Caffe Pronto in Southwark

Very nice neighbourhood cafe with a sprawling menu of sandwiches and bagels.

This place is right by my workplace, and the quality matches the convenience. I recommend any of their paninis. They make a good cappuccino too. They're always really friendly and welcoming and I like supporting their business.

Visit to Kings college today and pop in to this cafe very clean ,big menu ,and very friendly. You must try if you some good food . Will be going again next time we go to kings

Sadly I didn’t take pictures but they do fantastic breakfasts (eggs royale/ florentine, etc) and great sandwiches AND have specialty coffee, with all the barista alternative milks, which is not immediately clear when you come in. My favourite place to eat and have specialty coffee on that street, and I tried them all.

I popped into the café on my way home on Saturday. It wasn't crowded and had a cozy atmosphere. The fondant was particularly delicious; the chocolate was melty and rich. Highly recommend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I asked for the Wi-Fi password, he told me with a warm smile.

Small hidden local gem. Good English breakfast, great coffee ,tea and tasty smoothies. Menu has good variety including kid friendly items. The cafe is halal. Overall good experience and will visit again.

Delicious breakfasts with a wide range of options for the vegetarians and vegans. The cafe is in a very accessible location at the heart of Camberwell, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming - My 16 year old son loves it and he would recommend it to all ages!

Absolutely delicious sourdough breakfast with poached egg, spinach and mushrooms. Amazing ginger beet blueberry smoothie. Perfect cappuccino coffee and faultless friendly service. Simply superb.

ONE OF THE BEST MOCHAS.. been coming to this cafe for almost 6-7 months and truly one of the best mochas I’ve ever had. The staff is very polite and professional. I even told my colleagues to give it a try and they loved it as well.

Their English breakfast is to die for. Quality ingredients and so tasty. Not cheap, but you can't produce that with these ingredients and not charge for them. Great coffee too. Thank you.

Wow, I just had the full English breakfast with chips and a large cappuccino. It was absolutely delicious. I knew it was going to be good as soon as I smelled the chips. I’m not keen on the turkey bacon, but the rest was superb. Thank you.

Popped in here after my hospital appointment at kings. Had a lovely breakfast and my daughter had a bacon sandwich was very pleased nice hot and fresh. Staff are lovely and make you feel welcome pop in next time you are in denmark hill you will always want to go back 😀

The food here has never disappointed me but there have been numerous occasions where the cafe has been closed even though its stated as open online.. me and my girlfriend also made an order on Uber Eats for it to be randomly cancelled 5 minutes later. Shame.

This is my second time visiting Cafe Pronto, I must say the staff and the chef are truly amazing, they are very friendly, attentive to their customers and they make you feel comfortable. The food is cooked to perfection! Honestly love the food- I had a turkey bacon sandwich with a chai latte and I must say it was sooo tasty and full of flavor. Had this lovely sourdough breakfast following a visit to the nearby hospital - good prices and great produce, you can taste the quality. Would recommend!

Very dissapointed today, chicken was hard, chips were cold. The second meal bacon was overcooked and hard. We are usually pleased with the standard of food but today is far from the food standards that we have been accustomed to. We ordered through Uber Eats, no complaint about delivery time.

Yet again, Food is excellent, coffee lovely and service very friendly. Always come here while having to visit KCH.

Kamal and the team at Caffe Pronto are friendly and serve impeccable breakfasts. This morning following a hospital visit, I enjoyed poached eggs, avocado, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes on sourdough. The presentation and seasoning was magnificant, chili, vinegerette, salt, pepper. I had the breakfast with a flat white and the meal came to just over 10 pounds. The Denmark Hill has lots of options and is competitive - don't walk past Caffe Pronto without giving it a go - you will not regret it. I will return with frequency and my compliments to the super chef.

Amazing quality and great customer service. Their Eggs florentine is to die for and the Italian White Hot Chocolate is sooo addictive. The Chai Latte I'm SPEECHLESS!!!!! I cannot rave enough how good this place is. Definitely one of the top cafes in South London. 10x better than Johnnies down the road

Visited her by chance as the other eating place a few doors down was packed (I have previously eaten there and had the pancakes and I would say Caffe Pronto was much better). Went with the savoury American breakfast and it was very good. The pancakes were fluffy, the turkey bacon and scrambled egg were both very good. The staff were also really friendly and welcoming.

First time dining in since COVID started and it was really lovely. The food was really nice, lovely cafe with such wonderful staff. They’re so attentive and very COVID friendly. Such a filling breakfast, great proportions and reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the food and the staff was so great, really nice place. Also, I would highly recommend the freshly squeezed juices.

I never write reviews but I just had to for the amazing Eggs Florentine with hash browns I just had. I used to go here before Covid because the brunch is great but I think they’ve just taken it to the next level now. Just wow.

I think this cafe is going to finish my money. Food is so tasty it’s unreal plus their menu has so much range to choose from. The meals the drinks and deserts are all quality. Very rare for a place to be so consistently nice. I order from Uber eats and the food is always piping hot too

Now just for the record i have not complained about a restaurant/takeaway in very long time and that being said i have only ever complained once.. Now I ordered from just eat a cafe takeaway for lunch. I ordered a Moroccan pancake a breakfast baguette and a choco milkshake. The order took longer than expected to get to me (even though i was a few hundred yards from the cafe). When the order came i went upstairs opened it up, and took the baguette out. The sausage to me smelt funny, so i called and firstly made sure it was a normal pork sausage... It wasnt! Which worried me as i was about to bite into beef which is against my religion. I mentioned on the website it did not specify that the cafe ised beef or even turkey bacon which it again on my eyes should so that customers avoid this mishap. The owner... Yes the owner bluntly told me that nothing can be done and I should have known to ask before ordering. I was now let down by such ignorant attitude. No refund or exchange was offered. I even said i was happy to have a cafe deliver and i most prob would have ordered every other day. He basically said throw it away or eat it. Next was the fact that I did not recieve a Moroccan pancake, instead it was just a wrap. The worst was It was contaminated by an odd piece off paper that somehow ended up in the middle of the wrap. When i took a couple bites it revealed it self.. This now had me fumin! I called back and explained what had happened and he said no. This cant be true. And basically assumed i was lying. I ended up walikng up to the cafe and the manager went into the wrap and attempted to make an excuae for it. With no apology. I requested a refund of everything and he refused saying i have to contact Just eat. I was appalled by the lack of respect and service. I left leaving the food there and contacted Just eat. They said an investigation has ro happen and within 48 hour it will be settled. I had no call back or refund and it has been more than two weeks since. I contacted juat eat on the 2nd of march 2020, and they say they are now going to approve and process the refund. I will never order from there again. . Disgusting!

This place is perfect for a quick coffee and cake. Staff are always friendly and food is always fresh.

Me and my partner go to this restaurant often, the food and people are always great! The manager was kind enough to send us off with a portion of chips for our 1 year old daughter for free, also giving her free portions of fruit for free in the past. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Friendly and attentive staff and lovely food with reasonable pricing. Only negative is that they use to take orders over the phone so that you could just come over and pick it up and pay but I think they are under new management they never answer the phone!
