As far as I am concerned the mini-chain Pilpel does the best falafels in London, and beyond. Always freshly prepared, crispy outside and soft inside, extremely well fried, they go into the pitta or container which is then generously filled with all the vegetable trimmings (or any selection of them you want). The personnel is generally friendly and well-trained and efficient. Prices, while of course they have gone up in the last few years, are still very reasonable and certainly in line with those of competitors, which often do not come near this level of quality.

Food was great. Service was poor. All the food is ready to go on hot plates. All they have to do is put it in a box that is front of them in a counter and take your money. Only 2 people ahead of us in the line. Somehow the concept baffled them and it took 30 minutes to get our food. Too preoccupied with Uber eats and Deliveroo orders. Normally you go into a place like this and it takes a couple of minutes to get your food. Arrived late for an event due to the this.

A small, inconspicuous pub with a very nice atmosphere. The drinks are nothing special and not exactly cheap. You can expect to spend over £10 here and there isn't a lot of alcohol in it - it's a shame. Nevertheless, I can recommend the pub because it is a great place to spend time with friends and there is also a large selection of card and board games.

I had spent the first 8 hours travelling from Glasgow to the NFL game at White Hart Lane and after only stadium food I decided that on my return to my hotel I'd find an Indian restaurant to enjoy some proper food in. I found it. Despite it being just me in my NFL shirt I got a table immediately and was well looked after. The food was well cooked - to me it seemed like home cooking - and spiced but not burn your mouth hot. Which is what I love - to be able to taste the food rather than have a Chilli mouth ! I love trying new dishes (for me) and had the Muguch Tawa. Delicious. It felt so good just to sit, eat, listen to the authentic background music - not intrusive - and chill. Next time I'm in that part if London ill be back. The only downside? I left my NFL programme on the seat I think.

The waiter who takes your order is friendly and the curry is really delicious. There are plenty of seats for two, so you don't have to worry about going alone. If the price is this high, it seems like a good place to be in London... You must try curry in London!!
