The best restaurants in Southwark London

What a Gem! Lovely French food excellent wine! Definitely one of my favourite places to eat! A little slice of France.

Tomamos un par de pintas con un amigo allí y también tuvimos una hamburguesa cada uno. Tomé la hamburguesa de maní y tocino. Estaba ligeramente seca (la mantequilla de maní definitivamente no ayudó con eso) pero agregué un poco de salsa y me gustó mucho. No era demasiado caro y el ambiente era muy agradable. Se pone muy ruidoso debido a que es un lugar pequeño, pero en general es un lugar muy agradable para tomar un bocado o solo unas pintas.

Went to see Response Theatre Company here and it has such a nice vibe! There is also amazing art work in the foyer/ bar area :)

Good service, but don't use the toilets, I cannot believe how they had been left! Not the staffs' fault and if I were them I wouldn't want to clean them! It's the disgusting public for leaving them it that condition! I'm glad I didn't eat there!

The fish and chips here is great. We always get the cod as it is really tasty. The guys working there are really friendly and clearly enjoy having a laugh which makes for a good atmosphere while you wait for your fish and chips

Phew, they repaired my wonderful old Trek cycle that I now take over even e-bikes! Marvelous!

I went with my two friends, when ordering I ordered a tea for myself and then started asking about the milk drink. The waiter asked me “Do you not want your tea?” I said “I do, I am asking about the milk drink for my friend.” He went “Well let him order then.” in a condescending and rude way. It was my first time dining here, and off to a bad start. Also I noticed that when he was introducing the sauces and the ingredients, he didn’t look at me at all but was constantly making eye contact with my two friends, as if I was invisible. Throughout the entire time I was there he didn’t address me. Overall the portion size was good and the other serving staff were friendly, but my experience was ruined by the waiter.

Late at Tate members night was cool, speedran through every exhibition. I'll be back to take my time soon

Thank you so much for the lovely, attentive and personal service. From the reception staff asking whether it was a special occasion, to the lovely wait staff, and the personal touch of the "Congratulations" complimentary sorbet, the whole evening was exactly what I wanted, from start to finish. It's refreshing to come to London and experience value, quality and service in a restaurant with a beautiful setting.

Stayed here on vacation 2 weeks- one week planned and an additional week unplanned due to closure of Heathrow airport. Amazing staff and service. We had the family room which is two joint hotel rooms super spacious two bathrooms and the rooms were big! Room service is delicious order the chicken fingers! And the restaurant downstairs has delicious burgers 10/10 stay. So close to everything- we walked everywhere from this location. Will probably stay here every time we’re in London. If you happen to be outside during sunset the bridge/scenery is beautifully pink and colorful.
