Our usual lunch place, lovely staff and delicious vegan burgers!

We had the halloumi burger and spicy chicken burrito. All was cooked fresh and very tasty. The decaf latte was so good, I had to have a second. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices were very reasonable. A great find, especially if visting Kings College Hospital which is only 5 minutes' walk away.

Came on Sunday for a family lunch and it was a fantastic meal for us all. Everyone by the end of the meal had empty plates and full stomach’s. Can’t wait to come back to try more dishes on the menu as the food quality is top tier.

Brunchies is a delightful, family-friendly spot I usually visit for my post-gym acai bowls, but today I decided to try their lunch menu, and I’m so glad I did! I was recommended the Pollo a la Canasta – Bolivian-style fried chicken – and it was absolutely delicious: beautifully crispy on the outside and tender within. It came with rice, chips, and plantain, which complemented the dish perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that’s perfect for families. If you’re looking for a local place to eat with everyone, I’d highly recommend Brunchies. You won’t be disappointed – you’ll leave with a satisfied belly and probably already planning your next visit! It’s a 10/10 from me.

Go here only if no where else open. Absolute crap. And I'm easily pleased. Waited 30 minutes for a small fry up even though the cafe was empty. Food was stone cold. Sent back items and food items still came back cold. Small portions for overpriced food. Avoid this.

We have come from a trip from the Canary Islands to London and the truth is that we have felt very comfortable in the bar. The kids are Spanish speakers which makes you feel at home. The food is delicious, there is something for all tastes. We went to breakfast and I ordered a healthier and crazy brunch...very good and my boyfriend ordered the typical American one and it looked very good too. Coffees for all tastes and allergies and intolerances.

Visited in March when visiting Kings. At Kings again today and decided to revisit. Glad we did. Staff as friendly as before and excellent service. Would definatly recommend for a meal.

Hassan is an outstanding owner, who makes you feel more like a guest at his home than a diner at his cafe. The cafe was buzzing on a Sunday afternoon, but he had time for everyone and even rushed away to help a couple with their buggy. My friend and I had the signature ‘Brunchie’ and Hassan’s recommendation of the Red velvet cake was on point. The cake was moist (yes, I said it!) and so good that we got the Biscoff cake too. E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T!

Lovely tasty food, and the service is always good even during busy hours. It can get hectic during Sunday brunch hours but it’s still a really good, reasonably priced spot.

The brunch I had here (the Brunchies) was delicious. The egg was cooked perfectly, the sausages tasted delicious. Also, the hash browns and the bacon were the best I had ever had in my life! I found the halloumi quite mature but this is a matter of opinion. The food here is just amazing! The prices are also very good, meaning combined with the quality of the food, you get spectacular value for money! Finally, service was great. Our waitress was really nice and welcoming and the cashier asked my mum how our food was at the end when she was paying.

This place is awesome a lot of choices (breakfast,Brunch,lunch,dinner…) I am vegetarian and I have a lot of choices my favourite is egg florentine, warm goat cheese salad and I try the quesadillas (cheese and mushroom)today was so good. The owner/chef is so friendly and helpful. I recommend this place 100%!

What a hidden gem, a place to go to each weekend, so much on the menu and great coffee. Would recommend the omelette and pancakes 😋

The food is generally good at a reasonable price but service was zero to none. No smiling or greeting. Our waitress seemed frustrated and rude when asked if we could have water and then forgot to bring it to us. The staff were not attentive and do not seem happy to work here and it unfortunately shows.

Perfect place for brunch! Staff are really nice and attentive. Always relaxing latin music is playing on the background. Food selection is great and quality of food is high! Price is super affordable, didn't think prices like this existed in London! We stayed in London for 2 days only and went there twice. Highly recommended. Thank you Kat and Lee

Such a great place!! I loved the atmosphere with Latin American music. The food was amazing. We went for brunch and we tried a bit of everything- and all the dishes were great. Especially the açai bowl 100% recommended.

Great spot to have a friendly meet with fast WiFi and great staff. Fantastic location with easy parking access, well lit and lovely ambiance. The empanadas are DELICIOUS! Highly recommend this - fried chicken is even better. I’ll undoubtedly be back.

Fantastic food - the shakshuka and eggs florentine were delicious. Generous portions and friendly, attentive staff. Lpbely( clean, Relaxed modern interior and there’s a secret garden out the back . The coffees are lovely and I would consider fighting someone for the cakes - luckily they usually have a good selection, so it’s never come to that. Highly recommend!

Food was really lovely - not sure of the quality of the eggs as they are practically neon yellow. The coffee isn’t great, and the man who I presume to be the owner came over, spoke rudely to my partner and I and slammed the coffee down on the table in front of me and was clearly angry about something, not sure what the problem was as we hadn’t spoken with him prior but definitely ruined the atmosphere. The Waitress was incredibly sweet and tried to accommodate us, there are no substitutions for the food which is a shame but not her fault and understandable - just a shame she has to work for that unpleasant owner, hopefully he treats his staff better than his customers.

I had the best breakfast at The Brunchies, where I tried the lechon. It was incredibly tender and juicy, served with rice, salad, a banana dessert, and mojos. The owner was very kind, adding to the great experience. This delicious dish is available only from Sunday to Tuesday.

Visiting London and were recommended here as a good place for breakfast on the way back to the airport. Waited outside for 20 mins after 8am. Lights on, staff in, door closed. Left after there was no move to let us know. Waste of time. Very disappointed.

We went there for lunch and picked the crispy chicken. Oh my god. Tender and juicy. Crispy and flavoursome. Each bite better than the last. I can only imagine this is how the gods must eat. Sauce was nice too.

One of my favourite breakfasts and Brunchies is my favourite place to get it. An Acai smoothie bowl. Delicious and nutritious. Always friendly, welcoming and great service. My friend had the Eggs Florentine and was very impressed. Good serving size and tasted great.

Friendly, efficient staff. Really nice food - no grease, hot, and plenty of it.

This is a below-average greasy spoon type cafe with a pleasant, industrial-chique atmosphere and ok service. But, the food. The food is prepared with supermarket-level ingredients (still glistening ham on the eggs benedict, extremely homogenous "sourdough" underneath) and very poorly cooked. The eggs were overdone, yolks dry and nearly crystalline, and the shakshuka managed to be at once overseasoned and bland. Glancing around, the tables around us were being served plates that didn't look any more appetising than ours. The coffee stood out as particularly bad. It was made from overroasted and stale beans -- the typical nescaffe/lavazza type thing that you'd have dispensed from the self serve machines in a hotel chain breakfast buffet. Not the kind of stuff you'd typically pay money for. All of which is to say, pretty much tracking the average for London food, perhaps a bit under -- but definitely not an experience for anyone who enjoys food.

Had a lovely brunch/lunch with ladies I love ....food was great my plate was clean: my smoothie was perfect and waitress wonderfully patient. We had our own special cocktail just for us and the was really tentive. We sat and relaxed long after our food was finished. Atmosphere friendly and lots of people in and out all the time great Saturday few hours of laughter and chat.

Found this little spot in Camberwell and honestly the name doesn’t do it justice, we had a fabulous meal and home made carrot cake worth every penny. The owner is a good sort!🤣🤣 The food was so good I ended up buying extra portions to take home to the family. So good 😊. Thank you. I’ll be back!

Food was ok. Although having to pay £3 extra for scramble eggs didn’t make sense to me. Staff kindly removed the charge as it’s not very clear on menu.

I had the eggs benedict on Tuesday. Absolutely stunning. One of the best finds in the Camberwell area.

Amazing English breakfast. Everything in the plate was superb. The price is fair for what you get. The service is amazing. It can get busy at time, but from the moment you order to when your food arrives, it’s not long. I would highly recommend coming here.

Lovely coffee. Pancakes were very tasty, but small and only three. Would have hoped for at least one more for the price. Service was quick and efficient. Nice spot for a Sunday morning.

I had a table of 20 here for my birthday and it was a big success. All the staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience as stress free a possible. Some ppl had brunch some lunch, food came out together and everyone was happy with what they ordered. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, will definitely be back!

Really nice food. No brunch place that does concentrate orange juice should show their face in public. The freshly squeezed orange juice means you know you're in for nice food! The acai bowl was delicious! Lost a star for the not so perfectly comfortable chairs, although I'm being harsh.

The owner, who also happens to look like Phil Mitchell came up to me, and my family were trying to celebrate my dad‘s birthday. He tried to intimidate us because we sent back coffees that had Hair in it and didn’t taste right. Even proceeded to tell my father to not order sweet drinks, if he has high blood pressure in a very rude, intimidating manner all whilst we were trying to be friendly. Then had his waitresses hover over us as we ate our food and tried to enjoy the rest of our time there . Very unpleasant unprofessional establishment.

This was not what I expected at all! I thought it was gonna be like lovely pouched eggs with avo vibes… this was giving greasy spoon! The food was below average and they were blasting the tunes on a Wednesday afternoon and there was literally just me and my friend in there with our 6 month old babies….last but not least I wanted to change my hash brown and toast for something else and he wasn’t having it and it made no sense?? I feel like this place is tryna be a nice brunch spot but really it’s just a cafe with meedi food

Love this place on a Sunday morning/afternoon the vegan breakfast is amazing and so fresh, and there flat white is the strongest I've ever had, not to mention the amazing hot chocolate and kale kick smoothie 😉😉

One of the worst brunch spots. Very disappointed with both service and food. It was not busy but we waited 20 minutes just to order and about 1h for the food to arrive. Once I got my smashed avocado toast, there was the thinnest layer of avocado, it felt like they run out and gave me whatever they had left. I checked the website photos and it’s not meant to look like that. I told the waiter and she took my plate but came back saying that it was normal and that the manager was “too busy”. I was in shock. She finally came back with a little pot.

Been meaning to do a review but keeps on forgetting but thanks to my colleague Anitta I will. Been going there lately maybe 1x a month, for, I guess a year now. Good luck making your meal decision as all is very tasty. Although, I am very partial to their Bolivian fried chicken, I almost always have it. Don't mind my 4 stars rating that's just me....

Had Christmas lunch 15/12/23 it was absolutely lovely. Seafood Linguine, Sweet Potato Fries and a generous serving of Plantain. Great services as we requested our lunch to be ready as we an hour for our break and they accommodated our request.

I had an amazing time at Brunchies, I went for a 1hr Christmas lunch with my work colleagues and this was my second time going. The service was phenomenal as always. The food arrived HOT and did not take too long with the drinks, the staff were bubbly and very attentive. It's my favourite place in Camberwell for breakfast, brunch/lunch, I would definitely recommend and very affordable too. Kind regards, Michelle

We had a lovely breakfast here! Very accommodating staff. As asians, we like to eat rice for breakfast and they offered us the mains even if its not yet lunch time, which is very nice of them! I had the lechon with rice! Its very rare to find a restaurant that have lechon on their menu, so its a plus for me! The lechon is very soft and flavourful! The portion are big for its price. Very affordable! Also, they make the best chai latte in the area!
