Proper old style greasy spoon this place, visited yesterday morning after staying in the local area. Don't think the decor has been updated for a good 30 years but that's part of it's charm. It does what is says on the tin - reasonable priced breakfasts, quick service, nice enough food, in and out within half hour - happy days. Only one point to note, we'd usually go to sit down prior to ordering, choose what we'd like etc, but the gentleman behind the till said we needed to order first before doing so (different but hey ho..) which meant we felt a little under pressure to order quickly. Aside from that, a decent visit.

If you’re unfortunate enough to have to visit a patient in St George’s Hospital and need a break take a short walk to this cafe. Good food, good price, good service, and far better than the on site options.

Great spot for traditionalist to do brekfest friendly staff and great food kids meals available and locals best u get in london.

Lovely food , large plates staff are very welcomeing . Setting very small tables very near each other.

This unpretentious and very friendly cafe may not have a smart decor but it’s brilliant and serves lovely fresh breakfasts at a very reasonable price. It’s our ‘go to’ place for a ‘full english ’ takeaway and breakfast sandwiches. It’s not posh, it’s a real gem.

Not one the tourists seek out but they should. This is proper locals cafe. Keep your global brands! Basic stuff done well at bargain prices for London. No frills but good fills.

Favourite fry up in London - in terms of great value, great customer service, great portions. Absolutely no complaints - am a regular.

Basic no frills proper cafe. Does what you want before a pre match session at the Ship. Nothing flash just what a cafe should be and few independents left so go whilst you can.

I love this place for their freshly cooked perfect full English breakfasts. And very decently priced too. Review drop down asks when I ate. I will put date of last visit (a few days before Lockdown No 2) but have been eating here on and off for the last couple of decades

Top up before a good booze up. Cracking value cafe food and drinks. An old style cafe so much nicer than pre packaged chain offerings. Long May cafes survive!

Exactly as the title says. It isn't pretentious, it doesn't try to be at all. If you are after smoked salmon and avocado then this is not the place for you. If you are after a proper fry up for a good price then this is your place for sure! A real good greasy spoon cafe

Always been a favourite of mine - My family have been coming here for years and the owners are some of the friendliest people you will meet. The cafe is excellent value for money. If you are looking for something cheap and tasty I would recommend this!

Food is excellent friendly staff .good value for money and easy to get to from rotherhithe tunnel full breakfast is a must.

Returning for the 19/20 football season and as ever really good value pre beer fry ups hit the spot. Great locals cafe.

In need of something to eat but nothing too much, so a doorstop corned beef sandwich with a mug of tea for just £2.80 can’t be beat. Enjoy.

First it’s a cafe, no airs no graces. Second it’s a very good cafe! Usually I have some sort of pre match fry up combination but had been promising myself liver and onions and today was the day. Lovely stuff with chips, bacon, marrow fat...

food Okish,not all fresh in my opinion, come out very hot like it was microwaved. Questioned our food and the young man was extremely rude and temperamental

Small cafe, food ok but not great quality. Menu displayed with pictures on wall. I always stick to a Sunday fry up which is ok. Tell them how you want your eggs as he bursts the yolk so no yolk to dip your food in.

Couldn’t wait for the start of the new season so a quick hop on the train from Birmingham to meet up with a friend for a pub crawl was just the excuse needed to pop in. All as usual, freshly cooked hot breakfasts, great value,...

Best find of the season this cafe. Cracking value and quality, so much so it’s our pre match cafe of choice now. Thanks for all the breakfasts all season and see you in August.

Great, friendly cafe. Popped in for breakfast whilst just passing. I had a delicious sandwich. The staff were extremely warm and friendly. Made my morning!

A regular pre match visit for myself and my friends now. Top quality breakfasts at fantastic prices for London. Great value. Highly recommended.

If you want a good old style breakfast this is the place to and the prices are very reasonable not had a bad meal or take away from a must if you like a fry up.

Back in the area with friends on a wet grey morning but all cheered up by great food and drinks. Yep it’s a cafe but as a cafe it is one of those independents we all need to support more so go.

Off the tourist trail but very close to Canada Water tube and bus. Proper English fry ups, well cooked and brilliant value. Well worth seeking out.
