Good friendly service. I liked the fact that I was given a jug of tap water rather than just a glass. Food was tasty. My order was slightly wrong. I would recommend. Hand sanitizer was on every table such a good idea before eating a sandwich. I will return. 2023 On returning recently and I was hugely disappointed. Different staff who were very friendly and attentive I had a tuna and cheese and mayo sandwich. It was boring. The bread was nothing special just normal, no side dressing and it wasn't a full sandwich. I was disappointed for the money. Not sure I will return 2025 Thank you so much for the reply which I appreciate your response. My 2nd post says it was posted 2weeks ago. I am not sure what has gone wrong with Google maps but that visit to Cafe Pera was at least 18mths ago. Thanks again 😊

A proper pub with great beer and friendly staff

I have been here a number of times over the years but not since before COVID. I was visiting the garden centre across the road and came for lunch. I am delighted to say it is still great and reasonably priced. I had a cheese, onion and mushroom omelette served with a freshly prepped side salad for a very competitive £6.45. The quality of the food was excellent and my cappuccino was very nice too.

Food ok but it’s the second time they’ve tried it on by adding food and drink onto the bill, first time we gave them benefit of the doubt but second time alarm bells, won’t go again, shame…

We had a lovely takeaway from here, we’ve been back a few times. The chicken is lovely, the service is always good. Recommend

Very little choice of food for people who don't eat meat.

All ok, air con left room feeling very dry. As usual with Premier Inn I had to suffer the public toilet style single sheet paper dispensers, with the slogan 'everything premier except the price' I often wonder why my local supermarket doesn't stock a wide range of single sheet toilet papers to choose from. Change the slogan or change the experience!

Food: quality and taste is mediocre. I had chips, peas and gravy. This was a takeaway. Gravy: very minimal thick and gloopy, just tiny blobs. I was put off the moment I opened the box, and this was put into a cardboard box that was very wet at the bottom where chips had started to fall out. Service: Poor. No one else was in the shop when I arrived. I was stood for ten minutes whilst a man appeared from the back to attend to frying chips, but still did not look up and see me. I almost and should have walked out. His attitude is extremely rude, no customer service skills whatsoever. gave my order. I asked how long it would take and was told seven or eight minutes. I went outside and returned after ten minutes, and my order still was not ready so I waited another five minutes. As he was gathering my order, I repeated to remind him not to put any salt on. He responded arrogantly, looking at two other customers at the same time, whilst saying out loud that he has a good brain. They just smirked. Ast the same time as I was walking out, he insulted me to the other customers. This man has a totally rude and unprofessional attitude, not one that I have ever experienced before as a customer. I shall NOT be returning. Atmosphere: Dingy and damp, but good for drinkers who would not notice. This place could definitely do with a standards inspection including food. If you want excellent fish and chips, the old fashioned way, I recommend Whitby harbour, or another fish and chip shop with a customer review and hygiene rating of five stars. There are a few in the Teddington area.
