Curry Den in Southwark

Order Online from the Curry Den for the first time and the food was very very good. Lovely rice and very flavoured Curry.

My food has always been perfect here. Only live down the road. There saag dishes are amazing. And the tikka I always order. Naan bread.... get the cheese one with your dish. And they give you a free vegetable dish on orders over £20 and normal some extra popadoms. Friendly inside there too. Would 100% recommend best Indian you’ll have. Looking forward to my dinner I’ve just delivered tonight too :)

I always order from hear but tonight was so disappointing food was bland and cold and was missing the drinks I rang to let them know and they agreed to send them again that was 35mins ago so I'm sitting hear eating cold, bland dry food come on curry den pull ya socks up

The best shop in town. I love their food and service. They're all friend and nice people. I always order home but also like visiting their shop. In a short summary, 10/10. Keep it up fellows

Good arrived hot and on time but was quite bland. Still tasty but had better.

Decent korma, samosa spicy chicken wings, and ice-cream. Unfortunately the Bhaji was a wet sauce dish rather than the fried batter type - so wasn't eaten.

The other times we ordered from Curry Den we had excellent experiences. The food is amazing and the people who delivers them are super friendly. However, our experience today wasn't the best. It took around one and a half hours to arrive and what it did it was missing our order of pilau rice. Maybe it was a busy night but hopefully our next experience with Curry Den wouldn't be a repeat of tonight.

Cold food, delivery was over two hours and when i pointed this out to the delivery guy he proceeded to argue with me over it as if it wasn't me that made the order. The lamb was soooo burnt that it crumbled when i picked it up. Of course i caled them to exchange it in which they told me would take another half an hour (probably 1 hr knowing them now). Bad service, semi-bad food (I really enjoyed their chips even though they were cold) and a bad experience. Will honestly never order from here again and if i had read the reviews beforehand I really wouldn't have made such a mistake. Always read reviews people!!'

This use to be my favorite Indian restaurant but this meal let them down

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD.Very poor service, very rude staff, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. HAVE been waiting 2 and a half hours for the food still not here. Shameful really, called to ask what's going on, staff said calling the driver, called back and he told us he forgot to call the deliver, absolutely SHOCKING. worst experience ever. Worst service EVER, shouldnt be on Justeat. FOOD WAS DISGUSTING, OILY, COLD, TASTELESS, POINTLESS. AGAIN DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

Took over 2hours to come, cheesy naan made with cheap cheese singles not very appealing. Ordered chicken korma and a peshwari naan also these were very good, only luke warm by the time they arrived. Pre- ordering seems to make no difference. But overall most of the food is good, just be prepared to heat it up again yourself....

Good portions! Like the Okra and butter chicken! Some things a bit bland, but better bland than weird tasting or cheap tasting.

very average food although the ingredients including the meat were good quality. Delivery time just not right: twice the advertised time (90min), no notice from the shop it is being delayed.

Curry was terrible, hardly edible

Over an hour late, food was cold, driver couldn't work out how to get into the building, had to go out in the rain to get it myself. Also, last time I got food from here I got salmonella and was bed ridden for over 3 days. Wont use again.

The meal (rice and the chicken) was too spicy and could not eat it. We specifically said not to make the chicken too spicy as children would be eating this meal. The chicken was burnt and they did not give any salad or sauce with the meal.

Everything was wrong. One hour late and the food is really bad: dry prawns, overcooked rice, even the cheese nam was disgusting.

The food arrived cold and really not up to standard. It was horrible. The butter chicken tasted of coconut instead of cream. The rice was frozen in the middle.

Foods was tasty and well cooked looking forwards for another order again.

Samosa was flavourless The mixed starters and tikka starter had a lot of water in the container like it had been microwaved, chicken pakora was soggy instead of crispy and the garlic naan was full of grit it was like eating a spoonful of sand i will never order again

Very tasty, ordered peshwari naan amd it was perfectly cooked, still soft and not chewy! Also ordered lamb masala very spicy but nice, dessert was ok ice cream which came prepackaged in a porcelin bowl, weird but tasted OK.

Took over an hour to be delivered, yet the place is 6 minutes drive away. I phoned after waiting 50 minutes. They said it was on its way. It turned up 15 minutes later. I like to assume that people generally tell the truth, but in this case all the evidence suggests they lost/forgot the order and lied about it. I would much rather they tell the truth to be honest. The food was good quality.

Very good portions for the price! Okra (bhindi bhaji) was superb! Got extra free poppadom w/order. Lamb biryani was good and meaty. Saag aloo was also very nice. Will order again for sure!

Ordered chicken and lamb biryani. Essentially it's the same rice with chopped pieces of chicken or lamb. Both equally disappointing and inedible as per me - had to throw most of the food sadly.

Having ordered and paid for a bottle of coke which it clearly states opposite and on the printed reciept you provided I don't expect it to be substituted for a can of coke that arrived with my order, not impressed at all...

For the third time in a row the curry has taken over an hour and 20 minutes to get here. The food is good but the delivery service is terrible

Took an hour and a half to arrive on a Sunday afternoon (not typically a busy time). Didn't even apologise once for this either. Customer service was poor, food was ok but nothing special. Relatively cheap compared to other takeaways and portion sizes very reasonable but overall service cannot compete with other local takeaways. Disappointed.

Service and timing were good however food was too plain for my liking. Curry and prawn cocktail were far too watery however meat tasted good.

Food was not hot when i received the meal and the biryani was very bland. No salad also provided with the meals which is usually complimentary at most takeaways. The sauce that came with the biryani was also very bland and tasted of nothing

It takes time (and heartache) searching for a decent curry. I rarely leave comments online but I honestly can't recommend these guys enough. The quality of the meat is tender, it isn't swimming in grease and the flavours are really well put together. Plus, the portion size is generous enough to leave a little left over for the following day - I've actually woken up excited at the prospect of finishing off leftovers in the past. Order from here and the search for your curry house is over - no reason to look any further. Great service too. Keep doing what you're doing guys :)

The food was 25 minutes late, they apologised and threw in extra sundries by way of an apology, busy evening. When it arrived though it was beautiful, couldn't fault it whatsoever. I believe in second chances so will go there again.

Always brilliant. I have ordered from Curry Den several times now, and the quality of their food always amazes me. With lighting fast delivery, and brilliant flavourful curries, I can recommend this place very strongly.

I looked at reviews and thought it would be good, and it was delicious. Excellent veggie food too.

I'm so torn. This was one of the best take-aways I have ever had but the service was awful. On a bank holiday I would understand longer waiting times but I can not forgive lying. After an hour we called for an update and where told that the food had already left so asked to bear with the restaurant. 25 minutes later (after another call) scalding hot food arrived. There is no way that a meal that hot (so hot we burnt our mouths) had been out and about in a vehicle for over 25 minutes. No way at all. Conclusion being we must have been forgotten and then lied to. To add to the poor service the onion salad did not arrive and we were not reimbursed. Although it is only 50p, the principle is important. What a dilemma, amazing food but dreadful service... I'm not sure there will be a next time but the restaurant could easily have been our new favourite if only the staff had been honest with us

Its a tasty curry but the last two times i have ordered I have had problems. The first being it 2 hours to get to me and the second my order was the wrong meat; I was delivered chicken rather than lamb.

The food is very poor quality the don't even worth a pound.

I tried a curry from here 6 days ago and have returned 3 more times. That's 4 times in 1 week, haha. So yeah I think that speaks for itself. Food tastes fresh, clean and above all delicious! Highly recommended.
