Went there with a friend for some drinks and food. The food was amazing. I went for the chicken wrap with cheddar cheese medium spice… the cocktails they have as well are really good. There specials change every week! It’s a good place to go to for a catch up or even a Good Friday/ Saturday evening drink up! The owner and waitress they are so lovely and are always up for a laugh with their customers.

Fui allí con un amigo para algunas bebidas y comida. La comida era increíble. Fui a por el envoltorio de pollo con queso cheddar especia media... los cócteles que tienen también son muy buenos. ¡Hay especiales que cambian cada semana! ¡Es un buen lugar para ponerse al día o incluso tomar una copa el Viernes Santo / Sábado por la noche! El dueño y la camarera son tan encantadores y siempre están dispuestos a reírse con sus clientes.

I was sick 2 days. Very unhealthy food, shiny, full of oils, very small portions

Every dish was packed with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. The attentive staff ensured a seamless experience, while the ambiance was warm and inviting.

Love this place, has some of the best food and the service is amazing but the new menu has ruined it for me and my family to be completely honest. Taken away the best dishes! Absolutely heartbroken hopefully they change it back this place has a special place in all our hearts.

Ordered on Uber eats for the first time and the food was delicious!! I ordered the steak platter and prawn cake. The portion was generous too. Will definitely be ordering again. 😁

Pedimos Vientre de cerdo del menú de la hora del almuerzo y Chili con Carne de la tabla de ofertas. Decepcionado con el vientre de cerdo, no como se esperaba, servido con delgadas chuletas de cerdo recubiertas de una salsa que eran duras como botas viejas. El chile tenía diferentes hierbas y especias al igual que el arroz, probablemente de estilo portugués. Si alguna vez lo revisitamos será por el menú de la cena que se ve mucho más apetitoso.

food is really bland please use some ingredients grill chicken so blend I had to season it myself not worth the money I think they made enough to not care anymore

The feijoada had very little beans and the lid was opened so the sauce had leaked.

It was missing Mediterranean rice £ 3.95.

A local friend had recommended this to us for my birthday meal out. We had the Tapas Sharer, and it exceeded all our expectations : wonderful clams, sardines, ping prawns. A little feast. Fine Alentejano house wines at reasonable prices. What a find.

Grilled chicken from this place is consistently miles better than anywhere else and the rice is delicious too. I decided to order a nata as well this time but it wasn't good.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before going to Heathrow. Lunch was delicious. The Pasta Carbonara was flavorful and the Giant Prawns appetizer tasty. Definitely a repeat.

I went there with a group of 22 people. We pre-ordered the food, and I was extremely impressed with the quality and freshness of the food. True Portuguese flavours, in particular the rice. Excellent and personalised service. A place to go back.

We came across this by chance while walking the London Loop.Ignore the printed menu and go for the specials-cataplana, octopus, bacalhau etc. We had a beautifully cooked sea bass and chicken wings plus salads and new potatoes. We had a carafe of Instinto white (from Alentejo where the family owners come from) . All for £43 inc service. Off the beaten track but worth a visit if you are in the area

Ordered at 19.10. Food delivery was estimated between 19.50 and 20.00. Then was pushed back to between 20.00 and 20.10. At 20.40 I called the restaurant. They told me the food had been ready since 20.20 (kept under hot lamps) but the driver hadn't arrived. I contacted just eat for help. The food finally arrived at 21.15. That's nearly an hour that food had been waiting to be picked up! Not impressed with Just eat. Have ordered with Stella's before and their food is outstanding. Won't order from the just eat app next time, I'll order from their website or Uber Eats!

I requested the chicken to be put into a separate container. Also called the restaurant to confirm, which they did. When the order arrived there was pork chops mixed in with the chicken. I called the restaurant the owners became quite defensive and argumentative towards me, saying that I was in the wrong. This is a cover up as I clearly called the restaurant to confirm. I have Islamic friends that round and we had to order from somewhere else as this isn’t acceptable. This is a family owned business which we try to support given the climate we are all in. But next time I’d rather order from KFC, as I know they adhere to dietary requirements and respect a diverse range of customers. Very disappointed please do not order from this place. Their whole chicken is a baby poussin! Be warned!

Apparently whole chickens have no legs. I saw a review saying their whole chicken had no legs so I made a point of checking... yup - no legs. It's a mystery what becomes of the legs when you buy a whole chicken. Sadly the custard tarts were not as they should be - the flaky pastry should be crispy and flaky. Sadly the pastry was soggy and chewy. Not sure if the tarts were stale or what, but definitely not what they should be. The chicken was as tasty as ever, just missing legs. If you buy a whole chicken, the secret is in 'whole' should be complete, legs and all.

Charming family place with excellent service and good food. Try the grilled pig's ears if you are brave ! More conventional food was delicious. Outside tables available and easy parking. Loved it.

Food was lovely, but sadly, I didn't get the side salad that I had said yes to, with the whole chicken meal with fries.

There was an error initially with my delivery. So I called to confirm that it’s a pick up. I was told my meal will be ready in 5 minutes. I drove 8 minutes from my home. Got there at 2:58 my order was supposed to be ready . I was told 3-4 minutes. I ended up waiting for another 13 minutes. After all this my sardines were oily and burnt and the chicken ( that I’ve always loved) was not up to normal quality. Really Bad

Ordered whole chicken and ended up having half chicken only. Chicken pieces were bony burnt and dry. Nit at all to normal standards we are used to I'm again. Complained to stellas who were apologetic and said Just Eat messd things up and will be rectified next time we order

Order said driver was at restaurant for over an hour. I rang the restaurant who told me the driver wasn’t there. Food has arrived now but not hot because of the driver not being there

Proper home style cooked food. Chicken was charcoal grilled and delicious, baby potatoes and also the oven one with spicy sauce all nice cooked, not processed or frozen ingredients. Clams in wine yum yum.Love it, thank you all the staff.

Really enjoyed dinner at this place food was delicious, service was friendly and the prices very reasonable (which is very hard to find nowadays as everything is so overpriced) will definitely return.

Chips were cold & didn’t enjoy the wrap

Food portion was absolutely shocking, This was meant to big a large platter costing £38. A large chips was less than a small portion, salad was a large container (bigger then the chips container) full of lettuce two tomatoe slice three cucumber slices and six strands(not even slices) of red onion.its states two belly pork slices, there was one cut into three, one whole chicken. It was tiny to the point you couldn't work out what was chicken, this tiny chicken didn't have legs it had drumsticks 4 cm long and the the chicken wings that came as separate from them whole chicken where embrassing they were about 2cm each and as for the ribs l know they were spare ribs but there was absolutely no meat on them. I spoke with Shawn at Stella's about my disappointment and he said he told me that the portions have got smaller, l could understand if that if they hadn't put the price up by a£10. Absolutely disappointed.its ashame because normally this platter would normally feed a family of six with left overs and tonight it bearly fed three, l will need to order something else from elsewhere, as Shawn said there was nothing he could do, even though he said that it sounds like the chef didn't put enough meat in plus there wasnt any drivers.

Order should have had salad but none came with order. Stella's refused to send the salad or offer a refund. Wings were the small end of the wing, very poor value for money. Clearly only interested in profit not quality and portion size. Disappointed!!!!

We always love food from Stella’s however the meals that we ordered state they come with salad but none of them did. I would have ordered side salad separately if the meals didn’t state salad comes with it. Also missing a portion of fries. Quite annoying really. But the food that did arrive is lovely.

Normally as regular customers from here (once a week as our cheat meal) I’d say beats all takeaways by a mile. However they have discontinued their meat sharer and replaced it with a new one without sauce…. As much as it saddens me to say just get a meat shared from a kebab house. Without their amazing sauce that you could literally drink it’s just bland meat all be it cooked well it’s not what it used to be. Such a shame as we loved it here and would crave it all week.

Disaster only one person waiting on tables and serving drinks to lots of people outside waited 10mins before we got a menu another 10mins before for drinks to arrive another 15mins for a dish of olives and then I hr for the main meal we had to get up and go and find our own condiments Because no one was taking the drinks order from people outside everyone was coming in and standing by the counter which was just opposite our table felt sorry for the waiter who was trying to do his best Shame because when the food eventually arrived it was very nice Won't be going back

I have been using this restaurant for a while but it gets worst every time,the chicken is full of bones,hardly any bite to it,it feels like eating a bird wings,too mean,why they do this as a chicken is cheap to buy and they charge you a lot for bones.please avoid if you can these people needs to learn a lesson,customer for long time but they don't respect you.horrible service.

Wow..better than nandos . We have just had a whole chicken and 6 wings hot with the side of spicy rice (which was very very tasty) and salad. Definitely will be returning. Thank u Stella's we had a very enjoyable meal

Great food but not so good if you want to make a phone order, no one seems to answer the phone. Maybe they go out a lot to find the chicken to kill and cook it :)

I'm all for supporting small businesses (especially when the food is good) but waiting over an hour and a half for a delivery (with no updates on the app) alongside a few items missing, is beyond a joke. I've ordered from here several times and it seems to be a recurring pattern. This time is the final straw though. Didn't even have an apology when I called up politely asking for an update on my order. Bear in mind, I spent £60 on my most recent order, so to have such poor service is a bit of a kick in the teeth. Poor form all round, won't bother ordering from here ever again.
