We had a lovely takeaway from here, we’ve been back a few times. The chicken is lovely, the service is always good. Recommend

Great starters, but the Singapore rice noodles weren’t especially good.

Been using this takeaway for years, but tonight's food was way below par. Rice was wet and had no flavour, the sweet and sour sauce was like water and the chicken balls were over cooked and very small.REALLY DISAPPOINTED

Sorry but the Chow Mein was horrible. No taste at all and about half a bottle of oil. Tiny bit of onion and about 5 bean sprouts.

Hot and sour soup was very nice! Beef chow mein was very dry and didn’t taste right! Salt and pepper squid was nice the rice was ok but only 1 prawn the man that delivered our food was slow and on the phone to his friend and swearing a lot of

Tiny portions. Also too much sauce in all the dishes. Think thats to fill out the box to bulk it out but in reality not much in the box. But Good flavours.

Made the mistake of ordering a Thai dish off the menu. Assumed because there were several Thai dishes, they had Thai cuisine nailed. This was the worst Chicken Green Curry we have ever tasted. Flaccid, barely cooked chicken with a gloopy sauce. Not coconut milk. Revolting. The Singapore Vermicelli was actually good. It was way over spicy for the recipe though, but I like spice, so no complaints there. If you were expecting a normal Singapore noodle heat though, you would be sweating fire!

Ordered from this place yesterday amazing food but limited on what you can get, very quick service but not the best noodles amount of different types and so it the tai green curry which is too peppery.

My take on the food, was poor very Unauthentic, my family owned a Chinese Restaurant. Particularly the Peking duck it was pulled off the bone it was dry and you can tell what part of the duck came from, there was no crispy skin. London China Town, here I come.

I have been ordering from Mei's House for years. Always excellent food and lovely couple who run the business. Always recommend to those new to the area.

My favourite local Chinese, decently priced and the food is great. If you lean more towards a 'dirty chinese', full of flavour and bad for you in a good way, this is the place for you. Good dumplings and I like their vermicelli noodles.

Best Chinese take away in the area.

Placed 4 calls all spaced >5 minutes apart and none were answered. As a result, I had to walk to the shop to order and wait 10 minutes when there appeared to be no problem with the phone or staff. Furthermore, the change was for 50p and I received 2 20p coins instead. Given my age, I assume the staff saw an opportunity to save 10p on a £10 order and had no hesitation in taking it. Despite the good food, I was severely put off by the abysmal customer service and can't bring myself to give any higher than 1 star.

Order from here a lot and never disappointed! Lovely food and friendly faces :).

Couldnt find them online! - So phoned up and ordered, at first I was hesitant just due to the google rating... then I read the low comments and they are all nonsense. Nice owner and son, the food was awesome! honestly really good. Will totally be coming back :) 5*

Popped in while waiting for a bus and what a great decision that was. Delicious food, we had the shredded crispy beef, chicken in ginger and onion sauce, beef in szechuan sauce and red thai duck and they were all very tasty

Delicious food and good delivery service

I did rate them 5 stars when they first opened. But they now promise a service within 45 minutes and I get the food an hour and a half later and always cold. Such a shame. I recommended them to so many people and felt completely embarrassed by how their standards have dropped! This is the last time I use them!

Pretty good Chinese food at a decent price. Delivery has rarely been over 45 mins and staff have always been polite and helpful.

Good food really tasty and quick service

Food was totally inedible. Thai fish cakes were too spicey, rubbery and could not be eaten. Egg fried rice was grey / brown. Chicken satay was burned and tasteless. Chilli shredded chicken was rubbery. Pad Thai chicken was brown / grey and inedible. Chicken balls were burned and full of grease. Had to throw the whole lot into the bin and ordered pizza instead. Waste of time and money getting food from here - there are much better Chinese takeaways around.

shame really should of been a 5 the food is amazing the best chinese we have ever had we phoned to start with cause we had never ordered and didnt have a menu and the man we spoke to said if there was anything they didnt do they could still try and do it for us when we eventually phoned we spoke to a lady when i asked for sweet and sour pork we were told they dont have pork when we got the menu woth our dinner they do loads of pork dishes

I've eaten my way through a lot of the menu, and I'm very impressed with the consistent quality of the food at Mei's House. It's not always easy to find a good quality Chinese Takeaway, but with good food coupled with friendly staff and reasonable prices, it is the superior option in the area. Keep up the good work.

In my opinion Ming's is very good,the food was perfectly delicious and they are always kind and good , I never had a single problem with them.

The food is ok but they mixed my order up and when I called them to tell them she was rude and told me she did not mix order up and I was not clear with my order

Terrible and a con. Ordered Veg with Satay Sauce, listed on the menu as 'spicy'. What i got was some tasteless, bland slop - not a hint of chilli or peanut in sight. When I called to question whether or not they'd mixed up my order by mistake, I was told that their Satay Sauce does not contain peanuts (??!!) and they don't put chills in 'because people round here don't like hot food.' Unbelievable.
