The best restaurants in Southwark London

Just had a very filling and satisfying lunch at Bayroot. Staff is very friendly and place was clean. Very good value for money!

An interesting "take-away-but-not-too-far" concept. An artsy restaurant where the bathroom is, hands down, the real masterpiece (honestly, if I ever get IBS, that's where I'd want to be stuck). We ordered a tasty bowl filled with a random assortment of ingredients plus salmon, served in a premium disposable container (guess the dishwasher was feeling lazy that night). The music was fantastic, featuring a polyrhythmic experience complete with unexpected short tacets, occasionally turning into full-on silences. The waiter was friendly and welcoming, so much so that he even let us in on the secret menu items. The downside? Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

I recently visited and had a BLT bagel with a coffee. The bagel was really tasty and fresh, which I loved! The coffee, while decent, wasn't anything extraordinary. The café had a lively and busy atmosphere, which I appreciated, but the space is a bit tight. If it had been fully packed, I probably wouldn't have stayed. Also, the long seats weren't very comfortable for a longer visit. Overall, a good experience with great food. Food is very well priced too!

Really high quality Malaysian food in Bermondaey Street. Lovely ambience for a Saturday evening. Had the golden prawns and chicken satay for starters which was super tasty. The prawn char kuay teow was flavoursome and spicy (portion could have been a little bigger.)

I went to caravaggio for lunch this afternoon I had a lovely mixed fish skewers with Lobster sauce I highly recommend Caravaggio restaurant in Camberwell Moreover the staff members are lovely, they are so friendly and professional I loved this experience once again in caravaggio, I am coming back very soon. En general, muy buena comida. En particular, las gambas al ajo son increíbles, si prueba este lugar, asegúrese de ordenar las gambas! Y también un grito para el hachís de bacalao salado, muy buena comida. La selección de vinos también es muy buena , y el restaurante tiene un ambiente muy agradable con asientos «En el mostrador». Otro punto álgido fue el pastelito Pasteis de Nata simple pero tan efectivo para el desierto, con un encantador helado de canela. Una vez más, un must try. La única desventaja importante para mí, y la razón por la que no tiene 5 estrellas, es que uno de los platos que pedimos fue el arroz de pato y chorizo. Simplemente no funciona. Sabor muy limitado y poco de qué gritar, llegaría a decir que es soso. El restaurante tiene que reconsiderar este plato. No se hizo ninguna queja ya que admiro el intento de creatividad pero no funciona.

I am not a fan of icecream or gelato, but this was a delicious treat. The chocolate was creamy and luscious as was the berry gelato. Huge portions which we divided. Not a single ice-crystal in the gelato! Literally like eating it freshly churned in our home kitchen. I will make the trek to go back.

Absolutely amazing as usual, 10/10 every time!

We were looking for this place missing it three times with GPS and were not able to find it. After 25min of search one guy told us that this place “is gone”...

Heerlijk eten, vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers, schone omgeving. Niks op aan te merken dus en zeker de moeite waard.

Such a shame as we had such a nice time here. But no cash accepted. This is beyond a joke. We are in England and can’t spend English money. Hate that so much!

Great venue to after show drinks as we were staying at Premiere Inn at The Cut… just to say special thanks for excellent customer service from “Marcus” made us feel welcome and was good to see that kind of attention… thankyou

Fantastic staff, food and vibe. We've eaten here many times and always come away delighted. One of the best restaurants in Peckham. Go, it's brilliant.

Food is fresh, tasty, great portion size, very addictive, definitely worth the cost, would love to hire them for an event that's how good their food is. Go grab you some food from Nam Nam. Have a regular customer in me(normally order through Uber Eats)
