a trip this was one of the most amazing in architecture and British history and in collections. More art, more knight's armor, and more British history than than you can imagine in one place. Windsor Castle itself is bigger and more impressive than most anything man-made I have ever seen. Be prepared for a bit of a line but it is well worth the wait.Do yourself a favor and put this early on your sightseeing tour list as he will not be disappointed.

Windsor Castle is a very picturesque place full of history and beauty. I visited in November and was lucky with the weather. The opening hours are 10 am - 5 pm.The entrance fee is 20 £ per person. Usually there is a long queue, so u might want to buy the tickets online beforehand. The castle has so many rooms to explore, from banquette rooms to libraries, special exhibition of the queens dresses and the royal Christmas tree! Don't forget to get the free audio guide to learn in details about royal life. There is also a shopping area close by. Windsor Castle is surrounded by a beautiful river and acres of wonderful top hills. I highly recommend visiting Windsor castle !

This pub is now part of a chain and the food is the standard at Taylor-Walker pubs. The food was ok but not what we were expecting to find. The menu was not teribbly varied and catered little for vegetarians.

A trip from London to Windsor is a must if you are a history &/or royalty buff. The castle is not a 100% open to public - but has amazing displays of an era gone-by (or has it?)A day-spend is lovely - with the nearby cafes and the fascinating river - which has swans by the throngs and little boats with locals and tourists.Royally Charming!

Any time I come in here, I always end up chatting to someone, the staff, a local, whoever, always ends up a good night. This used to be one of my locals when I lived around here, and it is a really good place for meeting up after work, at least it was for me anyway, I don't know whether the Grand is even open anymore, but we used to go to the 80's night in there after here, great times. And still a great place now!

A small litle gem in Clapham JunctionThis is one of the pub branches from Original Pub Co. It has three different sitting areas, one at the front entrance which is much smaller, a larger sitting area at the other entrance. There is a backyard sitting area for smokers too. I walked past the premise a few times and saw their advertisement about £3.49 meals. Went there with my partner and had a £6 Original loaded burger which is huge and massive. Couldn't finish it and the guy at the bar gave me a doggy bag to bring home the other half of the burger. Overall it is a nice pub for cheap pub meal, it gets very busy on a weekend and food order only serve until 8pm. So be there early! Soccer-friendly too!Highly recommended if you like a typical English pubIf you think my reviews/tips are awesome and helpful, click 'Yes' for 'Was this review helpful?'

Similary restaurants in London

We were looking forward to dinner as a family in a restaurant with decent European food. Unfortunately they have changed the decor from what’s in the pictures to something much cheaper, which was a shame. Then we were presented with a Bar Menu for dinner with only burgers and sandwiches for dinner in a restaurant. Disappointed, we carried on and ordered the Chicken Burgers, one was burnt and one had the wrong sauce. They kindly took them back but then replaced them with what looked like the same burgers. The prices were also extremely high - restaurant prices for bar food! Unfortunately we won’t be back.

Went for a birthday celebration. Our usual dining preference is a definite cuisine with homestyle cooking and no pretension. Once a year or so we do a fine dining option. She is vegetarian, I am less fussy. I am a good home cook, she works in the restaurant trade and we are sympathetic to current difficulties. We didn’t need to be so here; OK so I usually blench at the sight of a man tweezering food and waitstaff that serves the first course with “Let’s start our journey”,; it often signals a night of pretension and not much else, but this was excellent cooking and service to back it up. There is a £65 four course menu and a £85 tasting menu incl a veg option. We had the 4 course. Yes the portions are small, its not quite the ‘bag of chips on the way home’ scenario but its not gluttony either and ‘langoustine’ is exactly what it says. One langoustine, £15 additional option, doubtless because of the dab of caviar on the top of it, but it was the most perfectly cooked specimen I have ever had. They don’t travel well and often past their best before they arrive at a kitchen. The brioche melted in the mouth, the risotto was al dente but not raw and the parmesan crisp on top of it had obviously taken a lot of work, a sea bream ceviche was seriously fresh and beautifully balanced. The monkfish delicate and moreish. The wine list is expensive but that’s how it is these days – deal with it. The (presumably) head chef with the tweezers had obviously put in a lot of hard work in prep before he picked them up. Watching the kitchen staff in the open kitchen you saw zero macho heroics and a lot of surefooted care. The room wasn’t full all night and so I cannot vouch for the noise level past that, but mercifully no-one had turned up a ‘curated’ playlist. Service was attentive without being obsequious; you don’t usually get a recommendation for a Ukrainian ‘shots bar’ at the post dinner chat – we will check it out on a less refined evening. Really enjoyed it, you would be hard pressed to find better at this style of cooking and certainly not at this price level. Definitely worth a visit. Damn fine stuff.

The restaurant is located directly on the Thames and has a circular floor to ceiling glass layout. The ground floor is essentially a coffee shop that serves meals and the first floor is a restaurant. An ideal place for a relaxed meal. Good food, friendly staff, and excellent views of the river. The breakfast pancakes are not to be missed.
