Byblos in Richmond upon Thames

Very friendly service and excellent food. It is a great addition to the area and we will be visiting again soon.

WOW! Just been up to Byblos on a New Year whim, and the place is unreal. Really lovely atmosphere, good people - and the food is magnificent. Can't recommend the Lamb and Aubergine Tagine highly enough. We eat out in Twickenham a fair bit and definitely have our favourites, but this one was superb <3

Very tasty Mediterranean food, would recommend. Best to order direct though as cheaper than through just and the like.

Seven of us ate here on Saturday night and we all agreed it is an excellent restaurant. The decor is quite simple and the tables are adorned with jewel-coloured cloths and place mats. Service was very good - attentive, polite and courteous. We all chose different dishes, a mixture of starters and mains, and the magicians in the kitchen managed to produce everything at the same time for us. We all agreed that the food was delicious, and all dishes were beautifully presented. I would thoroughly recommend Byblos, and look forward to eating there again.

Byblos tonight was a truly wonderful experience, the best Mediterranean cuisine I've had in years! The service from Omar was fantastic, and he went out of his way to make our visit wholly enjoyable. I would recommend as a must go to for anyone in South West London!

Visited with 6 friends and had a wonderful evening. Fantastic food, and everything that we ordered was amazing and it just kept on coming. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about all the dishes and willingly accommodated the smallest request. The food was exceptional especially the tabouleh and the tagine and the fact that the restaurant is BYO what more could you wish for. It was a great night and we will definitely be returning. Although a few people came to collect a takeaway, we were sadly the only diners in the restaurant on a Saturday night which is such a great shame, as it is a hidden gem. It’s location is slightly off the beaten track but I would definitely recommend it’s worth a visit and and we will be returning.

We enjoyed a fantastic mix of hot and cold mezze items and plenty of choice for vegetarian diners. Our host, Omar was welcoming and accommodating. We can't wait to return!

Going there for the past month, every other evening. Went there last night, ended up spending about 4 hrs having tea and chatting with the owner and staff. Fantastic food, fantastic service, great place!! Strongly recommend!!

We've just enjoyed an really excellent meal here at Byblos. The food was absolutely superb. The falafel was the best I have ever had. We went as a family of four with our kids aged 10 and 8. They loved it just as much as us. Do go along and support this local restaurant, they are doing such a great job!

Visited for the first time today after a family member recommended. Food was fantastic, delicious and authentic Middle Eastern food beautifully cooked. Can’t recommend enough and can’t wait to go back.

We were a party of six, and enjoyed a first-class meal, of imaginative and well-prepared dishes, many from Lebanon, but prepared with a real flair, and excellent presentation. In one case we requested thin chips instead of the thicker ones on the menu, and, hey-presto, thin chips arrived! The lamb and chicken shawarmas were very good, with the lamb one made from real meat, and not the unmemorable meat paste so often found in Turkish takeaways. The meal was rounded off with Free Lebanese sweets, and the bill was very reasonable. The BYB policy also helped, and our wine went very well with the food. An exceptionally good dinner, and I can recommend Byblos to anyone with an interest in interesting food, well presented and well prepared. Roger

Visited Byblos for the first time last Sunday evening. Will definitely be going again. Although my partner and I were the only customers the chef/waiter was very busy with take aways but he also made time to talk with us and introduce himself. I had the lamb tagine and my partner had a kebab, both of which were excellent. I wish this new restaurant, which is slightly out of the main town of Twickenham every success. The BYO is a bonus too.

This restaurant is a secret find, the food is lovely, we had humous and chicken livers for starters, both were really nice, the chicken livers were fantastic, really great flavours. Main course of meal tagine, the beef melted in the mouth it was so good. Also minced lamb kebab was also really nice. The 2 brother that run this place are really friendly and offer attentive service. The portion sizes are large so don't over order like we did! I would recommend going for the local dishes the flavours are delightful! To top off the fabulous food it BYO with no corkage charge. Great food at a great value - this is the first time I have left a review but loved this place so much!

Have just been to this new restaurant in Hampton Road in Twickenham. A chance discovery when walking home a couple of nights ago, we noticed the menu, which looked very interesting. Returned and had lovely mixed starters followed by Lamb and Aubergine Tagine, which was delicious. All of the dishes seem very freshly cooked and lovely flavours, and service is very good. Note that the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, but they welcome you to bring your own bottles and don't charge corkage. Higly recommended casual / informal restaurant, especially if you like Lebanese and Turkish food and their flavours. It was quite quiet when we visited but perhaps best to book a table just in case.
