This place is great, it’s calm and the owner is charming, along with great pastéis de bacalhau, proper imported 5.2% super bock for £2.50 which is rare to find these days as supermarkets often sell the weak 4.6% version. Ask for the homemade hot sauce too!

Lovely owner. Feels very authentic, like you’ve been plucked out of London and dropped in a Portugal. The one place I can get my sardine pate! Lovely tarts

We had a nice hot chocolate and sponge cake here. Nice little cafe and they sell Portuguese cheese and sausages. Always love them, but haven’t tried the black pig sausages. Will update here later. Pay parking nearby, £2.8 an hour. The owner is friendly and food and drinks are good value for money.

this lovely cafe/deli has become an important fixture in Camberwell - a great place to have a coffee and Portuguese pastry, and buy some smoked sausage or cheese to take home. Such a friendly owner.

Portuguese groceries, including great brand of tinned tuna & green olives. I go in usually for a banter with the owners, the regulars and have an espresso or dbl machiatto (pingado/cortado) and one of the amazing breaded fried risoles, w prawn or beef surrounded by potato. They also do a 33cl Sagres or Super Boc (latter is 'autentico' not served elswhere. The import one sucks, this one is amazing! Especially at £2.50 a bottle. Also 250ml red & white portugues box wine (but great!) also snip at £2.50. And wash the savouries down well. I dont eat cakes but the Pastis de Nata & Bolas de Ris (rice flour sponge cake) are perfect w a coffee or tea...

A fantastically friendly service. They have everything you can possibly need (even frozen "frango de churrasco"). I grew up surrounded by the items sold here so, coming here is such a pleasure, I can't help but overspend in Guarana and Compal Juices.

Pela primeira vez na minha vida que me levam mais caro por uma italiana (café curto) do que um café normal. E ainda ter como resposta " É o meu preço". Desaconcelho a ida a este café.

Very friendly little Portuguese café and delicatessen. Normally visit here after going out for lunch in the vicinity of this area for an espresso and pastry/cake combination. Have been here a few times now and never been disappointed. Pushchair friendly too, enough space to tuck the pushchair in.

Great little place to have a pasteis de nata and a coffee, or a beer and a snack, like the prego or bifana sandwiches which are excellent. Has a great selection of Portuguese produce to buy, can highly recommend the cheese and chorizo. The owner is lovely, really friendly and helpful, great recommendations on what to try. We love coming here!

I'm glad I stopped by. I enjoyed my oat flat white which greatly complemented the croissant I got. The croissant was a great bake. It was soft whilst retaining its airiness and flakiness. The notes of salt enhanced the sweetness without it being overbearing. I will definitely be returning to try their other baked goods. The Little Bread Pedlar in Bermondsey is situated under the arches and there wasn't seating available. There was a slender "counter" outside where you could rest your coffee but the space was limited. It's located 10 minutes away from the river Thames, so I got to enjoy both the coffee and croissant at Bermondsey Beach.

I was super underwhelmed. My wife had been telling me I have to come here (she heard from her friend it was a great sports bar) so when she was working in Elephant and Castle, I jumped at the chance to come across and grab a pint. It is rare I grab just one pint but I did... I arrived early at 1pm, granted- and the bar staff did jump up and serve me. Everyone that then visited over the next 30/45 mins seemed to be friends of the bar staff, they were all chilling and smoking and chatting- which is fine- but it felt very non- welcoming. I just didn't get the vibe that this place really wanted to engage we me- and I love beer so that's a shame. Everyone was pleasant- no issues- just maybe try and remove that "club" culture and discuss work politics on the benches outside. Unfortunately I won't be coming back- which is a shame because I was looking for a new sports bar to watch footy in. Maybe it's better in match days... who knows.

Great café with a warm atmosphere and welcoming staff. Had lunch here before visiting the Imperial War Museum, which isn't too far of a walk. I had ordered a the chicken and sun-dried tomatoes panini with freah mint tea, both of which would great. Would recommend if you were wanting to eat outside of the IWM or if you so happen to be in the area for other reasons.
