My friend lives nearby & this was my 2nd visit . Your fresh bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese were heavenly, as were the pastries to follow. The challah is equally amazing. In fact everything you sell looks wonderful. I just wish we had a wonderful Jewish bakery and deli in Birmingham. Rinkoffs is a welcoming friendly local cafe selling top quality delicious food and is a real asset to the local community as well as to visitors from further afield. I cannot recommend it highly enough,

A friend of mine has been using Rinkoff's since he was a boy and I have always enjoyed their bread and pastries when I visit him. With a new freedom pass in hand I decided to head over to Whitechapel and I wasn't disappointed. The bakery is great on price and quality and the challah reminded me of the bread I used buy from the Jewish bakers in West Hampstead when I was a lad some 50 odd years ago. Sheynem dank. I will be back soon.

I came to Trip Advisor just to see what people were saying and I'm honestly shocked....I've never left a review before but I had to say something. You lot complaining about prices are out of your minds. Have you seen how expensive the rent is in East London now? And the rise in food prices? And have you been to other places in the area and around Brick Lane? Smh lol. The only reason Beigel Bake on Brick Lane is cheaper is because they have constant traffic coming through there 24/7. I've been going to to Rinkoff's for about 26 years now and I've never had a single item which wasn't top quality. I'm not a Croudough guy but their Cheesecake is some of the best in London and their Bread is to die for. Also the Mini Danish is a classic from my childhood. There are some strange people out there who seemingly will hate on anything. The regulars will never let you down though don't listen to these yuppies who just came to East from the countryside. Thankyou always people!

Rinfoff bakery is no ordinary Bakery in any sense. Of course their baked goods are superb. I love their apple strudel, the cheese cake and their delicious black bread and bagels are superb. But there is something about the Rinkoff Bakery that satisfies your soul as well as your appetite for delicious baked goods. Their historical tour around east London because the Rinkoff Bakery is the last Jewish Bakery left in East London. The tour combined with a delicious salmon and cream cheese bagel and samples of their baked goods is entitled "Walk, Talk and Bake". And this is precisely what you do as you start your journey at Liverpool Street station Infront of the statue depicting the Jewish children brought to London from Germany during WWII. The Arrival is an outdoor bronze memorial sculpture by Frank Meisler, located in the forecourt of Liverpool Street Station. It commemorates the 10,000 orphaned Jewish children who escaped Nazi persecution and arrived at the station during 1938–1939. The memorial was installed in September 2006. This is a trip through the oldest part of London with 2000 years of continuous history seen from the Jewish perspective. As Esther tells the story of how her family fits into the juxtaposition of such a fascinating history. My father's Hugneot ancestors are buried there too because this part of London embraced the refugees fleeing persecution throughout history. It would be impossible to give a brief synapsis of the vast hisyof this part of London but suffice to say that this history is like a long deep dark well with many stories to tell throughout the ages! But the Rinkoff family perspective starts with the grand father Rinkoff fleeing the persecution of the Zsar and the pogroms. With the Rinkoff family came the knowledge to make fine baked goods and in some respects you could call the journey of travelling in time with the Rinkoff family like a sort of Jewish Geography class. A book has been published about the history of the Rinkoff family available on Amazon. Esther Rinkoff gives you a tour of this part of East London that only she could tell living on the streets for all these years all her heart felt knowledge of the daily lives of friends and family is quite s touching experience. After Esther's tour of East London you can never be a stranger in east London again! But of course the good Rinkoff food is intertwined in this historical love fest of fascinating memories. You get something money can't buy a living piece of history by just as Esther says "walking, talking and baking!"

I’ve visited the Rinkoff Bakery on Jubilee St several times in the last few months and have always enjoyed my visits. The coffee is excellent - few places make coffee this good; and the selection of crodoughs and other pastries is delicious. My favourites are the pistacchio ones. I have also bought a selection of cholla and bread rolls that have been reasonably priced and really lovely. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the place gives off a really lovely community spirit. Definitely worth my 2 buses to get here!! Long may they be in business!!

Not value for monay. Tiniest lemon load slice for £3! Not great tasting and it seems like the have reduced products to nearly half their size and also increased price. Cost price for a lemon loaf £2.50-3.00 they are making 9 times more back from 10 slices a loaf! Very stodgy too.Babka loaf up to £6.50 and almost half the size too! Will not be coming back as never worth the hype. Community bakery been there for years but not really reflecting comm prices. Please rev portion sizes and price as you are making more money back at a time when people are unable to afford a trip to their local bakery. Review by a comm member who was born and brought up in Stepney!

It took us a while to locate this bakery, but it was worth the trek from Surrey. There was a variety of different bakes and cakes, but the most aesthetically pleasing were the crodoughs. They were absolutely mind-blowing! Worth the return any day!

Not sure why all the hype tbh. I ordered a beef bagel and asked if I wanted it hot which I did. The beef was warmed on a griddle for 2 secs and still cold when I got it. The mustard was from tescos and the pickles weren’t nice and sharp. It wasn’t terrible just not worth £6.95 Brick lane is far better. I did buy some of their Crodoughs which are nice again just not worth £4 a doughnut. I disagree with comments about it being dirty. I’ll go back to try the bread which looks epic.

The Mile end store which I know is not the cleanest of place. The whole place needs a refurbishment from top to bottom. Well there are loads of things I can say here but keeping it simple, hygiene is something to consider.

Tucked away just off the Mile End Road this fabulous old fsmily bakery speiiialises in traditional European bread and cakes - and does a mean line in Crodoughs - a wicked confection that crosses donuts with croissants - traditionalists blench and the pounds pile on - but just try the Dulce de Leche with White Chocolte Crodough😹😹

I just bought a small baguette earlier today and was charged an astronomical £2.20! If the prices had been on display, I would never have made a purchase at such an extortionate price but I am writing this review so others know what to expect.

Dry bagels (didn’t taste anything like bagels should) and barely any filling. We were so disappointed - we pass this place regularly and thought we’d give it a try instead of the Brick Lane Beigel Bake. Won’t make that mistake again.
