Lunch out with my daughter who is vegetarian, always struggle to find places with a lot of choices . But we were not disappointed , the range of vegetarian dishes is amazing. I had a bacon sausage brioche bap , and my daughter an Halloumi wrap . We share a fries big portion and two drinks . Service was lovely, the waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products and coffee making
The most delicious meal, everything was insanely good. Incredible service and a firm favourite in the area. Abhi was the most amazing server and remembered our drink order from the last time! That kind of touch goes far!
Coffee and ice cream are amazing but service not so much - minimal engagement with the staff but I was ok with that.
However, the other day I went in to buy a Christmas cake and a lady in a beige coat was following me around the tiny shop. At first I thought she was a customer but then realised she is actually working there. She didn’t engage or ask anything and it quickly became very apparent that she was on some sort of a shoplifter watch. It was really uncomfortable and not something I ever experienced before. Not busy either, it definitely just made me give up on the cake and I left. I am not sure who needs ti hear this but this is certainly not a way to treat your customers and perhaps you need to reconsider your approach.
Picked up takeout from 'rebel rito' .....Which is actually chowka restaurant. Very strange. Unsure what is going on with this place? It looks dirty inside, a bed in the middle of the place, overwhelming smells.
First impressions walking in...dark...damp...stinks of oil and stale food... not the best impression for getting your food.
We collected our takeout.... it was dry, tasteless, not well seasoned. Fries tasted like they had been reheated about 10 times. Didn't even eat the rest.
Branded as a nice takeout but actually a rundown dirty restaurant. Very misleading.
The food is prepared with love and served with kindness and a smile.
George and Deborah offer homemade food that will make you smile.
You may need a few minutes of patience to find a place at the food stall (especially during busy hours).
Once you are seated, get ready for a lunch that you will want to repeat soon.
What can I say I used to use regeans but since it’s been taken over it’s gone down hill so now I use miki the staff are friendly great welcome fantastic food this is now my new chip shop
We were feeling a little peckish on the way home from Kew Gardens and came by to have some wings. They were very fresh and crunchy and definitely hit the spot!!
Disappointing & Inauthentic – Not Italian by Any Means
I had high hopes for *Al Boccon di'Vino*, but my experience was a complete letdown. The food was bland, uninspired, and tasted nothing like authentic Italian cuisine—more like a lazy attempt at upscale dining with no soul.
To make matters worse, there wasn’t a single Italian staff member in sight—no chefs, no managers, no one who seemed to understand real Italian flavors. Instead of quality, they rely on filling you with overpriced wine, hoping your taste buds go numb enough to ignore the mediocre food.
Speaking of which, the prices are outright extortionate. For what they charge, you’d expect handmade pasta, fresh ingredients, and genuine expertise—not reheated disappointments drowned in cheap truffle oil.
Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects Italian cuisine. This place is a tourist trap with a fancy facade. Zero authenticity, zero value.
